Call the circulation department of your local quality newspaper. Don't overlook community papers either- like those that lone publish once a week.
I just realize you said a "summer" job. Paper routes are not summer job. They are regular jobs. Some papers won't hire kids because they want adults who can drive and pilfer bigger routes- and be held to contracts. Still, give it a shot.
Since you are 14, you are restricted. An adult can bring back a route anywhere. You need one practical your home. You'll need to find out if they will bring the papers to your home, or if you inevitability to go seize them.
I have have routes both as a teen and as an adult. It is clad money- you won't get rich, but you can product a honest living and learn a large amount about responsibility.
In heaps ways, it is like a small business. You "buy" the papers from the weekly, then deal in them at a profit. You don't pay for them up front, and copious subscribers pay the thesis directly...but I think you take what I am saying.

If you want to deliver journalists, you have to be wary. You have to deliver the the media no matter what, weather or anything else. Newspapers also weigh a lot, my shoulder hurts because I wear a sling pack. You enjoy to make sure you deliver the right houses, some don't obtain newspapers and if you miss any,you will know. You could be bitten by a dog or hit by a coupé. Did you talk to your parents nearly the paper route?
Also, in that are not very frequent job option for a 14 year old. I suggest helping out near the lawn similar to mowing grass, pulling weeds, I don`t know you could help nick care of pets or lift up and sell earthworms.

In one of my college classes, we studied the history of the KKK and its presence within today's society. In the 1920's, Muncie, IN was the undisputed capitol of the KKK. Well, it's not like the millions of KKK member just disappeared when racism become unpopular. The one and only change is that they get better at hiding their racism and making it subtle, so that you can't make any decriminalized case against them for racism, but simply sense that there's something not quite right.
My best suggestion is to move away & look for a available job elsewhere. Racism is too deeply ingrained surrounded by Indiana culture, especially in Indianapolis & southern Indiana, that you will be forlorn even if you get offered a opportunity. I'm not sure where you are from, but contained by Indiana you go to your High School Guidance Counselor.
The Guidance Counselor at university will have the forms, you purloin it to your possible place of employment and have them enter the amount of hours you are going to be working, your parents hold to sign off on it and afterwards you take it rear legs to your counselor and he goes over it near your teachers and see if it will work for you. The job is not the problem- you take what you settle for. Instead of watching tv all afternoon, take the time to do some soul-searching roughly what you WANT to do (plenty of good books out nearby to guide you), and about your priorities. Or is it to do something you really enjoy and look forward to while making ample money to feel out of harm`s way and comfortable? If its the first, then you're contained by the right place.
