Careers Employment Questions and Answers

Looking for a otr trucking co. that hires drivers near has-been randoms?

Question:
what if its more than 2yrs old

Answer:
Call some. They don't know who you are on the phone. Tell them you own some failed irregular testing over 2 years ago and ask if that would exclude you from working for them.
Those kind of companies are getting harder to find. Usually, if an applicant has something on their narrative past 4-6 years, they might be of a mind to hire him on; but if it's fairly recent, they're allowably reluctant. Still, if you can find a smaller company that is probably cool about it, you might be capable of hire on with them; provided, logically, you can avoid failing another random. Good luck.

I hold an interview as a fundraiser.?

Question:
hey guys Has anyone ever been a fundraiser if so what happen at the interview what do they ask you? cos i got it near the mental health foundation. anyone get any ideas on how to blag it

Answer:
Fundraising is a great job. I've been competent to travel around the world teaching it to other citizens, and my job involves reunion wealthy ancestors and going to their lovely homes. I've made a lot of friends who are millionaires, and every time at work, I help to take home people's lives better by making sure they get the comfort they need. I'm Robin Hood, except I don't rob from the rich, I show them why they want to support the poor and they choose to participate.

At the interview, they'll ask you why you're interested within fundraising and in their foundation. Do you know anyone who have mental health issues? Why do you chew over it's important to lend a hand people near that problem? Also, they may want to know how you feel in the region of people near money: you don't want to say that you envy them or can`t stand them. They may ask how you feel in the order of money: say that it's a tool, that it's indistinct; don't say that money is evil or the root of adjectives evil.

Other than that, they just want to know if you're a complicated worker, if you can be trusted, if you care something like their cause, and if you are thinking of making fundraising into a occupation. Say yes, because it really is a terrific career. There are not plenty people who want to fundraise (it's rugged to ask about money), so at hand are plenty of jobs and it's graceful to get promotions.

If you want to revise a good method of fundraising briskly, there's a 17-minute video at www.benevon.com which will teach you seriously quickly, and you'll be extraordinarily knowledgable in the interview. Good luck!
So you're going to be one of the chuggers who approach people within the street and coerce them to sign up for a monthly direct debit to a charity they've never heard of. You will be despised by everyone you group, all your friends will disown you and you will be one desolate loser. Don't do it.
my mate bob is doing 12 yrs for running off next to all the funds he raise!
Sadly, snookster is right, I too loathe people accost me in the street asking for donations...and I work surrounded by the sector! I don't know why large, respectable orgs close to the MHF use these methods.
I guess they will be looking to see that you are confident in approaching strangers and not appropriate no for an answer without if truth be told holding a knife to the person's throat. I wouldn't describe this type of fundraising as a trade.
The kind of fundraising the previous answerer is chitchat about is totally different and without a flaw respectable.
To show how keen you are, shake a tin surrounded by the interviewers face when they ask you if you are motivated.

if they stroke like they aren't coming forward near any cash, wrestle bizarrely near them until you have found a few coins.

if you're questioning for commission and you looked-for to mention desired income but the minimum is not transferable than it

Question:
usually we say

us 4.000 (negotiable)

but

approaching this

us 4,000 (not negotiable) ...is this correct?

Answer:
Yes
USD $4,000 per month (non negotiable).

You need to put the spell of time in, is it by the month? Or something else? USD = U.S. Dollars.
mentioning anything approaching this when initially looking for a job will not
dance down well.
axiom "not negotiable" is technically correct ,but bad strategy for seeking work.not solely does it indicate no flexibility on your part, but it may epreclude you from even getting an inerview.
Say I am sure we can come to a mutual agreement how much are you offering me at this time...next to a smile..on you face...

Will i jeopardize my craft if i pocket a break and become a fulltime mother?

Question:
I have 2 masters degree and i always looked-for to make it big surrounded by corporate world. Today my career is surrounded by a rut, my nanny situation is not working it out. My kids are 4 and 1.5 yrs antiquated?

I need the money to rate off our mortgage quicker and hold bank balance(safety net); we can survive on my husband's paycheck month to month but will not own any savings

Other mistrust is if i quit, then it will be difficult to kick start my career again- today i am surrounded by my mid 30s have a 6 numeral salary but a meaningless depressing living with a 30 min commute from home. Good constituent is that i have 6 info salary and a 30 min commute next to a director title(just title). My old nanny is set to come back.

Do u regard i would be able to see start my career if i appropriate 1 year break from work and stay with my kids
and craft 6 figures or more when i move about back? I am not sure what i should do?

Answer:
That is something like mad of women face this year and age. Coming from a hiring perspective yes the year gap may look doomed to failure to some companies others will ask for an explanation. I know coming from the hiring end of it if in that is a 2 or 3 year gap on their resume but someone have the experience and educational degree to back it up I will send for them for an interview.
I told a co-worker of mine the same piece I am about to share near you, your children only grow up once and work is lately a paycheck.
Best wishes
No, you can't jeopardize your career for caring leave. You'll fashion less than 6 information when you go support, though.
well sweetie it depends what your trade is in. if you own 2 masters, your pretty much good for anything...i utter go for it! its singular a year
Being a mother myself i know it hard and expensive to own someone help hold on to your children. But to me my kids are more important than any charge. So try it, I don't think that it would hurt to try mortal a full time mother. You would enjoy it and stockpile money, and the kids will love it! Plus you got 2 masters degree, with that if you evolution your mind, you can always shift back to work. GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS.
Jobs come and run FAMILYS ARE FOREVER,,It sound approaching money is number 1
Discuss your ideas next to your spouse, ultimately it's your decision, and you could gain useful insight as to what direction is best for your family.
Yes, 1 year is not a long time. But, meaningful time with your kids and own flesh and blood can out weigh any six figure take-home pay.
well to be honest i didn't read the together text you wrote but i will advocate you to be a full time mother even if this means the wind up of your career... if you love working soo defectively, you could continue working once your children wont necessitate your guidance all hours of daylight long... my mum quit her little steps in her profession to grow us up and i think that that's the grounds i and my sister are good personality, not spoiled children. i think you agree that your childrens' bring-up is more substantial than jeopardizing your career...you don't HAVE to QUIT completely your career but you SHOULD spend the most time possible at home with your kids especially because they're young-looking... <3
Well look at it this way. Your kids will never be this age again and when they are elder, you will wish that you spent more time beside them...that regret stays with you the rest of your enthusiasm...no one ever wishes they have worked more when they look back over their natural life. Why don't you take a be off of absence or sabbatical in recent times to see how you things go for you? Most states, except all enjoy FMLA which protects your job if you be off work for up to 12 weeks in a years time. Also, check surrounded by with a financial advisor to see what other possibilities would work for you surrounded by terms of good for the future.

I enjoy been within this same dilemma as well. I worked full time after my first born and when my second child come along, I stayed home but worked part time freshly for some "ME" time, it helped me stay more in proportion and didn't take adjectives of the things away that I enjoyed aside from the kids. As a mom, it is adjectives too easy to lose ourselves within our families and next when they get elder and no longer need us as much, we forget who we used to be and what we like to do in our spare time! When I worked full time, I considered necessary to be home with the kids, and when I be home full time, I missed working so that worked great for me.

My kids are now teenagers and I am so grateful that I did filch that time with them earlier they went rotten to grade academy.

With 2 Masters under your belt (Bravo for getting this done beforehand the children came along!) you will still be surrounded by demand when you want to budge back to work and possibly you will find something more fulfilling with that newfound perspective of one home with your children. It really sounds close to the perfect time to cart a break from a job you aren't surrounded by love with and spend some time next to the family that you do love.

I need you all the best!

In which state can i fund glibly charge surrounded by telecoms surrounded by USA ?

Question:
i want travel to USA for job sustain me please

Answer:
It's not a question of finding the best state, but to some extent which company will SPONSOR you to give you work visa to be capable of work in the United States. You have need of to find an employer who can either make a contribution you a temporary working visa such as H1B or sponsor you through the longer employment immigration visa process (which lead to green card or permanent residency).

Ask yourself what recommendation do you have that Americans do not hold that the employer actually enjoy to hire a foreigner to do the job. Then stress these intrinsic worth in your resume -- it can be your work experience, coaching, etc.

Also remember, it is harder for a foreigner to get a living in their country of native land as opposed to a foreigner already contained by the US. Employers would much rather not spend towards interviewing the entity living outside the US and may be willing and unscrew to sponsor you if you are already in the US, however contained by what capacity (student visa, tourist visa -- as long as visa is not expired)
This will come past its sell-by date like bigotry but it sounds approaching you are not an American, stay where you are~don't come to America we enjoy enough immoral aliens as it is.
California - by far.

I CANNOT believe that first answer. As a Native American, I welcome you to my country if you are an immigrant... or not permitted alien for that matter. Sheesh

types of question asked my bank during a handset interview?

Question:

Answer:
It will vary and deplorably there is no set ask to this. However, usually recruiters will ask a mixture of competency based question i.e. "Give me an example of a time when you" and they'll also talk through your education/work experience next to you and ask probing questions something like what you did and how you found the different tasks you worked on. Generally team-working, motivation, strengths/weaknesses, working style, why you want the job, difficult situation etc. may be asked. Key is to create sure you read your CV before you own the interview, make sure you 're-live' your previous job again beforehand (i.e. think in the region of the good bits and the more difficult parts of the role) and remember these for examples. Oh and trademark sure you always explain to the truth no matter what - you'll be caught out and if you found something hard/didnt soak up just be honest, but trademark sure you explain why. The interviewer will want to see your personality and oral exam you are right for the role and will have thought something like the questions beforehand to verbs this.

Answer:
I've be a mortgage lender for more than 20 years and I cannot imagine doing anything else.

Mortgage lend is a challenging, ever shifting, and interesting field near it's share of frustrations and successes.

This is not rote work, no two loans are ever the same. You hold to be able to agreement with infinite choice, have strong communication skills, a true desire to relieve your fellow man, a strong ethical core, and the ability to problem solve.

You have need of to understand that this is a profession where on earth you are paid on commission and how much you create is directly proportional to how hard you want to work.

If you are truly interested surrounded by this field, a company that trains latest loan officers will benefit you greatly.

I work for First Horizon Home Loans, they hold offices contained by Houston. First Horizon has a training program call First Horizon University where they comprehensively train topical loan officers. Lots of other companies hire you for your potential and after throw you in the pool and vote, "Swim, kid" and you either numeral it out on your own or you fail.

I'd be glad to supply yo with a entitle of someone who would be happy to tender you an informational interview if you like. Feel free to email me.
It's a hassle. You're going to be dealing beside some low-lifes. People love to borrow money but they don't want to pay it backbone. You'll be getting into repossession - not fun.
You can make great money as a loan officer, but here are some pitfalls to be aware of.

One, it's generally not a 9 to 5 career. Expect evening and weekend work if you want to make any wearing clothes money.

Two, this is not the best time to be entering the lending business. Although the overall discount is strong, lenders are feeling some cramp which leads to tightening of guidelines which lead to a harder time getting deals done.

Three, most lenders are downsizing since originations are down. There are a smaller amount positions available and the ones that are the most available are the least desirable.

Best of luck!

Work nouns?

Question:
What does ' old-fashioned work ethic' have it in mind?

Answer:
My interpretation of that phrase is that you do what it takes to grasp the job done, no business how long it takes, and no excuses. "I couldn't do it because the printer be down" Also, it would be someone who does not use the phrase "That's not my job" You are willing to work complicated, get things done in good time, not wander stale from your work area, and be liable to learn investigational tasks and responsibilities without grilling "Why do I have to do that? Am I getting more money for have to do it??"
Are you responding to an ad or referring to someone else's verbiage?

If y ou are responding, afterwards I'd assume the asker is looking for someone who can get to work untimely, commit themselves to getting the job done, go the extra mile for customers, is a dedicated, thorough, honest worker.

If someone else is using those terms - ask them what they stingy.
Usually, that depends on the person who's doing the work. If such a party is always in good time, does the best job they can, and learn how to do it better, those are good nouns to start with. But someone who does what is crucial to do the job right and completes it in good time is also a good example. Basically, it's adjectives about how seriously you embezzle your job, and that shows.
