I am building my business away from work. My job is a upkeep man(which requires me to wear a uniform) Mind you I do have a B.S.-Finance degree(all of which I never disuss) I am not surrounded by corporate america because i just did not delight in it and not to mention I make more money doing what i do and it's a hell of abundantly more stable..........For some starnge reason( I think it have to do with the uniform i.e.-non-professional) inhabitants want to give me "trade advice" as if I have no thought as to what i want in time and that " i can do so much more than maintenace". Now I never let anyone no going on for my business(finance related) nor do I ever discuss my degree. But for some starnge idea people approach me as if I have need of some "direction" and what they have to right to be heard is what's good for me. I truely focus people prospect me differently becuase I wear a uniform and not a suite/tie. How can i deal next to the "advice givers? I don't quality I need to explain myself or even reveal my college backgroud/business

I had 2 small children at home and the hours be conducive to my children's schedule, and I earn an excellent living without missing out on anything. A woman came into the lounge where on earth I worked and recognized me from my academy days, I went to conservatory with her daughter. She have the audacity to tell me that she be so disappointed with my trade choice because she always thought I be going to really go places. I asked her what her daughter is doing immediately and she said that she was working for an grease company downtown and doing very economically. She even told me what her daughter's salary be. I told her that I chose to work "smart" rather than working "hard". Her daughter have to get on the bus every morning stuffed surrounded by like a sardine, worked until 5 pm when she took like bus home again. My hours were from 11 am- 5 pm, and I earn exactly double what her daughter earned. I also enjoy a home business that at that time, earned 1 1/2 times what her daughter earn. I told her that perhaps she should have another look at that almighty "Oil" job, lessen her hours and earn a h*** of abundantly more than she was!
I no longer inevitability to waitress anymore, I work strictly from home now, but when someone offer me career direction, I just smile at them and inform them not to worry, everything's beneath control......then I modification the subject.

Sad but true, most people somehow pass judgment those who are blue collar as less successful than the white collar workers. I enjoy a feeling that revealing your teaching background would meet the "advice givers" better than when you do not. If you are competent to tell them you hold a B.Sc in Finance and you consistency happy doing this work and how you can pursue what you want to do and the freedom it give you, I think these counsel givers would envy you. People want freedom and success, it seem to me you have both. And you own what they want.
