I would recommend any department job. It's usually pretty glib to find a part time career as a receptionist, or file clerk. It may carry boring, but having the experience of mortal at the bottom of the totem pole is something good to drop back on. Plus, these job usually make more per hour than right to be heard a job surrounded by retail (which can get unsightly over summer with kids out of school).
Office job aren't glamorous or exciting, but you can use your skills composing correspondence or communicating with clientel. It's much more comfortable than dealing near free-range customers :o)
