I would suggest however that transgendered individuals bring pains to ensure that their appearance is as appropriate as possible for the position they wish to pursue. For example - hiring a woman beside a heavy five o'clock shadow into a customer-facing service role can serve to alienate customers and might put together an employer think twice roughly hiring that person.
