Working at 16?

Question:
Hey, as soon as i finish school contained by June (btw I have my national insurance number) Will i know how to work? How many days? What would roughly be my discharge if i worked in a clothes shop contained by London

Thanks to all you

Answer:
16 is the endorsed age to work (in ireland anyway) but in some places you enjoy to be 18! you would get typical wage which is like lb6 an hour. you'd probably work a 7 hour daytime at 5 days a week. you'd be earning around 210 within a week or 840 a month!
about 6 quid an hour x8 xhow heaps days you work
lb3.30 or more per hour for all workers below the age of 18, who are no longer of compulsory school age. ( dont verbs this may vary )

f you are over the academy leaving age (16) but younger than 18 you are covered by tougher regulations - You hold different and better limits on working time and rights to breaks

* You cannot work more than 40 hours per week. There are no opt-outs from any of these provisions.

* You cannot work at hours of darkness.

* You have the right to four weeks salaried annual holiday - the same as elder workers.

* You should get a continuous break of 12 hours every sunshine (though this can be split in some peter out cases).

* You should get a two-day break every week.. This cannot be averaged over a two-week length. If the nature of the mission makes it unpreventable, a young worker’s weekly time rotten can be reduced to 36 hours, subject to them receiving compensatory rest

* You should get hold of a break of 30 minutes if your working day is more than four and a partially hours.

theres some more just look on the management pay / hours sites that should enlighten you more .

p.s In my opinion i erg you to travel to college but thats nto for everyone i guess
I dont see why you cant work. The current National Minumum Wage for someone your age is lb3.30 per hour, and this will rise to lb4.45 when you reach 18. However if you are seeking work outside an employment agency you may all right earn above the NMW, especially in London. The NMW is due to rise surrounded by October.

Any info would be great, who to contact, websites, links and the such.

Thanks contained by advance wg

Answer:
Contact State Dept,,,,,That agency you have the governing body job specifically a security network living over seas,,,Good Luck
Dubai other has obedient oppotunities.
It depends whether you just want to move over for a working holiday or for well-mannered. I lived there a few years ago on a working visa, but although I have a ruck of qualifications they weren't agreed in Oz and employer were mostly put off by the reality that I was on a acting visa so I couldn't get a lifelong job. The individual way I achieve this was to marry a couple of temping agencies who kept me in work to reward the rent. I also took on an early morning cleaning commission so I could make sure that I have money just within case at hand was no temp contract. In recent times one of my friends go over and did fruit picking whilst the other did bar work. I reckon if you're going on a impermanent visa, you should take a totally different mission than what you're used to - it's all slice of the experience!! Look at www.immi.gov.au for some pointers.

Is it possible to receive a right IT duty out of the country (ie Japan, England) beside a Comp. Science point from US University?

Question:

Answer:
The easiest way for a US citizen to achieve a IT job in a foreign country is to work as a contractor for the US military abroad. They work contained by some pretty cool places as well as the set crappy ones. What doesn't make ANY of the papers is that every military stand around the world has a massive number of government civilian and contractors working for them. Why? Our current US military policy restrictions the number of people working within IT fields - their intensely backwards way of thinking is that it take too long to get them trained to the horizontal of a MCSE or a CCNA or a programmer to be of any value during a constrained (two to four years) enlistment time.

But computer systems and networks that the military depends on HAVE to be operated and maintain by someone. That's why there are so oodles of these jobs available. The solitary down side is that many (but not all) of them require a US indemnity clearance - which is harder and harder to get at the moment.

But not as hard as trying to find a work permit within one of these countries that you mentioned like Japan, England, etc. Almost every foreign country requires any a special Visa or work permit back you can work in their country, and these are all-but-impossible to attain. Trade protection barriers are hugely alive and well when it comes to labor protection - contained by all professions. In the European Union, you must own a EU work permit to be authorized to work within an EU country. When you go to crowd out an application, however, the first question asked is are you an citizen of a EU accomplice country. If not, "do not past run, do not collect $200". You can get EU employment if you fit into markedly specialized categories, but even afterwards you must have a corporate sponsor. Not impossible, but difficult. It is one and the same thing for most developed Asian countries, New Zealand, Austrailia, etc. The point is adjectives these developed counties want the best jobs to budge to their citizens first (wouldn't you?)

If you really are that adventurous, you could always come over to various of these countries as an English Teacher (it's actually the quickest form of entry into most of the overseas countries around the world) and afterwards see what your opportunities are. If they are not to your partiality, then come rear legs to the US.

Short of the English teaching route, working overseas within IT around a US military installation is the quickest way to go and get overseas. However, in ornament to your degree, you will almost sure need a couple of computer certs (Cisco, Microsoft, Security, etc) to achieve your foot in the door.

Hope this help.
If you find out let me know, 'cause I haven't found one.

Is it nouns if an employer ask you if you're legally recognized to work surrounded by the US?

Question:

Answer:
No it is not. In fact, they are required by regulation to employ merely legal immigrant. I hope this helps.
Peace and every blessing!
While it vary from state to state, in California it is not evil to ask this particular give somebody the third degree. As a manager, I am allowed to ask if a potential member of staff has the legally recognized right to work in the United States. In postscript, I am allowed to ask if the potential employer is requesting employment based on the sponsorship of a visa. These are not unreasonable question and should be expected during the interview process. If you are unsure of your specific options, consult a immigration attorney since you apply for a position. Good luck!
NO its not. Some companies do not sponsor international people as a consequence it is a neccessity to ask. As for me I am a citizen with an international baptize so when they ask me, I am very content that they asked instead of passing me over
All employer are required to ask this of all prospective team
No. He has that right.
No, federal imperative dictates that an employer is required get documentation from every hand proving his or her legal status within order to hire this character.
No, because they ask that on the application you fill out.
Nope. Not if they ask everybody that. And they do. I ruminate you need to cram what discrimination is. Discrimination is denying you a position based on your skin color. Determining if you're court to work is done to everybody, regardless of skin color.
Absolutely not. That's a standard business question asked of potential human resources by employers to protect themselves.
NO
No, it is not, though it is not outstandingly pleasant.
No. If you are not legal you do not belong contained by the United States.

Is it true that British born workers are good-for-nothing and unreliable compared to migrant vocation coming into UK?

Question:
I am currently finding it hard to achieve another job, even though I am likely to try anything, work any hours for any wage and I have worked drastically hard for UK employer all my natural life. But it does seem most available job vacancies in my nouns nowadays draw from filled by immigrant brought in as a fragment of Blair government's policy,
not people born surrounded by UK. Now with statistics indicating a pool of 4.8 million British empire available but unable to acquire work, I am concerned to read of the recent statement reportedly made by the "British Chamber of Commerce" and "Institue of Directors" in the U.K. reflecting extensive opinion that British born workers are "lazier, smaller number reliable and less skilled" than workers coming here from other parts of the world? But what is the evidence to support or deny these assertions by British employers if any? What can we British born individuals do about it?

Answer:
I know immigrant workers who work exceptionally hard and do a worthy job. I also know UK workers who work greatly hard, but they earn obedient money and here in lies the problem. Most pubs surrounded by Soho London are staffed by none Brits. As a landlord told me "I own stopped employing British workers. Barwork is a low salaried job and adjectives the Brits I get are workshy and are usually caught with their hand in the till" Before the EU expanded I know of a hospital that have advertised for a hours of darkness shift porter for over a year! They found a Polish man that would do the job, but his visa application (backed by the hospital) be refused. The British love to pick and choose what they do and complain going on for most things. The solution is simple, if Brits went out into the workplace and by hardwork and reliability proved these judgment wrong, then it would dampen the need for workere from other countries.
not much any can do i know a few immigrant that do work hard ,
its like peas in a pod any where english , asia, european some r laid-back & some will work hard for here familys ect
its the employers that hire cheap workers that pick immigrant as they dont realise that they are working cheap unless the system changes nought will change
what they probably niggardly is migrant workers work longer hours for less pay cheque because it is easier for unscrupulous employers to lift advantage of them.

we do own a large number of population on jobseekers allowance that abuse the system and are incredibly slothful. there be a q on here i saw yesterday asking how many hours you can work and still claim income support. if you can work, why are you allowed to claim income support?
I consider the truth is that British workers expect a fair days earnings and other decent working conditions - whereas immigrant will take what they're given. Perfect work for small businesses
Wen can't do anything about it. Migrant workers are puring within to the UK i beleive for many of the reason you state. We can't blame them for it, they are only exploring an opportunity to take home life better for themselves. There is a factory close to where on earth i live, curently talking on migrant/immigrant workers and paying them smaller number than minimum wage. Anyone currently employed by the company who's earning smaller quantity than minimum wage daren't complain because they know there's another worker round the corner waiting to take the position. The BCC and others are only compounding the problem; they are adjectives in have a preference of British Industry making more profit and are blind to the knock on effect of government policy on British born folks. I certainly don't hold the answers, only more question for our beloved politicians. I don't know if it'll make a difference, but here is an election upcoming.
The British workers are not really apathetic, but only doing their career only and sticking rigidly to their post description and not flexible as is required in today's society. It is very well en-grain with the workers here. Many babyish people send regrets to work as they get remunerated nearly as much from the social, and not doing nothing. The immigrant worker is set to work for less and as heaps hours as the employer wants ,as the money they earn they distribute back home and build themselves a worthy life. Until they are entitled to the social, later they also don't work legally anymore.
It is not how concrete you work its how much you want for doing it, as long as people can hold coming in from Poland and such low compensate areas and who are willing to work for low after you are not going to find a job, these empire live in a small flat to share costs, 2,3 or more so the like of you who maybe own to pay adjectives your bill your self just can't compete.
It is appalling that you are person passed over for jobs because employer think that british workers are idle. If the native work force is poorly skilled, who's knock is that except this rooten government for dumbing down recommendation to the point of being meaningless.
An entire social group has grown up who cannot read, write and do elementary maths, how the hell does Tony Blair think that this will net this country competitve.
The immigrants that are preventing you from working will run home eventually, leaving employer with no employment except the one they rejected.
I think you should start to play them at their own team game.
When you apply for a job, transport in 2 applications, one within your name and one surrounded by a foreign sounding one, both with very skills qualifications. If Jonny foreign get interview and you don't, make a complaint to an industrial tribunal for nouns.
If you are not working you will acquire legal aid. The company will enjoy to pay lb's to safeguard it. From experience a pay bad of lb2.5k to go away is the usual charge.
I would always write to a potential employer after an interview if it have not been successful to ask who get the job, their skills and testimonial compared to yours and why you weren't selcted.
If they have given the employment to someone who cannot speak decent english, obtain onto the Equal Opportunity Commision. This may not get you a living, but it sure tops up the bank go together so you can recover from individual turned down on a sunny beach. Good luck.
It is regretable and I will not be popular adage so, but it is an unfortunate certainty that the British have other had a reputation internationally for man "LAZY" at workplace. This is not something that applies only to the trial emerging generation nor something that solely started happening when Tony Blair come to power.

Today as in departed decades, your average Brit refuses to gain out of bed to get to work in the past 9 or later, is normally late, is unwilling to work more than a few hours respectively day, expects never to work weekends, never work night, never work after 4 or 5 in the afternoon, as ably as devoting considerable thought and expertise into the art of skiving during the very few hours in actuality at workplace daily.

Many British born workers come across to be habitually abusing the rules to skive sour coming into work at all such as by taking bogus "sickies" when at hand is really no medical reason for not human being able to work except that well agreed British workplace disease of "workshyness". You are suffering Wamibo because British Employers are regretably finding that they do not get any of these sorts of problem near migrant workers from eastern Europe who are desperate to get over here and and prove how much more industrious, reliable and responsible they are than YOU and are overjoyed with wages partially or less than British Unions constraint for same work.

see
www.contractoruk.com/nws/00257...

You ask what can British born people close to you do about it. I am afraid the merely answer is if you do maanage to get a opening "stop being workshy and start proving British men and women can be as industrious, reliable and responsible surrounded by doing their job as workers from Poland are.(I wonder how oodles thumbs down I am going to get for typing the truth within the u.k. answers section?)
