I don't expect any age is too late to turn things around, but 22 is sure young plenty to make highest changes and even start adjectives over. A good tuition, acquiring the right skills, and a spotless journal from here on can overcome any bad start.
If you budge to college and really apply yourself I think you will do of late fine. There are probably some fields of study that will be closed to you- approaching teaching, I suggest. Talk to the school counselor roughly your situation. Also- maybe look into have your record expunged.

You really can't. It's vary irregular if they don't check into it. My sister has a setting like that, and it's taken her a looong time to prove herself to companies. She works for a polite company now, but have had to provide reference from smaller companies where she could do that much to show what KIND of member of staff she is etc..

Im surrounded by the UK and they don't really check your police record unless you apply for a skilled position like a nurse or something or if you want to work beside children etc. Here in the UK an employer cannot check your police account without you nourishing in a special form which allows them to do so.
