I know of no ruling that requires any employer to give out raise, though any good business does to not just reward employees for superior observation, but also so they can retain good personnel.

There is no permitted requirement to give raise. In fact, he can lawfully reduce your wage if he chooses to. If it make you all so batty, why don't you quit and find another job? I suspect it's because the company isn't doing okay. I'm an accountant and I see the books, and contrary to heaps employees feelings, many companies are simply hanging on for dear time! if they are merit raises next your employer can give them out as they see fit. I do not close to the merit raise because they put their own mental state into your score and u do not other get what u deserve. It is exceedingly unfair!

To answer your question, ANYTHING. You're individual 27. It seems outdated, but you're not. Going back to institution for any master's degree is simply 2-3 years. Or if you want to change job, you already have (I'm guessing) 4-6 years of experience, so you've proven your work experience.

I am a Logistics Coordinator for a trucking company and I own been contained by the Transportation business for 25 years. My husband is an ex-long haul or OTR (Over The Road) truck driver and get off the long pull 10 years ago when our daughter was born. There are times he misses it but a bit be where he is at contained by life. I'm not a trucker but a friend is dating one and here's the scoop I attain. What he likes is that he see a lot, is not within an office, is on the move, and enjoy the people he chat with/meets. What he does not resembling - the trucking companies. They all hold various quirk to them and really screw over the truckers unless they are owner/operators. He was/is a computer programmer (worked for microsoft) and continues to do it in his spare time. He drives for a national company - swift, i believe. I'm not sure in the order of hours per day, but usually gone for 3 to 4 weeks at a time consequently is back for a couple days to a week previously going out again. He has support from some home for his decision, but he is lucky surrounded by that he can find a job as a programmer at anytime if he so desires (thus, some people thinks he should only just get vertebrae to programming). Dunno about his repay but I do know to be careful if something go wrong on a haul. He run into a problem once and the company said it was fine and consent to him finish his drive. When he got pay for and the company had the truck, they fired him and kept his stuff that he have in the rig. I be told this is a common practice so that the companies don't hold vengeful truckers doing damage to the trucks. So, if you know someone who is doing it, create sure they know to pack up all of their stuff after a tow so it won't be taken by the company. Hope that helps.

Probably because you are "overqualified". I've gotten that from job interviews beforehand.
Tell them that it will be a challenge to sort it entertaining.
