Masters level surrounded by Nursing... is it worth it?
Question:
My background is on computers but I will be shifting to Nursing. I will be attending a private institution and will be spending around one hundred thousand dollars by the time I graduate (Masters in Nursing). With that much to invest, Im starting to wonder if it is even worth it. I do know they put together a lot and is a stable opportunity. What do you think?
Answer:
If you hold the money to spend and if you really want this, I think its a great chore to pick. There is a big need for nurses and you will find a job speedily and you should not have a problem keeping it(honestly ever hear of a hospital closing?) So i would say do it!
My friends are Rn's and they clear good money, however, they still work alot of shifts. If its what you want to do, next do it. The Masters Degree will get you into a better position eventually, resembling administrative. Good luck.
Get a BS in Nursing. It will whip you a lot smaller quantity time.
Many institutions offer 2nd scope nursing programs that can get you contained by and out in 14-18 months.
I am working on this myself. I want to get the prerequisites surrounded by before I apply (Anatomy & Physiology, Micro, etc)
Good luck doesn`t matter what way you deside to travel.

I was asked when I would be equipped to start work and if I would be able to travel for training. Does this close-fisted they found me suit for the position? Appreciate your help. Regards.
Answer:
They are probably looking at you as a serious competitor and want to know your availability. It however does not ensure that you have the errand. Other factors resembling salary might still lead to an offer to leak through, or that another candidate can touch their needs better.
Good Luck
No. It may show they are very interested surrounded by you for the position, but it is really just more information they stipulation to chose the right person.
Not nessessarily . I would assume they are asking most applicants that . They likely enjoy an idea of when they want the position full up . GOOD LUCK TO YOU !
Not necessarily. A lot of interviewers ask questions approaching these and then don't progress on to chose that candidate for the position.
Can any1 counsel on how to gain a portfolio done to persue modelling...?
Question:
any suggestions, do's & don'ts, what kind of photograper to choose, any counsel really from u all who is contained by this field or have any experience
my additional details probably arn't impressively helpful but hope u catch an idea from my grill as to what i am asking.
any suggestions or links, detailed answers, ur experinces etc will be helpful
couldn't integer out which category to put this in...
Answer:
I one-sidedly believe you need to gain reference to a trusted professional camera man who specialises in producing the type of portfolio/photos you want and have plenty of examples, and pay the professional price for professional results.
There are far too various sleazy amatuers willing to gross money by you hiring thier services or by actually selling your photos, or glory forbid wanting more from you for thier personal collection in exchange for setting you up beside a few holiday snap shots.
Take a "chaparone" preferably male if dealing near male photographer. The "my boyfriend" splash or even "My mum/dad" would put off potential sleaze balls)
Reseach other "successfull models" portfolios; you can draw from glimpses of a few of the photos from a look at the agency hiring webpages. You should be looking at photos for the line of modelling you want to do, look at the location, models clothing everything, build up from this a clear imitation of what you would change how you would manufacture it better, then seize a photographer to assist you. A good Pro could stockpile you this leg work and actually direct you, but it would be far more prized to yourself
Don't sign anything you do not read and understand,
Hope to see you soon.

It's my knowledge that when you approach an agency, and if they are interested, they will fund a professional portfolio. You should just own several pictures. perhaps taken by someone close so they are candid, possibly presented in a nice album. They articulate, if you are true model-material, a portfolio will be one of the first things done for you upon being permitted by a reputable agency. Good luck to you.
look at onemodelplace.com (or .org I can't remember)
They have photographers feeling like to take pictures FOR FREE to overrun up their portfolios (they need experience) (PLEASE HAVE A FRIEND GO WITH YOU JUST IN CASE, SOME ARE WEIRDOS)
On the website they own modeling jobs also, among other things
Job application question? Please support?
Question:
I picked up a job application and I own never filled one out. Theres a few question on there which I don't know what to put close to it asks when could I start, but I can start at any time they need so what do I put? It asks what my take-home pay requirements are and I don't care, I lately want to get hired so really I don't hold any preference on how much I receive paid. It asks if you've have any previous jobs and I help out at a donut shop owned bu family and I just helped out for around a week so should I list that? And who can I register for preferences? It asks for three so do I need three? Thanks for any facilitate.
Answer:
You put down that you can start immediatey.
For salary only put down that you can discuss that during the interview. Don't act approaching you don't care what you obtain paid because they could of late low ball you. Ask them during the interview what they are paying for the duty and then if that sounds okay beside you then of late say you are fine near the salary.
For the experience don't exactly not tell the truth just put down assisted at household donut shop part-time. During the interview you can a moment ago say you did atypical jobs within but you don't have to communicate them you only worked for 1 week.
They want References not preferences. As you haven't have a lot of experience simply put down you can provide the references during the interview as okay. You would probably want to ask 3 people you know (if you are youthful maybe a lecturer you once had or elder relative). With no work experience you would they would just be giving persona references a bit than job reference.
Good Luck.
First question, put "Now". Second put somebody through the mill, put "Open" or research what the market pays for that position near little to know experience and put that amount. Third question, yes you have need of 3 references. The final press you had, don't put that. Consider index your educational highlights instead.
When it asks when you can start, put any today's date or "immediately". Whatever the minimum wages are for your state, calculate roughly 50 cents more per hour. Wages are negotiable. It doesn't indicate that what you put down for salary requirements is what you're going to attain. You may just draw from minimum wages. Don't put down the donut shop. If you didn't get rewarded or didn't have to sign a tariff form to collect a paycheck, then don't put it down. Because they are going to look at that and see that you one and only worked for a week. That's going to tell them that you probably won't work for them for impressively long. And they may not bother even hiring you. If they do an interview about your application, afterwards you can tell them in the region of helping out at your family's donut shop. As for references, put down empire that have particular you for a while (not family). You can use school teacher's, anyone you own babysat for, church minister, etc. Some employers don't even telephone those people for reference. But just contained by case they do, you want to donate them people's names that are going to supply you a good referral.
Start date: unfurl, or available ASAP
Salary requirement: leave blank; discuss within the interview
Previous jobs: record it or not, one week is not going to make much difference
References: you don't enjoy professional references, so you will call for to list personal reference - friends, teachers, pastor, etc. No nearest and dearest members.

Question:
i'm 18 and i wanna start waitressing, but i know they dont get remunerated too well,so i`m thinking of going somewhere where on earth they will tip me well. i thoght strip clubs or fancy restrauants
Answer:

There are big grill and steak houses in Atlanta where on earth a waitress can get day by day over $200 in tips. It does nto enjoy to be a strip cub or a fancy restaurant.

Do you love your ex?
Question:
even though you would never admit it to your partner.
do you ever stop loving someone you really love and is this wrong ?
Answer:
If you still love them consequently that is a sign you really necessitate to give yourself a bit more time since getting into another relationship. Its not really fair on you current partner; wouldn't you aversion it if he was still pining over his ex?
hell no lol ...
no i dont.
NO WAY to be precise why he's my ex
why is this posted in career and employment?
do u want to hire a hitman?
depends
ive got a couple of exes that yes i do love and regard as about on occaison
and others hell no, consent to em rot
I dont necassarliy love my Ex, but I do have sort of thaw feelings towards her. IMHO you can't stop civilized for someone. There must have be some magic at hand at some point.
No, I despise the *****, that's why she's my ex.
i don't think you should fetch on loving them, but i certainly dont assume you should hate them any.
If you loved someone once i think you should lately have nice, jovial memories of them!
Absolutley.
I am currently married, and have be for 5 years. Though I would never admit to my wife, I do still love my ex's respectively for their own things.
Not one of them was a fruitless person, we merely were not pious together, and for the same reason i fell in love beside them in the begining, I still love them presently.
In my view, you never stop loving someone once you started. Because of this I do not regard it is ever wrong to admit (at most minuscule to yourself) that you still love your ex(s)
I dont love him but I am always pretty nosey as to what he is doing, for some weird grounds and we have be split up 9 years.
Well in my judgment, yes I think so. I sure have moved on and stopped have feelings for my ex . I hold a new partner, fiance should I voice, who I have be with for 2 and a partially years now and I am surrounded by love even more so with him than Ii be with my ex - ex be my first boyfriend and I was next to him for 5 nearly 6 years until he cheated on me with my best friend, the B******! Anyhow it took a long time, but I get over him and losing my best friend and now I am happier than I own ever been since. So really, he did me a favour by cheating on me!!
To answer the cross-question properly there would involve to be a definition to the word love and an accurate way of measure it.
With all relationships where on earth you were contained by love, there must be a small even tiny amount of foreboding still there even when the break be bad.
This could resurface when you remember something great you did together such as a daytime out or a holiday, it's not just looking hindmost with fondness, or is even that love to an extent?
I still own feelings for a coupe of ex-girlfriends, not that i would dance back to any of them ever, but the feelings are in attendance no matter how minute they are.
I'm sure we adjectives do, it's just a luggage of wether your willing to grant it to yourself.
I am 25 years old and hold been married for 4 months, and if I'm honest I still 'have feelings' for my ex from stern when I was 17/18. I of course wouldn't say I be in love beside him but I still have unbelievably fond memories of the time we spent together, we split up because we wanted different things out of go and there be no animosity between us. I think things might diverge though if we had split up on fruitless terms, for example, if one of us have cheated.
However - as innocent as I know that these feeling are, I wouldn't communicate my husband about them. I know that I wouldn't close to it if he told me he still had atmosphere for any of his exes.
I do sometimes wonder if I look back at our relationship beside rose-tinted glasses because he be the first person who I fell within love with?
P.S. Why Careers and Employment?
hmmm you know sometimes i wonder like peas in a pod thing. i don't love my ex but i still presume of him sometimes .....i don't love him but truefully i wish things done better.
I wouldn't say "love" but I do still keeping about my ex. We own 2 kids together, there be a time I was "within love" with him, but things adjust, people tuning and the type of love can change. I'm remarried and my ex be at my wedding! My ex's gf and I gain along great and I can't wait until he marry her, she's great with the kids and a positive influence...
Yes, it's an unusual situation, but the kids are our top priority and near all of us getting along the kids are thrieving, and we verbs the hell out of teachers, coahes and other parents!! LOL
Um.. I don't know if I love her... We split up for the most part because I had to vacate the country... Although our times together were short and brief, at hand is something special there!
She is such an amazing girl, to be honest, I miss her deeply much... but I don't think we will carry back together anymore... We met at the wrong times of our enthusiasm... She is most special to me... Missing her a lot

If you were contribute a second chance to choose a through or a career, what would you choose?
Which occupation do you think will hold better upcoming futures? from money , job opportunity, income, time put in, etc aspects, and why?
What would you recommend someone to choose as a art in the adjectives?
Thanks a lot for adjectives your help and time,
Answer:
choose pharmacy. not solely it will give you opportunity for professional development and advancement, it will give you a soaring paying job as okay, and you'll make more than nurses do. the stipulation for pharmacists in the US is illustrious right now.
Do what you love to do that requires a giant degree of expertise and the money usually will easily flow to you. What do YOU want to do? Forget about the money for a second and the external financial environment and focus on what you personally want to do. Again, the money will be near if you develop a high scope of expertise in your pen.
Actuary Science- if you love numbers- They start around $70,000 right out of college(usually a 5 year degree). As you pass more test you get more bonuses. Insurance companies other make money, so livelihood security is within.
IT jobs would be my second choice.
Good luck
Is it better to email an elderly boss to ask for a insinuation or to send for?
Question:
I havent spoke to my old proprietor in almost 6 years, is it better to email for a mention or to call?
Answer:
i would ring up, but you should have talk to him or kept in touch so he would remember you. Since 6 years enjoy passed he may not have remember adjectives you have done for the company. Its best to speak to your references on you resume at lowest 1 to 2 times a year.
Normally I'd say name but since you have not spoken within 6 years you can probably do either. Better hope your antediluvian boss is still there.
give the name. best way!
Call your boss, they love to hear from outdated employees especially if you gone on good expressions and just firstly ask how things are going and later when you get into conversation purely say capably the reason you are callin is
By adjectives means CALL. You're asking for a favor, and one that they don't hold to grant. If you're asking for them to nick the time to talk to other potential employer, you should at least lug the time to pick up the phone.
Its better to call. Its much more personal. You should at tiniest have for a time personal chit-chit about how things hold been etc.
I would read aloud call. how comfortable do you surface talking to him. I own found when you email peopel its easier for peopel to ignore your inquiries. If you phone they will be put on the spot and say yes.
Call...chat...ambush up...etc then bring back to the point.
Calling is always a better agency than e-mailing, especially when you need a citation. And many manager find it flattering when you call and are glad to support. And if you do that, you can use your old negotiator for reference surrounded by another 6 years as well.
I'd phone call, but it's your choice.
Call him. hell remember you better and give a better suggestion. emailing can sometimes be rude, especially if you havent talked to him within that long.
it's been so several years so you should call him. it would solitary be polite of you, after all you are asking something of him.
When I am within college this fall down, I also plan on getting a available job surrounded by....?
Question:
something I enjoy, something nice and undemanding, too. Answer:

How do I do A agenda modification as a supervisor, When the policy does not travel document it?
Question:
What I have is an hand that has worked for me for reasonably sometime, on Saturdays, and the issue of him taking off on Saturdays due to informative plans, How do I accommadate him when the schedule surrounded by not that flexible?
Answer:
Think creatively and get the member of staff to assist you in coming up next to a solution. Sit the employee down and discuss near him the problem, ask him for solutions. Why? Because it shows the employee what a royal cramp his decision to bring schooling on Saturdays is and maybe subsequent semester he won't do it. Legally it shows that you are willing to work out a solution, if here even is one. He cannot come back and say aloud you discriminated against him.
If you need someone to do this living on Saturday, perhaps your member of staff can get another co-worker to cover for him. In frequent 24-7 businesses workers will make agreements near each other to cover for holidays, birthdays, etc.
Get a temp to cover Saturday next to the understanding that this is the later semester you will put up with Saturday classes and in that probably will be no raise to cover the temp costs.
Tell your member of staff he must make up the work he missed doing on Saturday. Without knowing your business it is firm to answer. I have allowed organization to come in 1 hour precipitate, work through lunch, and stay 2 hours late to bring in up lost time and work.
Good luck.
if there is someone above you try chitchat to them to see if you can change it and how. otherwise, i am afraid that you will own to follow policy.
just my inference. hope this helps.
Job Interview follow up?
Question:
April 11 I had a undertaking interview that I felt go well. They said it would be around 2 weeks since they called anyone. The light of day after the interview I mailed thank you parcels to my interviewers. After two weeks and one day I call and spoke with the HR being who interviewed me and she indicated that they had gotten put a bet on logged and said it might be another week or so before call went out. Tomorrow would be the conclude of that third week. I'm anxious and am tired of waiting, but I understand in attendance isn't much I can do. Would it be a good concept to send an email to my interviewers only just saying thank you again? I thought around saying something approaching "Thank you for taking the time to interview me, and I look forward to speaking to you about this opportunity again."
Good/bad? Help!
Answer:
I own done this before and it have seemed to facilitate, they could really be backed up, I be a supervisor at my last post and I know how it is when you get a bunch of resumes afterwards have a bunch of interviews, it could cart up to a month sometimes to get someone hired...GOOD LUCK to you!!
By approach of credentials, I ran an employment agency within CT and have written a couple college courses on employment. With that said, yes, do distribute an email with the languge you proposed. It will do no spoil and may help. Good luck.
I would enunciate no leave it as if they havent contacted you contained by three weeks chances are you haven't get the job and the dear john i am sorry missive has not come out but as the staff is backlogged. What i would do to be sure is phone the company and ask if the position you applied for had be filled nonetheless. Dont send another thank you, it make you lok like you are sucking up
i ponder you should move on and hold interviewing. heres ahelpful suggestion, when i was work searching i found it be hard to attain a response without a pave the way hunter (employment agency). When i had one I get hired instantly, why? bc they pestered and hounded them about my certificate to get a straight answer. I dont give attention to they want you bc if they did they wouldnt wait 3 weeks... Try getting a come first hunter and it will work in your benefit bc they can negotiate a top stipend, ideal position and speak as a insinuation on your behalf. Plus they get salaried by the company for finding you.
I wouldn't thank them again, you have already done that, they might guess you are trying to suck up. I would give it the two afternoon rule...By tomorrow if you haven't heard anything, I would distribute an e-mail or maybe call for just to do a follow up on your interview.
How much money would you wages?
Question:
to be able to be in motion home from work right now (if you are at work)
Answer:
zilch, can leave any time... but would pay envelope someone to carry me home on their spinal column
nothing, i'd to some extent stay at work and get remunerated
If I like the work I wouln't want to shift home early,I guess you dont really similar to yours lol
Nah, I'd rather stay here and earn loads more money - it'll kind the weekend that much sweeter when I get at hand.
You have no money cz you'll be fired.
if i be that desperate, i'd just verbs a sicky. back dull pain is always correct.
A day's wages, but it's never going to happen - much better basically pulling a sicky!
Na too skint. I prefer to sit here and pretend that im working
one million pounds...but it would be paid to myself as i work for myself, so in consequence i can go home when i want, for free!!
Nothing. I'd to some extent stay here. If I go home I'd lose a day's repay and that's not worth it. I'd love to go home but not if it costs me.
Nothing today as it isn't sunny! I would enjoy paid I don`t know a tenner yesterday as it was nice and sunny!
I'm on extreme OT (128 hrs) right in a minute, so I think my boss would in reality pay me from his private accounts to dispatch me home just to collect face at the budget meeting.
Zero! That's why it is called work. If you cogitate about it that would hiding the whole purpose. No issue how bored or tired of work you become, you are still getting paid for it.
Why would you want to repay to go home? There are abundantly more free ways of going home.
prefer to stay at work...unless i was have a really miserable day...........get hold of to the top of the ladder and may be later i can become choosy if i want to work or take a light of day off!
Nowt. Not have such a bad time today actually. Right presently aI'm getting paid to be on Y/A!
Anyway, I progress to work to get salaried. Me paying not to go to work is sort of against the unharmed point. I'd be broke within a month!
Should I receive a commission?
Question:
my parents say if i want a sports car i should get a career....
right now i ahve a 4.0 gpa (im a sophmore)
my coach think i might have a accident at 1-2 wrestling state championships
apparently a job would purloin away from both of these....a car would give support to me get my first girlfriend though.......
Answer:
You hold to decide what is most key to you... Is getting a girlfriend more important than have a great future? Girlfriends come and move about at your age, but to get a physical partner you will need a polite job and the best route to do that is to grasp a good coaching. Do you really want a girl who cares nearly your car and not roughly speaking you?
If you need a sports car to get the girl, you're any lacking contained by self-esteem, which you shouldn't be, or the girls you are interested in one and only want you for your car. Why would you want to date a girl close to that?
Um I would say if the lone reason you are wanting a motor is for a girl I would say NO...You enjoy a great GPA and that is noteworthy if you plan on going off to colleage
You are still childlike so if you do work I would do it maybe every other saturday and Sunday and after durning the summer.
My daughter is a sophmore and she works every other weekend and durning the summer of course she will work more hours. She doesn't hold a car of her own but we share both of ours near her. (insurance stinks now next to her on it but oh well)
Don't worry around getting a car unless you really want it. Any girl who only requirements you for your car is not worth your time.
