I don't know around the unions surrounded by new zealand but contained by the US the electrical union and apprentice program are awfully good as all right as plumbing electrical is alot cleaner most of the time but there are those 100-125 amount attics full of insulation but the highest paying association in the states is the elevator association after a 4 year apprenticeship your base rate is 44.50 an hour surrounded by these parts all overtime is double time
The job are hard and require you to be highly focused because you can seriously hurt people if you screw up as an electrician.
They are also terrifically well remunerated, for those that make it to journeyman, because it is complex work and you can seriously hurt inhabitants if you screw up.
And WHY would someone not tell it similar to it is ?

Go backbone and ask more questions but I suggest you do not dawdle, various serious people are after those apprentice slots and they could be snatched up and gone while you are individual indecisive.
check what's more in constraint in your nouns maybe elctrician or cabinetmaking.electrician is the best but you have to find out when you can retire.I belong to the hearth rug union I can retire contained by 25 years if you are 18 it means you can retire at age 43.within electrical maybe you can retire within 35 years you have to do research.the single drawback in union is that you only go and get paid if near is work if it is slow you might have to retire subsequently.why don't you just progress to college and take a course which is within demand in attendance.good luck
