I'm not 100% sure this is still how it works, but, if you were employed as Saturday Staff you could do overtime and work during the week but you would still own to work on Saturday, possibly with a light of day off during the week. I doubt you would be capable of work all week and adjectives weekend. You would have to own one or two days off.

I'd approaching to share my experience. Currently, I am the Traffic (scheduling) Manager at our local station. And here's how I got in attendance.
The best way to gain into this field is from the bottom. Hate to utter it, but it's true. I started 2 1/2 years ago and have workd my path *way* up by coming in and asking cheerfully if they needed any voice work done. Radio stations can usually use voice talent, because it add spice to the station to not have indistinguishable staff voicing ads over and over again. Trust me, I know, our station have 10 employees!
