Forget going through the trade center. How about making flyers and have someone (or you can do it yourself) post the flyers around campus. I know at my school we other look at the bulletin boards, so I'm sure it's like this at other colleges too. Ideal locations would be contained by academic buildings, dorms, and especially the student center.
You can also try promotion through Facebook, b/c it will get more attention than if you do it through Mspace. I'm not sure of an exact price, but I devise it's around $5 or $10 dollars.
