Well I am self employed. I 'sell" a product supplied to me. I set my own hours, write off my own expenses all the same the product, and training is always available to me by the co.

I was laid-off over 14 months ago and enjoy been unsuccesful contained by getting a new position. I've fixed to go fund to school at Rutgers University but hold been told that most of my credits (I enjoy 3 years worth of credits toward a BS in Chemistry) are too hoary (almost 20 years) and will not be accepted. Now I simply have to start from gash, but I can't afford another 3 years of school. There is not a heck of a lot that you can do next to a BA in theater. You could move about back to academy, acquire an MFA or a Doctorate and teach within a University. You could also apply to a college or university to get into a lecturer certification program to tutor in K-12. Other than that, it is lurk tables, progress to auditions and hope. One other possibility is going into politics.
What is you skill set? Are you a set designer, a writer, an actor, a prop man? Like beside any degree you want to list your skills on a sheet of dissertation and then you desires on another. Make a plan as to where on earth your skills would be needed. You are in LA, at hand are employment opportunities everywhere. You do not stipulation to be a food server. Work is something overrated. That's why the upper classes never used to do it. They know that there are better things to do. Just hang up in in that. Do what you have be paid to do, and soon the release will come.
Try to work to your best stratum. You may need a suitable reference from them within the future, so you don't want to tarnish it by appearing apathetic in the finishing few weeks.
Plus, I really hope not, but you may end up hate your new post and may need to jump back to this one, so it's best to hold it all sweet.

So, I had a great 3rd phone interview on Tuesday morning (10am my time, 8am hers). It go well she necessarily told me the only justification we were doing that interview be to make sure that I'd capture along with my direct supervisor/manager. She told me what she looked-for to offer me as far as pay packet and then said she have to run it by her director who was out of the department until yesterday. She said as long as everything went smoothly she would win back to me contained by 24-48 hours. She also said that after it's approved they would send me an extend letter, bright hire packet, etc. So...should I call her tomorrow (friday) or keep on until monday?!? Also, this has be a 3 month process so far. The company does no face-to-face interviews as everyone is based out of home office and travels 90+%.
