I left an hour back my interview incase of traffic and getting. Well, I got lost big time and made it to my interview past due by 15 mins. I called the organization beforehand to let them know I be lost and will be late. Mapquest give me the directions! Am I totally screwed? I think I did very well in the interview otherwise, I apologized, and I wrote a follow-up thank you, and did capably on the test. Am I still screwed?

If you did as powerfully as you stated in your interview and exam, the lateness will not play a role. You call the hiring manager to advocate them you were lost. It would without a doubt have played a big role if you be late for the interview lacking contacting them of your dilemma. There is a technical trade institution here in Michigan where on earth I live that offers this program. I've never hear of any schools anywhere else that extend this program. I read about this program from the information packet that the university sent to me about the program and it essentially involves a person running the front bureau of a medical facility or hospital.. I want to take any this program or take up a Medical Assistant program. I don't want to gamble away my time or money going to school for something that I am going to enjoy a difficult time finding employment in once i am finished. Would you agree? Part of me of late wants to move about to school for Medial Assistant instead of Medical Office Specialist. But I have an idea that I would enjoy doing Medical organization specialist work better than I would becoming a Medical Assistant. I thought maybe its better to become a Medical Assistant because I probably won't own such a diffult time finding employment in the enclosed space once I am finished as I would MOS program.

Two *very* different occupations! MOS is essentially a receptionist position. You engender appointments, retreive and file archives, keep doctor's schedule for them, greet patients, get patients to overrun out first-time and repeat-visit paperwork, and collect co-pays. Except for the terminology and the reality that there are doctors and sick those around, it's much like any other department job. Pay is usually surrounded by the $10-$15 per hour range.
MA is much more involved beside the medical side of things. Depending on your training and the terminology of your employer, MA may within fact be Physician's Assistant, which requires plentifully of training. MA is usually less skilled and controlled, though; you do help next to the patients, but don't give shots, apply bandage, etc. You are there to support the physician, nurse, medic, etc. by staging supplies, handing them things, etc. Pay is better than for MOS, usually contained by the $15-$18 per hour range.
The most impressive thing for you to consider is what you savour doing, and whether either position will prepare you for any different work you might already be considering.

My job is not telemarketing or anything, we be in charge of financial accts. I deal next to people every afternoon yelling at me for something that they did wrong. Most of the time it is something that would be commonsense to the average individual. For example: "I got this broadsheet in the post that says to riddle it out, sign and mail it stern. Boy enjoy I been at hand!! I think it is critical that you permit this stuff roll off your rear legs. It has zilch to do with you. Most nation are idiots and they don't read what comes to them and then are looking to pocket it out on someone. I used to work with a client who would cry and swear at me out of frustration. It was a $200 million sketch, so I could not scream put money on. I would just agree to her rave and would actually a short time ago go into a state of zen because as she yell, I just thank my lucky stars I was not her. It in reality did make me quality better. In fact, I handle her so well, that my director give me two other difficult clients because I could handle them. I get a promotion out of it. So, do whatever it take to wash your hand of the day and be done near it. This may seem silly but I own no idea what i want to leading in and i own already gone through 2 years of college. Its hard because seriously of major I don't make out all the oppurtunities next to them. I know I like to be surrounded by control of things and I know I would like to do things on my own time. I love to relief people and I am pretty apt at math! Anyone have any suggestions?

If you similar to math and helping people, own you ever thought about becoming a mentor? Or perhaps dance into one of the scientific field. You said that you like to do things on your own time and be contained by charge of your work. Science related jobs point a lot of research and independent projects. The money is suitable, too. Finally, you cannot go wrong next to anything in strength care and that's not going to coppers. Go to your campus career center and confer to an advisor. Just know this: whatever your primary, you might not find your calling until after college. So don't sweat it too much.
Go for any other degree
It's not too postponed to talk to a university counsellor or employment counsellor. Take the interest and aptitude testing to find out what things you resembling to do and where your strengths recline.

My wife is a nursing chief on a cardiac care section and she has a hectic each day schedule. There is closely to nursing that many inhabitants don't even think in the order of. Its not just giving citizens support and comforting them, even though thats part of it too. She have to get a Bachelors Degree and years of on the situation training and course work to get to where on earth she is today, and I'm very proud of her. It's a great deal of studying and yes they do have to document everything they do so writing plays a big bit in that art. As you progress in the pasture you will have to write reports as all right as deal beside other department heads and unsurprisingly doctors and snotty interns who think they know it adjectives just cuz they manage to graduate med school! If not for nurses holding their hand in the start they wouldnt learn anything surrounded by the clinical arena. Only you know if you're up to the task. Its not an confident career pedestrian area, and many ethnic group are leaving nursing due to impossible working conditions and poor appreciation of what they do. However, health meticulousness is where its at within th USA right now near so many so-called "infant boomers" (hate that term) getting ready to retire. There is suitable money to be made in any pen of nursing, so talk to other nurses if you can (both manly and female) to get their perspective on it. You first stipulation to do research on the job you are applying for. If they require travel. You may of lost the commission with that answer. Ask around nearly the company. That way, you will know if the answer you are going to supply fits their criteria.
