My Mondays seem to be the hardest because on my days off I switch fund to normal sleeping hours (in direct to have a life) and it screw me up. Typically on my Monday I've already been awake 13-15 hrs, by the time I meander into work. Anyone else experience this? What are your tips for having as much of a time as possible while still getting adequete sleep?

I work 12 hour shifts--7PM to 7AM---in the fire department---have done this for 34 years----just don't change vertebrae and forth on days off---sleep is the number one item for you when you work this shift. For me the bells ring all night--I can't be tired.

1) If you don't already have a relaxed Friday, lots of businesses do that and it's a popular thing.
2) Suggest that instead of a short time ago having boring ancient staff meetings that y'all turn it into a potluck lunch while you discuss business.
3) Whatever months someone contained by the office have a birthday, pick out one day a month to cheer the birthdays with cake and such.
4) Trade places for a daytime with other co-workers...or better all the same, let everyone trade places for a light of day with the boss.
6) Pick out in the future a week that everyone has lunch together (not close to the meeting potluck, lately one day a week that everyone directions food out or even brings their lunch so everyone can eat together.
