What do you think? Indians inevitability not bother.

Answer:
not just indians,,,,mexicans and japs 2
No as I work as a mechanic surrounded by the airlines. I have never see one wherever I work for some cause. I do know they do not use deodorant or such. Yes they do have bleak bad traditions. But on the flip side they may not understand the traditions they have are gross.
The rationale that America is being sold cheap is because those citizens work harder than other lazy family. White people name african americans, latinos ect. minorities. That is just referring to them as the superior see. Indians have different traditions and a different culture. Its just as simple as that.

Architect.?

Question:
im want to major within architecture, there is solitary one problem i feel that i need what it takes within math but im great in drawing. what should i do?

Answer:
Go for it. Don't verbs about the math aspect too much. Most of the those in the architecture paddock don't use advanced math in their afternoon to day undertakings. Most of the calculations that you will be doing is finding nouns, volumes, and general multiplication. Most of your drawings will be on computer anyway and programs approaching AutoCAD will even calculate areas for you. Its lovely. Most of the provoking calculations are done by the engineers (structural, lighting, mechanical). In my experience as a project coordinator, I didn't use anything above Trig, like finding the areas of triangles, and wedge. But again, most of this was assisted next to AutoCAD. You will also be doing alot of occupancy calculation which is taking the area of the building, dividing it by a number indicated by the code (ie: 100 sf) and that will present you your occupancy nouns.

Good luck! and don't worry!
Architectural math is fairly basic. If you can bar algebra, geometry and trig you should do fine.

Has anyone have to whip the Caliper Assessment Test?

Question:
I just have to complete a "personality assessment" testing called Caliper as segment of a job interview process. Has anyone else have to take this? Does anyone know how this assessment works and what the results mean?

Answer:
I only took the test 2 wks ago myself. I'm interviewing for an Outside Sales position w/ a company that uses the Caliper assessment. The test is 180 question. There are not right or wrong answers. Below is a quote regarding the interview:

"In the Caliper exam, prospective hires respond to 180 questions, respectively of which is phrased in the form of four self-descriptions. The subject afterwards marks which query best describes him or her. Knowing the subjects want to give the "right" answers, respectively description is a positive trait. For example, one list of four descriptions might include "I am a perfect leader," "I am responsible," "I am emotionally stable," and "I seize along with nation." While each description is positive, by choosing one answer a subject reveals something. After 180 different question, a subject paints a highly descriptive psychological profile that Caliper's trained professionals can analyze."

"The oral exam allows us to assess who this human being is," he say. "Every one of us has strengths, weakness and different hot buttons. But before we can report to you how well this character will perform on the brief, we have to find out the functional requirements for the errand. It it's a sales opening, will there be much prospecting? Will they be presenting surrounded by front of customers frequently? Do they need profoundly of closing ability? Who will they be selling to? What's the product? How much does it cost? And we assemble as much information as a customer will give us more or less the position. Once we have a firm grasp on the temper of the job, next we analyze the person's test results and notify you where we imagine there's a match.

"But this is one point where on earth many computer test fail - they don't whip into account the personality of the job.Typically the best salesperson could be the worst administrator, and the best administrator could be the worst salesperson. So unless you know both sides of the equation there's no method in the world you can predict one person's nouns.

But if you're skeptical whether a simple 180-question test can really predict adjectives success surrounded by sales, consider Caliper's results. Factoring out the frequent turnover within many sale organizations by eliminate salespeople who left positions inside one year, 85 percent of the individuals Caliper had recommended to clients are today contained by the top half of their sale forces. In contrast, of those hired against Caliper's recommendation, individual 17 percent are in the top partially of their sales forces. "

Good luck w/ the question paper. It is a brain-drain. There is no time limit but folks customarily take 2 1/2 to 3 hrs to complete it. To summarize the testing, there are a few specific question asked about 180 ways.
It is a question paper to see if your abilities and personality are a fit to the company. The meaning of the results will be determine by the potential employer because they are the one decide if you should be hire on. Our company uses the Caliper assestment test, too, but lone for salary positions.

I would love to know that when you are on the brief is it rude to ask a customer retorically if they are rich?

Question:
I work at a movie theater(consession stand). A man had come to the counter I was working and asked for a significant popcorn with extra extra butter. when a customer say this then after every serving spoon of popcorn I squirt a couple things of butter. I'm guessing the customer liked the agency I did this becuase He jokingly responded with "I would love to marry you". and I jokingly replied next to "Are you rich"? my coworker was right within she heard everything(nosey *****!) and told my boss. I be verbally lecture that to ask someone if they are rich is disrespectfull. You know what I think is disrespectfull. People who stick thier antenna where it doesnt belong contained by other peoples business.

Answer:
if you had lately came out and said hey are you rich it would hold been one item..but you were flirting/playing and it be harmless possibly the coworker is jealous he didnt flirt/play beside her or that you get more attention than she does...
Generally asking that for no principle is rude, but you were only just keeping up a friendly conversation w/the customer. Your coworker is obviously upset by the customers complimenting you and enjoy your service, so she felt the entail to lower your boss' opinion of you.

Explain to your boss that you be joking around near the customer who initiated the conversation and if you had lately ignored him, THAT is what would hold been rude.
No it's not rude surrounded by the way you asked as it be in a playing around matter. Of course if you have asked for no reason are you rich capably then that's another issue. There's a person approaching your co worker in every crowd, you know what she is similar to now so my suggestion is to stay away from her when you don't enjoy to be around her as by the sounds of it she will only grounds you trouble.

Has anyone ever used a staffing agency?

Question:
I'm been trying to find a mission for months now and I'm have problems, which is really frustrating since I'm definetly employable, with lots of honest experience and only great reference. I'm thinking about trying a staffing agency. Has anyone have any experiences with these? Just wanting to know if it be a good experience, or if near is anything I should know about them that are discouraging.

Answer:
I have used them contained by the past. The problem near most staffing agencies is the response you get is solely as good as the associates who are trying to help you. More commonly than not, they will either fabricate your information or find a poor match for your skills only just to earn their commission. SO, while you may get a mission, it might not be the right one for you.

Three pieces of advice:
1. Review your approach as it stands (how does your cover message look, how does your resume look, and how do you follow up with the potential employer) by asking indifferent third party who might be able to dispense you pointers on them ...professors, friends in government or old-school business owners are usually good.
2. If you are seriously considering staffing agencies, ask around give or take a few a short-list of them and see what people know, consequently go contained by and INTERVIEW them to see if they are good adequate to help you out.
3. Read their contract up to that time you sign on the dotted line next to them.
I used a staffing agency after 6 months of unemployment. They started me stale with high-input/low-income job. As I took on more & more assignments and pleased their clients, they started assigning me to better & better jobs. I be eventually hired on with a full-size Oil company & I've been cheerily working with them for olden times 3 years (hired by the company 1.5 years ago).

It's also a good agency to gain a wide span of experience.
i've used them in times gone by, my experiences was mixed. donate it a shot.
I've been working for one for around 4 months now. Its a correct way to find different career's. There are lots of well-mannered things about working for them close to, getting paid respectively week, doing lots of different things, able to move off a job glibly and get a foreign one, and maybe getting hired on full time. There are also lots of downsides similar to, being treated resembling a second class citizen, being overlooked, doing crap jobs ( resembling for the last two days I've spent them alphabetizing files), empire talk to you approaching ur an idiot, and working and learning strange things and doing a great job than they permit you go to enjoy the original entity return from leave. Good luck near it.
Yes I have used staffing agencies heaps a time. I'm a nurse and the use of agency staff is a fact of enthusiasm in nursing. Not as much as within the past but still used.
It's something that you should unequivocally try. Be selective in the agency that you use. There are some agencies that are state and would be able to place you even if you relocated. When you register near an agency, you are the one that will determine what your pay rate continuum will be when you go through the interview process. Based on that info, the results of your skills test, and the incoming requisitions for employees, you will be placed as expected. Just be willing to be a bit flexible if you want to work immediately. Sometimes they'll own an assignment that may be closer to your home, but at a slightly lower rate. What you spend in travel time and other travel-related expenses might be equivalent to the difference surrounded by salary. Weigh the pros and cons contained by every position offered to you.

One more thing: other stay in contact next to the agency that you register with. That let them know you are: 1) available to work; 2) still interested in working; and 3) motivated.

Good luck!

Does anyone know if L.A. county probation department have overtime?

Question:
I am applying for the position of los angeles county probation officer, but the pay is merely $3800 per month, so i am interested to know if they have overtime remuneration? LAPD and LAFD people create more in overtime than their actual salary, so i want to know if the probation department is the same, if they dont own overtime then i dont presume its worth to go for it. any planning?

Answer:
Under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), the federal law which establishes overtime standards, ALL branches of LA county system MUST pay overtime. As a command entity, they may pay that overtime any in bread wages or in compensatory time stale, but either opening, it must be computed at time and one-half the regular rate of pay. However, for fire protection and decree enforcement employees, they don't own to begin computing overtime until after 43 (law enforcement) or 53 (fire protection) hours per work week, instead of the regular 40 hours per work week that applies to non-law enforcement/fire protection workforce. Also, the law enforcement/fire protection personnel can have their overtime computed on a work term of up to 28 days (still at the same ratio as 43/53 hours to a 7-day work term, i.e., 171/212 for a 28 day interval, or 85/106 for a 14-day period, and so on), where on earth all non-law enforcement/fire protection employees' OT must be computed on a work week by work week principle.

The best place to find more information about how overtime must be computed and compensated is at the Department of Labor's website (www.dol.gov) or by contacting the Wage and Hour Division, the agency responsible for enforcing the FLSA, toll-free at 1-866-4US-WAGE. You can also look up the actual regulation, at Title 29, US Code of Federal Regulations, Part 553.

Hope this help.

When should you go and get a written requirement and surely you should hold proof of this?

Question:
Girlfriend on report at work and was told she would not drop a stage as she have be given a written warning is in that some one she can see or go

Answer:
A written limitation should be just that - within writing - a letter to your girlfriend pointing out the details. She should approach her Union if she have one or go to the Citizen's Advice Bureau.
Before a written reproving you should have two oral warnings and an informal deterrent, all should be record on your employment file. The second vocal and the written has to be confirmed surrounded by writing as well.

If an employer sack someone lacking going through these stages then at hand will be a case for undue dismissal.
Obviously your Friend has have at least one counseling from her employer. Any time an hand is counseled he is required to sign an acknowledgment, given a copy of the acknowledgement, and the original is kept within her personnel file.

I don't know what you penny-pinching by "she would not drop a stage".

And last, but not lowest possible, why are you involving yourself in something to be exact none of your business in the first place.
There is no firm rule as to when you should receive miscellaneous forms of reprimand. Styles and forms vary from company to company. Most companies today use voiced counseling as the first step, followed by written counseling as the second offense. In some cases there may be several singing or written instances prior to actual action taken against an member of staff. Remember however that in some instances if unpromising enough, performance may warrant bypassing the milder verbal and written warning.
A written warning is a written response by the employer for the personnel breach of contract, rules or other regulations.

Typically, if an employee does wrong, the carry verbal warning, then written, afterwards stronger written warnings and afterwards sacking.

This vary depending on the policy of the individual company and the severity of what the act be.

My personal suggestion is to take come first and move on; I am not sure what "Drop a stage" money??
If you are given any kind of stipulation, (disciplinary) then nearby should be a meeting, contained by which you can put your point across, if the warnign is issued then is should be surrounded by writing and you should also get a copy of the minutes of the scheduled time.

need any more give support to drop me a mail shaun@sdhinternet.co.uk

I enjoy found that hard workers are regularly easy to pinch advantage of because we are too busy working and man responsible, while the smoozers are busy kissing up and working the political system.
