You're screwed unless you can land an internship or acquire some sort of experience. You should have worked at your college tabloid or something. I recommend shooting for an internship at your local newspaper, or at a daily in a larger city.

i hold a degree within journalism. i work at a mortgage company as a loan officer. give up. journalism degree are poison. although if you have some works published later try your local paper first and after try some of the larger ones. start local, at least nearby you can get some experience. oh, by the agency, pay sucks for journalism folk unless you hit it big. hold on to that in mind.
I'm a business consultant and occasionally subcontract out digital artwork. The fellow that I subcontract to have a portfolio that includes not only adjectives of Macromedia and Adobe's software but also autocad, pro-engineer and some other 3-D modeling software. He can do print ads, web-to-tv conversion, and back-end programming, photography and a few other things. Personally, I would not consider hiring someone for a project who have no experience because of the risk involved in not getting the work done prompt.
My best advice would be to try to seize in near a larger company that has the resources to train you. If you would similar to to get into the digital medium field, build a portfolio and bring some real world experience. The competition surrounded by this field is stiff. You could take certified as a webmaster, for ex. or perhaps do some free-lance writing for a local broadsheet. A relative of mine also has a point in journalism and he works full time as a realtor and does some free-lance writing for a local dissertation. If all fail, go to grad conservatory and do an internship somewhere in the interim.

Depends on the amount of money, if you really need the extra money, later go for the low duty with giant pay. If money's not that influential, then budge for the high opportunity. It depends on the nature of business you work in. For a service or retail errand, then yes, I would fire him. You newly can't have an member of staff being rude to EVERYONE. And if your boss have spoken to him before, consequently that should be grounds for termination. Fire him. Or brand name him pick up everyone's slack. The work doesn't have to be spread evenly. I'd overwork him, confer him terrible hours (if it's bit time,) or a lot of go-for assignments. Why can't my friend collect laying-off?
Question:My friend lost her job over a month ago and applied for dismissal. The unemployment agency replied put a bet on to her telling her that they would not impart her any money. I asked her what their reason be and she says she doesn't remember; she didn't own the paper reply contained by front of her at the moment when we were chitchat. I don't want to ask her why again as I feel to be exact prying too much. She worked for the county for at least 7 years, and she told me they fired her because she could not come together her quota. She will be 65 in going on for 4 months. Do you know why the unemployment agency won't distribute her money? She is going to apply for an appeal. Also, is there any proposal or suggestions I could give her to help out her with her appeal?
