after he asks me to work on the checkouts ! if i refuse or i prefer not too is this desperate like could i go and get fired for not wanting to work as a checkout chick and im a guy by the way so i dont approaching serving people at adjectives id a bit stack fruit .

Generally, you wouldn't get fired for motto "No, I dont want to go on check outs".

What is more plausible to happen, is that you would return with very few shifts (if any) until you have finally had plenty and quit.

This of course depends on the common sense you are being shifted between departments. Is it a sizeable store or a smaller one?

Are you in the SDA Union? I am not a supporter of union (and never have been) however if you really dont want to work on checkouts, and you estimate that saying no won't stir down well beside the store manager, you should speak to your federation rep first. The union rep will probably budge to your store manager and say-so "He was hired as a produce assistant, explicitly where he wishes to work." You could say this to your store leader yourself but by letting the union do it for you, the coalition will ensure that you continue to receive the minimum number of shifts, and aren't treated unfairly as a result of your refusal.

I assume you are still at institution? If there is a kismet that you will continue to work at Woolworths after you finish your schooling (for example starting full time and doing a traineeship) after it could very powerfully be a good move to grasp exposure to as many different departments as possible. Even though you dont want to work on checkouts, use a tone that say "I'm willing to be credible, what can we do so that I dont have to work on checkouts". Use this as an opportunity to discuss why you dont want to work on checkouts, and where on earth you would like to work. Your store organizer will no doubt explain the reason he wants you to redeploy departments. Listen to him/her and if you come up with a better view than you changing departments, be sure to make clear to him/her. If his/her reasons are base on your performance, ask him/her what you would involve to change and ask for a touch time to prove yourself now that you know what to translate.

If he/she agrees not to send you to checkouts (or to checkouts perchance for a short period only), next you have done ably. Thank him/her and be on your way. Make sure you remember any promises he/she make to you (e.g. only 3 weeks on check outs, or similar) and be sure to variety sure they happen. Let your association rep know what happened.

4. If your store head still says you own to go to check outs, and your coalition rep has told you that they will final you up, let your store coordinator know that you have spoken to the alliance and they dont believe that this is fair (or doesn`t matter what the union did say). Your store checker might instantly change his mind. If things start to escalate (e.g. tension start building, back past its sell-by date, let him know that you will be asking the federation to speak to him and leave. Speak to the alliance, tell them what happen with your store commissioner, and ask them to act on your behalf.

No, you could hire an attorney and win the PTO days, however since they consider you "fired" than they are responsible for your unemployment check. I'm sure adjectives states are different but in MO & MA & CT the member of staff can only collect dismissal if "fired" or suffer a lay off.

If you a moment ago want your PTO days than threaten to sue or talk to your aged boss's supervisor and tell s/he how your man treated... or call your mature H.R they know the rules...
