Does going to work consistency more resembling a prison sentence to you?

Question:
or am I just grumpy today?

Answer:
It used to, and I'd verbs sickies as often as I thought I could get hold of away with it, and going backbone after a holiday was worse than starting Autumn possession at school, but after I thought to myself:

"You only live once, Psymon, and realistically you're not the brightest guy within the world, but you're reasonably intelligent and you're still purely 40 years old, so capture out and do something you enjoy more. Take a risk."

And that's what I did, and I set up a company contained by partnership with a friend of a mobile 'Fun Casino' as entertainment at corporate events and private party. Now I look forward to going out on 'gig', and all the stab we put in is for our benefit simply, and not for a conglomerate of rich share-holders who are only interested within increased profits and dividends.

Wow, I obviously needed to gain that off my chest, I be just going to influence:"I used to" and enigmatically leave it at that. You carry a star for your subtle personal counselling.
yep going to work is like prison unless i delight in it.
no, going to school does :(
You're workshy. Or in the wrong undertaking. Or both.
If you liked it too much they'd probably want you to pay packet them.
I'm giving you a star to make you grain better and also for the fact that you touched on matching feeling I enjoy everyday I trudge in here. My most important reason to work is to support my bunnies. Seems resembling a vast majority of ppl can`t bear their job but merely do it since they have to. Congrats to those who certainly like their work.
everyday. because of why i do it - not because i delight in it, but for the money. which isn't that much, but i have to, you know? what's the alternative?
No I love my chore.
Yes i hate my living! And as i work evenings i have adjectives day to contemplate - 'oh ****, i have to dance to work later'
LOL
I hear ya, but it pays the bills and most of the time I enjoy getting out of the house and man around other people except my cat...LOLCheer up! - it'll get better and it's definitely better than the alternative of NO job!
ugh I antipathy working so much! I can't believe I went to college to sit at a freaking desk adjectives day I abominate it I hate it I dislike intensely it. And I'm grumpy too.
Only for those who work in a employment they can't stand, and have no prospects anywhere else.
At the moment, because I'm doing something I don't want to be doing. However, when I qualify as a barrister I'll be doing what I want to do, and I'm looking forward to it!
Working is what kill the mind.
My mom and I would call that Workitis. And some days
it does be aware of like a prison sentence. Especially on
wonderful days when you could think of a million things
you would to some extent be doing.
yes.each year i spend there seem like a prison.it is a nowin situstation.they more you do,the more they want.and they never appricate anything you do.
Yes, it most sure does. I hate it and can't belive I may hold to do this for the next 40 years of my enthusiasm! Am looking around but any job I might be interested contained by involves taking a huge pay cut and jepodising my mortgage payments. It's swings and roundabouts really.
Sounds close to you need to find a bright job. Seriously, you spend a appropriate chunk of your time at work, so you need something that will stimulate your mind, take home you happy, hang on to you interested. It is a long life if you can`t stand what you are doing. Good Luck!
LOL I don't know if you're grumpy, but perhaps you're surrounded by the wrong job. I have factory jobs that feel that way. Fortunately, I be able to work my channel through nursing school and loved my work. In the 80's, I worked as a nurse on a neurology floor within a hospital and used to look forward to going to work. It was interesting and the crew I worked beside were wonderful.

If you have a feeling this way more than newly occasionally, it's time to do some thinking about profession changes. Good luck.
it is like thing if your mind is not free. we are underneath the illusion that we are free, we will not conquer our greatest capabilities lower than these false pretenses.
I certantly felt approaching it was a prison sentence, when I started working surrounded by beginning of 1990. I did instruction book labour at first. It be hard, unsatisfactory, borring work. So I go back to university. Now, I feel I am out of prison and I am persuing a carrear that I am interested within.
It is never too late to do something you resembling, is my motto.
well yeah perchance but people desires to work all our lives contained by order to live. we can't do anything almost it...it is tiring of course but this is a short time ago the way it is...piece of warning, just estimate of how soon is your payday then estimate of your plans in spending it..it might serve as an inspiration..perfect luck_c",)
sure does
no
it's all obedient
it used to, so i left an completed up with a charge i love.
It is time to start looking for any another job, I Think
hell yeah
u enjoy to go approaching u have to move about to prison
i dont wanna work i wanna be a free spirit so what i please
It's very complicated today.
Yes it does, because I hate my career but not nearly as much as I hate some of the dribbling cretins that I hold to deal near on a daily foundation.

Roll on 5 years time when I can retire and get away from it adjectives.
I have feel like this within some of my positions. It means that you are contained by the wrong job..could be that you are adjectives out or have literary enough...could be that you are surrounded by family that are negative. You enjoy choices: stay and suffer, or use all of your sparetime to verbs. Take a class, join clubs, volunteer, anything that will instigate your mind and put you in touch next to others that are willing and competent to teach you.

Apply for everything specifically somewhat of interest, if you decide--or they decide that it is not a right fit you have at most minuscule got experience to do a better interview. Good luck.

Anyone worked or used to work for RGIS?

Question:
Im working at rgis right now and its okay,Its only that i want other peoples opinions on how they resembling the job and do you fathom out it well?

Answer:
RGIS,can be a fun place to work, but I know some one that worked with them along time ago, and be obligated to travel out of town and they hadnt paid exceedingly well for travel time, so hours of daylight care be like impossiable, also riding next to some one you dont know to well can be death-defying,and had be an obligation.
I know two ethnic group who used to work for RGIS. They hated the post. My sister hated it due to the graveyard shifts that they have and lack of stores they give her. My friend hated it because they changed the rules when he get hired. You have to show up for work every hours of daylight when you're schedule. If you miss soon of work, you'll get an unexcused bunking off. If you get 3 unexcused absence, you will be in grounds of dismissal. That is the crucial reason why he quit. My sister quit because she be not getting in work and cannot fiddle with the late dark graveyard shifts.
The job is unsophisticatedly count and scan inventory merchandise in the stores. I did used to work for them and I detested it because I worked the graveyard and it was a seasonal career. So, my advice to you is turn find yourself a better job so you can work year round.

I've applied for numerous job and havent even gotten one call for - why might that be?

Question:
Each one I applied for I was faultlessly qualified for according to their demands. I dont understand why I havent at smallest been call in for an interview. Im not desperate but Im purely feeling for a moment bit rejected lol.

Answer:
How many of those places hold you followed up with? (I can answer that...none.)

Follow up near a phone call to whoever is making the interview conclusion and get yourself an interview.
It may be your resume.
There is probably a great emergency for the jobs you are interested within. A large amount of ancestors may be more appealing. Sorry. Try and try again, someone will be lucky enough to hire you.
you not mortal specific about the grazing land you applying for
and you may THINK you are perfectly qualified for
but if they own not called you pay for
then unmistakably you are not perfect
as someone else is
near more experience
and a better background
and probably more amicable
It's adjectives about presentation of your application. It is not the most qualified character normally that get an interview but the one who makes an action to stand out with their application. Make it something special, creative and the employer will want to see who you are. Also make sure spelling and sentence structure are good.
every opportunity i got,IT WAS FROM MY CALL-BACK.
show them you indicate business.take the initiative.they look for that at adjectives times.sometimes i called fund and talked to everyone within the office so they adjectives knew who I be.and guess what?i got the available job.works every time
You probably need to repeat your resume. As a person who have reviewed resumes there are two things I don't close to. Long winded resumes that are 3 to 6 pages long and resumes that are disorganized next to typos that contain jobs that are irrelavent to the postion that they are apply for, unless as expected they were contained by the postion for 5 or more years. This shows "staying power" and odds are they widely read to work as a team player.

Your best bet for a Functional resume is this

Personal Info: Make this your header on your page and center it.

Skills and Abilities: This is where on earth you list your specific skills for the career and other abilities that would be encouraging on the job. Put these contained by bullet form:
*Proficient with MS Office, Access and Outlook
*Excellent typing skills
*Team Player
*Work in good health with others or indepedenlty as required
*Professional, hardworking and reliable

Work Experience:

2003 - 2005 ABC Company Anyplace, State

Duties: Supervised staff on long permanent status projects. (Think about what your duties be and summarize it here, not too long)

Supervisor: Jan Doe

Education: Use the same format as Work Experience

Awards/Accomplishments: List these here same format as above.

Volunteer Activities: Same format

References: Use three Supervisor/Manager, Co-worker and personal suggestion.

Look on the net or check Microsoft Word On-line for template.

Good Luck.

Can they rob your overtime away?

Question:
you worked 40 hours can they take your overtime channel if you were not asked to stay if you merely worked 41 hours

Answer:
40 hours is considered a standard work week. It is not overtime. Your employer can give you the extra time past its sell-by date in lieu of reimbursement and is perfectly allowed. However, they have to wage you in some agency, shape or form if you worked overtime hours.
I believe federal and state laws within the US require an employer to pay time-and-a-half for any time worked over 40 hours contained by any one workweek. You should be paid for the extra hour worked, whether you be asked to stay or not.
No a company can not take away overtime. Even the company have a policy for its employee to not work overtime. They can however suspend you for a daylight for working overtime against company policy. If you have 41 hours on your time card you should be rewarded 40 hours regular time and 1 hour overtime. This is assuming you are an hourly employee, logically. If you are salaried you are not entitled to overtime.

Search the Internet for "wedding planner associations." Then contact these organization for information about training and documents. Here are two examples:

Not almanac autograph of employer on resume??

Question:
I am looking at someones resume and they do not mention the names of any of their employer. They use phrases such as "worked at local domestic practise law firm" or "worked surrounded by small family owned flooring & contractor supply store" etc. It go on and on. Is this something I should bring up to the applicant or should I pass up the resume altogether?

Answer:
This style of resume is really for exceedingly highly trained associates where the.. who they worked for... is not as central as the what they know how to use...
Like
Trained and worked with a Rohde & Schwarz FSH3 spectrum analyzer for four years!
or
responsable for P&L AR/AP of 5 million per quarter!
(as surrounded by a listing for clients who are confedentual)

I see that greatly for the Cisco Systems people
Cisco's are the rugged core network admin's they will roll all their certs and the equipment they hold worked with...
this is not really they type of resume for regular people..

Unless your trying to staff a extraordinarily tech job and involve to know they can operate a nuclear power reactor I'd just verbs...if they contact you then you could ask them to resubmit
If you are otherwise impressed beside the credentials I would arrange an interview and ask specifically for the names. Otherwise, you could a short time ago write to him or her and ask for professional references. If they next prove not to match up near past employer, then you know in that is a problem.
I'd say it's up to you. I WILL say-so, however, that for the last 13 years I hold not listed the designation of the companies where I worked, and hold had great nouns with my resume. In some ways perhpas he/she is using it as an eye catcher. If you telephone him/her in for an interview base on curiosity then it worked. Every time I interviewed (and get offers) my "unconventional resume" be brought up. That inspired me never to change it.
I would ask the applicant to riddle out the application again. An application's purpose is to give you mission history and you can't do that without the previous employer's name(s).
you enjoy to getthe attention of the applicant on this. the SOP is to mention the specific company name

I involve proposal please?

Question:
I recently get a new errand in Finance, I be looking for a new career and desperatly needed one, because I was out of a job from my previous job, which be in Marketing/Consumer Prodcuts. As I sent out resumes I be not getting the responses I thought I would....so I took this job contained by Finance. Its been 2 weeks and very soon all of a sudden I received 2 call for interviews for jobs I have applied for beforehand.

What should I do? Should I go to these interviews? What should I inform my new boss who is extremely nice. Should I hail as out sick when I go to the interviews? THere is one profession that I am really interested in knowing in the region of....and they want an hour of my time....I feel so guilty. Waht should I do? Also, I perceive obligated to this job that I a moment ago got and own been working for. The undertaking I am at now is ok...but its not my eagerness. Please advise...gratitude so much!

Answer:
It always happen that way, as soon as you go and get a job adjectives of the other places that you have applied to adjectives of a sudden want to call you contained by for an interview.
If i were you, i would take home sure that i get an interview time precipitate in the morning; if the hiring co. is really interested within you they will work with you on that. Simply enlighten your boss that you are having coup¨¦ trouble, i.e your car will not start.
Go to the interviews first....than consider it.
ably tell your boss going on for this....if he is nice then he will permit you check them out and go to the interviews.....if this isn't your excitement then check out the other places and see if that catch your passion.......run to the interviews.....if one of them is your passion put in the picture your boss and maybe he will be nice ample to let you try it out or anything for a few days......go for it!!

HOPE THIS HELPS!
I would at least possible go to the interview for the work that interests you most.

Your feelings of necessity to your current employer are admirable. However, if you desire to quit to 'follow your passion" keep within mind that they still have the resumes of the other applicants, and can plausible get up to speed suddenly on filling the position.

Besides, possibly you go to the interview, and the assignment is not the job of your dreams, or they don't present you the position. If that happens, you don't own to make any big decision, and you won't wonder for the rest of your career what you might hold missed.
Be honest and explain the situation to your boss. Tell him you want to go to the interview. It is better for the boss to know so he can be prepared contained by case you do want to accept the bright job. He requests time to find a replacement for your position. Do not burn any bridges behind you when you move out one job for another. Always bestow on good vocabulary. You never know when you might want to come back.

Summer is almost here what should the ac be set at?

Question:
I work in a dune behind the banker line and here is no air circulating. All the window need to be closed and we enjoy windows on the ceiling, so deeply of sunlight comes in which heat up the lobby. Most of the girls complain that it's too cold and I feel resembling it's too hot. The temperature is other raised at 76 degree F. When I ask them to lower the temperature a few degree to have some nouns circulating, since it is so stuffy in the building, their adjectives complain it's too cold. I've brought blouses with short sleeves tried wearing thinner bits and pieces clothes, but it's still not working, it's still too damn hot within here. And to top it all sour, I get constant headaces from it individual to stuffy and hot. Any suggestions, and a fan is not legitimate.

Answer:
Usually the majority wins...You could ask for ceiling fan, which I am sure will be rejected too. But nothing venture, nothing gain.

76 degrees would be too hot for me too. I would guess a atmosphere temp for summer in a guard would be around 73. You have nation in/out all time and letting in the hot nouns and the drive up windows.

Just a suggestion here.............Perhaps you should stride in to work wearing a bikini and possibly they will listen to you closer.
From my experience, whether it's hot or cold, 70 degrees inside the building is the most comfortable.
76 seem to be pretty normal~
My power company says the wonderful temp is 78.

Wear cool clothing and maybe own a cup of ice dampen with you. And a port aficionado.

On your resume would you?

Question:
a) lie more or less the year you graduated from highschool?
b) falsehood about the time you spent working for a company?
c) Use relatives as suggestion as opposed to friends or coworkers?
d) chronicle training that you received even when you did not learn anything from it?
e) List skills that you know you cannot utilize surrounded by your current job such as making a unshakable type of sauce which will not be relevant at your subsequent location?
f) Lie about whether your position be full time or part time?
g) List job that you had for one and only one month? two months?

Answer:
a) & b) - no. Employers tend not to trust people who slump on their resumes, and both of these could be checked on fairly efficiently.

c) - possibly, although it looks better to have friends and coworkers.

d) - possibly, although it would depend on why I didn't swot up anything from the training. If it was because the training be about something I already know, no problem. If it was because the training be over my head, possibly not, especially if the alien position might expect me to use this training.

e) - possibly. Having a good chronicle of skills can show that you are well-rounded, but having too several "useless" skills can make it look close to you are padding. At the vastly least, I would put the "useless" skills tardy in the document, so that the potential employer can see the relevant skills that I have more smoothly.

f) - no. At the most, I might fail to mention whether it be full time or part time if it isn't influential, but I would not want to put an out-and-out lie down. As next to a) & b), this could be readily checked, and employers don't similar to liars.

g) - depends. Are the jobs relevant to the work you are looking for? Listing short-term job could get a potential employer wondering of late how committed you would be to a job next to them, unless you have a well-mannered explanation as to why the jobs didn't second very long. Working on a contract which terminated is not generally considered a desperate thing; getting fired for motivation, or quitting because you lost interest is.

Hope this helps.
I believe that you should never tale or try to bend the truth in your favor, because these things will turn against you when you smallest expect it.Do not include in your resume short time job or jobs from where on earth you were fired, unless they hold a connection beside the open chore.

Question:
the boss even comes to her desk and sees her sleeping but don't read aloud jack. How can I handle this surrounded by a manner beside out going off plus she basically got a bring to the fore.

Answer:
yeah, I know how that feels....but only try to address it to your boss like a funny comment and next she or he will get serious and possibly then you can transmit her how you really feel.
I hold a co-worker who does that to. He's the boss' son. Obviously there's nothing I can do.

But you should kind a joke out of it. Like help yourself to a picture of her napping and e-mail it to everyone - or if you want to be more anonomous print it out and hang it adjectives over the building. Once she realizes she's the laughing stock she might pilfer her job more seriously.
That could be a really sticky situation. I would voice my concern to a superior authority anonymously. Chances are your boss has a boss, so I would stir to them but only if you dont enjoy to reveal your identity. If you cant remain anonymous I would begin looking for another assignment and then articulate something once I have found one.
its not your business what your coworker is doing.agree to them sleep all morning if they want to.you said the boss knows roughly speaking it and he don't care why should you.basically do your job and don't verbs about others. you nouns like a big kid.get over your coworker or find a bright job.its that simple.
Is this coworker directly affecting your productivity?

Are you aspiring to move up within the company, into this person's job?

Have you be asked by your manager for "inputs" on the subject of your coworkers behavior on the job?

If you answered NO, consequently you are becoming distracted from your own job and your ceremony may be affected. Regroup, rethink your role within the company and stay out of all that person's problems.

Be professional, be productive and be imperative to the company. You'll move up in your occupation....
