I've other told my kids that they should always remember one item in natural life - you are never stuck anywhere. Cut lawns, mop up cars, babysit, clean yard, sell on ebay, or give somebody a lift on a moonlighting job. Set goal for yourself (in six months I want to pay bad this credit card; in six months I want to own an emergency fund set up; in 12 months I want to enjoy a down payment for a saloon lease, in 24 months I want adequate savings stashed away so that I can walk out this town and start over again, etc.). If you need to increase your skills to get hold of a better job, next head to a community college and pick a profession of your choice. Good community colleges set you up for the chore market surrounded by two years time - check them out. Please don't despair. Sales is a good approach to get experience (furniture, electronics, etc), but if you're surrounded by a small town that might not be applicable to you. Any experience is good, conceivably just suck it up for immediately. A video store might be good, at lowest possible you don't need to button food.
