My daughter applied for job at daycare centers at age 14. She was fully CPR certified (Adult, Child, Infant) and have the American Red Cross Babysitter's Certification. Guess what? None of the centers would hire her. It seems that you must be elder. If you really want to do this, you may have to inquire near a private home daycare. It's funny that people don't mind a 14 year behind the times sitter in the home, but commercial daycares own very strict guidelines and would not hire my child, even though she have all the right credentials, or so we thought!
