Nurses, how oodles hours a week do you work?
Question:
I think it is 36 or 48 hours right? Do unusual nurses generally work 36 hours while more experienced nurses work 48 hours? Is the 12 hour shift more adjectives than the eight hour shift?
Answer:
2- 12hr shifts
and
2- 8hr shifts
a week.
but it depends. most people work 40hrs a week. but you can work overtime if you want.
my sis is an RN and she works 12 hour days, 5 days a week but is oncall give or take a few 3 days out of the month.
i could not do it. i cannot stand my little 8 hours a day. whoever said we have to work 8 hours a day anyways.
i would be more productive ie not surfing the pattern if i worked 5 hours.
How can I know what I am worthy at or what my potential is?
Question:
When I were asked, what I am fitting at, I had a complex time looking for my ability. But I can make clear to fluently what and where I am discouraging at.
Answer:
try to take several test, or several new experiences to find out what you are obedient at... like some ppl dont know that they are virtuous at this or that unless they try something new, and they find out they are devout at this, and they never expected themselves to be good at it.
Think give or take a few what you are good at- singing, cooking, power-driven stuff etc (just as a few examples) then work out whether you savour what you are good at. Can you build on any of the things you are not obedient at but enjoy??
Hi! Everyone of us is born next to both side of the coin; that is, the positive and refusal side of us. We are born into this world with at least possible some level of intelligence and gifts, save alot, so it is up to us to develop them. Whatever gifts or talents are we hold been given when we be born are for the purpose of ensuring our key survival when we become independent so that our parents can be discharged from their duty of financing us and the responsibilities of having to profess us financially. In order to be capable of know what one's own potential is, he/she will have to expose himself/herself to different things and environment. Even social duration also plays a part. We must explore our own self to guage what are the gifts and talent we have contained by ourselves by taking up different challenges and also by exposing ourselves to different situations and problems within life. Challenges surrounded by life are intended to mold and strengthen us as for every hurdle we overcome we will become a more stronger. smarter and wiser person. Through that we can grow be become a better persom contained by many expect. We will also realise the values of the things contained by our lives and also the purpose & meaning of natural life. With that we can also edify other people within return we earn respect and gain a sense of satisfaction which money cannot buy. We will verbs to grow as learning is a on-going process and for as long as we live, we do not "graduate" from the "big classroom" (this world). We will solitary "graduate" when we kick the bucket.
Back to the two sides of the coin again, since we are made up of both the positive and glum sides, why choose to look at only the gloomy side of yourself?....right? No one is born a "single-sided coin". It is only a thing of which side is more clear-cut, that's all.
As the maxim goes, "You are what you think" so choose what'ss positive because positive thoughts attract positivity and indistinguishable is true for negative thought.
Give it a thought....account down whatever your mind have about yourself and consequently use two difference colour highlighter to highlight what's positive and denial, your strength and weaknesses, your skills availability and lackage. You'll soon find that the answers lies contained by nowhere and with nobody except within yourself.
I know it's a little long-winded but I'm sure it's detailed. Just a sincere sharing. Hope you'll find it beneficial.
okay you can work a computer and go on the internet, explicitly a skill, not everyone can.

Do you wear a uniform to work?
Question:
If so, do you like it?
Would you to some extent wear your own clothes?
Answer:
Yes a French Maids uniform, but only when my secretary tell me Ive been a discouraging boy and need to be disiplined.
we wear our own clothes. we really own no dress code. sometimes I'd rather wear a uniform than try to amount out what to wear every day. our boss won't buy us shirts even though it's budgeted.
Well, most of the time I'm an elementary music mentor (so I wear my own clothes, but I have to dress up). I also cook food/ serve at a restaurant during the summer (and clearly I must wear a uniform).
I hate my uniform, but I also don't enjoy to worry roughly speaking what I'm going to wear.
I should have done, but I never wore it properly. Shirt unbutton, stripy socks, shaved head (on a girl, shock), body piercings, trainers... be how I wore my 'uniform' ;)
I've still got remnants of petty teen mutiny left over from my years of minor school uniform regulations ;)
I wear uniform. I resembling it as i don't have to wreck my own clothes, its free and when it get worn out i just walk into the office and ask for more!
I wear a uniform, dont really close to it but im glad i dont have to choose what to wear everyday !
I'm a psychiatric nurse. We used to wear plain clothes, presently we wear uniforms. I love uniform. Better than ruining my own clothes and it means that adjectives staff look smart.
yes and i like it
i wear unattached clothes to work. The only entry i have to wear is an apron if you class that as uniform
I wear a uniform - I'm a Security Officer surrounded by a Criminal Courthouse in England. Black trousers, white shirt beside epaulettes, matching tie, and a chunky sweater for winter. The uniform help me identify with my role, and, as I am a thoroughly chunky chap - 15 stone, 50 inch chest, 5ft 8in soaring, it suits me. I like it.
England must be the scruffiest nation on mud. Horrible jeans (often ripped), vests that leave the sweaty armpits exposed and reeking, trainers, women who munch through too much junk food stuffing their fluid arses and pneumatic thighs into cheap leggings. Ye Gods, what a state! I have dinner the other day surrounded by a three-star hotel that does silver service and excellent food, and people be attempting to gain access dressed in rancid, dirty shorts and T shirts attitude offensive slogans. Thank devoutness the hotel is privately owned, and that the owner operates a strict routine and dress code.
The best uniform I have ever worn is that of a chef. Check trousers, white shirt, check apron and a white tocque (chefs hat). When I qualified next to my City and Guilds, my boss made a ceremony of presenting me with my white chef's jacket, near my name embroidered thereupon. I be excused duty that night, given a buffet that I chose at the best table in the restaurant, and I be presented with two bottles of Chateauneuf de Pape - one to drink beside my meal, another to whip home and lay down. Photographs were taken, and they still sit above my desk at home. Bosses please information - this is how to motivate your staff. This event occurred thirty years ago and I still remember it beside pride.
I only cook at home immediately, but I always wear chefs gear when I'm cooking - its practical, saves your outdoor clothes from stains and its great for the ego.
Yes, but they keep hold of sending me home to change. Aparantly "nobody finds an SS uniform funny..."
I know that can't be right, because I do. I've get the 'tache and everything...
I wear a yellow spike in my coat and a dress cut down to there!
Rather unpractical for going on the no 15 but hey, it's a employment.
I really want to know why its so difficult to return with a brief down here at UK?

What you need to do when you come to the uk Is register next to the job hub first and they can talk you through getting a opportunity in your choosen profession.

Have you tried looking for work in your home country? If not I suggest you try.
I suggest it is probably because there is lots of competition for job in electronic/electric engineering. My partner have a PhD in electronic engineering and it took him over 6 months to find a career. You just stipulation to be persistant, and maybe find a path to make your CV stand out from the hundreds of others that employer must receive from engineers across the country. You could try signing up with several duty agencies - i expect there are even some that specialise within your sector - that way, they do the not easy work for you and all you enjoy to do is turn up for the interviews on time!
Just be obliged you're not an Egyptology/Classics graduate like me - near are NO jobs anywhere!
The nouns that you are looking in is fairly specific. If possible you should contact companies in the country if you are not resident as they will give an account you if they have vacancies and will hold to support a visa if you are non-native.
You should register with agencies which are specific to your nouns of experties, and consider linking to an Institution or Association who represent your area of speciality, for example the IET or the IEEE to procure their help.

If you are merely looking for a retail job next yes, Go to the stores and ask for an application but I get the inkling you are looking for employment in an office/corporate setting.
There are Companies that look for interns/summer workers through the High Schools, you may want to check beside the Principal or guidance counselor in your School.
If you are out of School already, afterwards I would suggest looking up local corporate websites and putting in an application.
Wet Seal
I worked at JCPenney when I be 17 and it was in actuality a lot better money than some of the other retail stores.

I am afraid of making mistakes at work, downfall up making more mistakes, what shall I do?
Question:
Answer:
Hi Nihat,
You don't seem too confident within this job.
If i be you, I'd ask first if I'm able to do this work. If you can answer 'yes', later why are you worried about making mistakes?
Everyone worries just about asking for help because they get the impression like their bosses will judge badly of them or regard they're incapable to do their job.
Maybe there's more training that could be provided by your employer to afford you greater confidence. There's nothing wrong next to asking for advice around something if you're unsure.
I find that I'm often unfolding subordinates that i would much prefer them to ask me how to do something if they're unsure, than set off on a course of accomplishment that would eventually end surrounded by error.
Training is the key, but, if you don't ask for support and keep making mistakes, your employer will come to construe you're incompetent.
