Employer agreement?
Question:
If your employer has you sign an agreement to stay for 2 years and work, contained by return for training and has it notarized by their own member of staff, without anyone explaining the agreement to you how valid is it and can they hold you to it when you hold a better offer to clutch employment that pays more and better benefits?
Answer:
Yes, they can hold you to it. They can sue you for the cost of training you, which could be more then you made. They may know how to include lost revenue while replacing you as well.
No one is responsible to brand sure you understand what you are reading. You should own done that before signing your nickname. To get out of a contract because you did not recognize you would have to prove they defraud you in some course.
You signed an agreement without have it explained to you or understanding it? Why would you ever sign anything resembling that?
You signed it of your own free-will and are obligated under the language of the agreement. Next time be a little smarter!
would own to read it to determine that. maybe you entail to ask a lawyer. do you hold a copy?
Yes. If you leave back you fufill your two year obligation, you will be required to reimburse the company for your training.
Good lord! I would conjecture that the contract would be invalid for so many reason Basically, it is against the values we hold as a free society. I say: receive the to a lawyer, angelic fellow!

Why do HR (Human Resource) individuals ask stupid question?
Question:
During job interviews HR populace always ask stupid question that are not related to the job you are going for. (e.g. baptize a project you have see through from start to finish? or what makes you stand out from the crowd?) Not one and only do these questions generate you feel uneasy the reply you contribute is usually just bullsh1t..so HR staff tend to exploit people that are worthy at bullsh1tting. Surely just chatting to someone and asking relevent duty questions would be a better theory?
Answer:
i agree ask something relevant to the job. Most of the answers we impart to them are what they want to hear not what we really feel or dream up most of the time. they always ask those type of question one would never ask themselves. It always starts near tell me a time when you have tougghh i hate those type of interviews.
to see if you cogitate on your feet beneath pressure.
QUITE RIGHT, & WHY AREN'T THEY PERSONNEL ANY MORE ??
There are no stupid questions! This is to see if you are friendly, competent to positively answer questions and can you buy and sell with situations that fashion you feel uneasy. Just turn with the flow and acquire hired for the job. If you still don't resembling it, try to find a way to become self employed and bring in a living with financial stablity. Prey going on for it!
well you nouns pretty disgruntled- did you have a fruitless interview lately?
these are expected questions so you necessitate to learn how to answer them, 3/4 of business is bullshittings so if an interviewer asks you a interrogate and you cant answer then how will you accomplish when someone calls you out of the blue beside a legit problem you dont know how to handle...will you freshly not answer them?)
the point of these questions is not necessarily how flawless your answer is but whether or not you can come up with a clad response in a short amount of time.
Those are typical across the board interview question. I believe they are found in the HR bible and broad used by those not creative enough to come up next to their own questions, tailored specifically to that company. This is one intention why it is recommended to practice before and interview.
Actually, "mark a project you have see through from start to finish?" can be a job related grill. If you helped an employer establish tentative procedures, mor helped set up the use of a trial software package, specifically a "project". Depending on what the position is you are applying for, both these questions could be accommodating to the prospective employer. They are also trying to see if you can think on your foot or outside the box. (whichever expression you like better)
It's not so much the question, or for that matter the answers you endow with, but the way you respond to the "silly" question which you will get contained by the job that matter. For instance, are you friendly, positive, do you make eye contact & express yourself in good health with confidence? Or do you sigh, tut, roll your eyes and dismiss the interrogate as pointless?
Frankly, you can make up your answer as long as it's relevant and you deliver it properly.
Cos they are INHUMAN and not very RESOURCEFUL
Having started a different job today, I hold had to ride out a fun packed sunshine of HR teaching me how to use ear plugs (um.. I work surrounded by an office?!), lecture us on the dangers of loose runner tiles (well someone might be carrying a computer, slip on the tile, fall down the stairs & produce a sever head inury as they dribble... how often hold you ever had to fetch a computer across an office? not tremendously often I bet!), how to lift up weights safely (as a woman I am not expected to lift a shipment of any more than 5kg so what about the 20kg sack of horse feed I own no trouble with lifting outside work?) and other mind blowingly boring things. I know everything comes down to insurance claims & companies making sure we can't sue them for negligance if an chance were to appear but come on, credit us all near a bit of common sense! I can't oblige thinking that alot of the time, HR people are worthless salaries and that they look for unnecessary things to bore the rest of us near to justify their role inside the company.
To some extent I totally agree with you, they are stupid question, especially when it's the positive response that you give that the HR own no understanding past its sell-by date.
The theory at the rear this sort of question is to sift further through your application form and CV.
The suggestion behind 'a project' is an opportunity for you as the interviewee to to explain your creativeity, time organization, team work skills and also to see you think more or less any mistakes you have made and how you rectify these.
Even though they are intimidating questions, it is your answer as entity that they are interested in. It is your ability and skills they are interested in.
'how you stand out contained by a crowd', again it is about you as a party, an individual. Not all companies want clone's. Some may want the individual thinker, the team player, the creative being.
I acknowledge the fact that at some interviews for some job they do seem a pointless give somebody the third degree, whereby there is no opportunity for movement, promotion, newly routine.
But the those whose choosen career, these tend to be standard question, they likewise probably enjoy no understanding of the charge that you are applying to do.
They need to ask indistinguishable questions as to ensure that respectively candidate is treated equally.
On a positive memo, think in the region of your skills, abilities and virtues. They do not always hold to relate to employment. Think of yourself as an individual, how you are with your freinds and relatives.
You may surprise youself at what your skills and abilities are.
Good luck
It's not going on for what you say but how you read out it. Everything you say and do surrounded by an interview influences the impression you dispense. If you go within, slouch down in your bench, look at the desk and mumble your answers, you're not likely to receive the job, even if you're the most experienced aspirant and the actual words you use to answer those "irrelevant" questions are the best. The interviewer requests to see confidence, professionalism and thinking on your feet. From the moment you bearing in the building until the moment you wander out, you need to convey those attributes.
Bullsi!ing storytelling lies, more lies, more storytelling back up with bul1shi!ng lies, lies, and storytelling, adjectives done with lots of eye contact, professionalism, thinking on your foot and being friendly, positive,& expressing yourself capably with 'confidence'.
Gets you adjectives the way to the top.
I'll be in motion along with that. Most lately I was asked what I could donate a particular hotel secure and responded, "Energy and Enthusiasm". In general this is true as capably as being concise and to the point. 6 weeks within I almost got myself sack for mouthing off at the hotel representative when I felt treated partially but now they know me and we respect one another. It is so much better to be interviewed by someone who have made their way up from the bottom rung of the stepladder - that way they've get some sense of who wants to work and who in recent times wants to t*t around and deed clever.

Help beside our boss!?
Question:
we have a boss who tries to control every bustle of our work, treats us like children contained by kindergarten, and eats, breathes and sleeps this career. We thought when she got married, she would enjoy a life, but that did not arise. She is almost 50 and did not get married until a couple of years ago. She is trying to turn us adjectives into "stepford workers".
She thinks we adjectives should do our work alike, even though we all own our system to do our work. She wants to detail us all how to do our job, but does not want to give any assistance. We do social work next to the public. She had to interview a client due to a worker self out and could not finish the interview. She came to me and asked me would I finish. Do you know why she could not finish it? She broke her fingernail! She dresses approaching a prima donna and doesn't think she is supposed to do instruction manual labor. We have be to her boss but because she is management, it is unobserved. HELP!!
Answer:
get a bright job
You can any find yourself a better situation or you can bite the bullet. Can you go greater than the supervisor you went to? It seem to me that if you stick it out for a while, maybe the upper citizens will notice exactly what is going on. I would scedule another appointment with the greater up and bring a list of what is going on that bothers you and achieve signatures by all other sulky employees. Then simply ask the supervisor to watch subtly for a few days. Perservere!
Have you ever thought of going on strike?! I mean, I know it's out in that but if EVERYONE did it, what could she do? She'd have no business to work beside with no workers. Just convince everyone to do it!
Wow, this is complex one. It sounds like she is severely demanding. Maybe get a petittion out and enjoy people sign it and agree that this is a short time ago work not life and emergency more respect from bosses. If that doesnt work try protesting. Or if you are really unhappy near your job and not a soul refuses to pitch and agree if your opinion I would just find a unmarked job.
Guess what? SHE'S THE BOSS, capture over it or else you won't hold a boss to btch aboutyou'll be in the laying-off line
i can't consider there's anything you can do...
good luck though
Should I quit my employment and be a stay at home mom?
Question:
I am a college graduate and have be at my current job for roughly 7 years. It is a pretty good paying living for my area but not great. My husband currently make about twice as much as I do and we are pretty financially protected. My husband has in recent times been offered a spanking new job making roughly speaking double what his current job pays. He have decided to run the offer. We enjoy two school aged children and are planning on trying for a babe-in-arms in the severely near adjectives. Should I quit my job to stay home near the kids and focus on trying to have another tot?
Answer:
Stay home! The best possible gift you can contribute them is to raise them yourself! They solitary grow up once, don't miss it!
You may find yourself better off financially, no child attention expenses, no commuting for you, no office wardrobe to purchase. You can cook at home more, from gash, which is cheaper and better for your family next what most two income families enjoy TIME to feed their kids.
Good luck beside everything!
yes . . .it's great. Just keep yourself busy. Take up a class within something you enjoy or want to swot up, stay social, keep your spirits up, seize involved with other moms at your children's academy, or even work part-time.
Being a stay at home mom is . . .rewarding long possession, but underpaid and underappreciated during the endeavor. Understand that you may see your husband differently if you are depending on him completely financially and more emotionally. I say this because it sounds approaching you've been at your current errand for a while and could have some friendships in that? Best of luck!
PS: just meditate how quickly you could stratum on RunEye.com! LOL
I would stay home. I am waiting for the day when my boyfriend comes home and say he is making double what he makes presently. i would love to stay at home with my Daughter and obtain to spend a lot of time next to her.
If you have a especially secure wedding ceremony and a good relationship next to your husband, I would strongly consider this option. The problem next to this situation is that being a "stay at home mom" can habitually effect the marriage contained by a negative channel. Suddenly, you lose your sense of self outside of your home and you may not feel as "interesting". You may start to resent your husband for not helping out as much since you are home adjectives the time and you may become mentally and physically exhausted and start to blame your husband for not helping out as much.
Staying home with children is thoroughly rewarding and also very taxing. Be sure that you negotiate roles and responsibilites hugely carefully next to your spouse before making this declaration. It isn't always give or take a few money.
I think you should stay home for a while to back raise the children, which I believe its a amazingly good entity. On the other hand I dont believe you should quit your duty because you dont know what will happen surrounded by the future. Your husband can lose his chore, or other emergencies so at tiniest have a subsidise up plan.
well I can articulate if you want okay.but thank about it befor you do it.
Yes, quit your post. That is what a lot of kids at the moment need...a stay at home mom. As long as you can afford it...to be precise the best thing you could ever do for your children.
Honestly I would enunciate no. I've seen a lotof women be tay at home moms and literally stir nuts. They eventually go final to work. If you want more time with your kids get hold of a part time available job while your kids are in academy and be there for them when they catch home. When you have the little one, than stay at home for a few months than go wager on. Whatever your decision right luck I hope everything works out for you.
I would quit my job. Just brand name sure you have plenty to do. I am a stay at home mom and it get hard to motivate yourself after a while. you find yourself on "RunEye.com" alot lol. If you relish your job I don`t know you can try and work part time for your mental stability.
I suggest you can rob a short term move off before decide to quit for sure, because there are some things you may want to consider. For example, Do you own a 401K account that he will be contributing to for your retirment as all right when you quit your job? Will you be responsible for adjectives the chores, kids homework, errands in the house, or you husband have still agreed to help you. If you wish to go put money on to school someday, will he clear for your education? Make sure you do hold something to fall hindmost on. You can always work quantity time, or work from home.
Why not. You do what you want to do. If this is not boring or you need more mental stimulation than the most of us, after maybe do some quantity time/casual work to keep your mind busy. But I find kids can clutch up so much time, and be mentally, emotionally, and intellectually stimulating in their own right. A lot of race look down on stay at home mums, but, personally, I estimate it's the stay at home mums that are responsible for the more stable and well rounded kids of today. Stay at home if that's what you really want to do. And Good Luck.
How do I grasp an internship at a hospital?

Zero hour contracts?
Question:
The company I work for has simply introduced zero hour contracts for some workers, they replace stopgap contracts that we may have have in times past. It means that the company can hail as these people within at any time or not at all depending on requirements. They do not own any benefits such as holiday or sickness pay. Is this legalized?
Answer:
from what i am aware you would still acrue holiday.
Most companies also have their own sickness policy - whereby you are unlikely to be salaried for the first 2 days and then statutory income thereafter, up to X number of days
I believe it is legal and is a approach for the company to ensure that they keep their grind costs down during quiet times
The sickness pay cheque is down to the company whether they offer this, but they would still be eligible to SSP after the 1st 3 days.
Holidays would still be accrue from the amount of hours worked, this should be done on a pro-rata'd basis
example
someone works
40 hours and they accrue 4 hours holiday
someone working 20 hours would accrue 2 hours holiday.
hope this make sense for you
