Is a black dress that buttons up contained by front okay to wear for an interview?
Question:
Its one of those shirt-dresses. I am planning on wearing it with hose and a two of a kind of pumps. Or should I go near slacks and a jacket?
I am interviewing at schools to be a guru (its a job fair)
The dress is not low cut and it hits at the knees.
Answer:
In the job trainings I've have for interviewing and professionalism, I was other taught to wear wide-reaching colors, like floor tones and black. They taught me that loud colors close to, red, pink, green,.... well you seize the picture, cause too much of a distraction. So your correct to go near your black dress, as long as it's not too short and tight. The buttons are irrelevant, as long as you look professional.
Slacks, and a Jacket, works for me.
In interviewing for a teaching position, I judge it's fine. If it were a corporate position, after I would suggest the slacks and jacket or full suit. But that dress sounds fine for the type of interview you will be doing.
it sounds OK.
Just make sure that no situation what you're doing the buttons wont pop and that you cannot see skin between buttons.
I personally have an idea that a suit looks more professional...but that's just me.
sounds similar to the dress is ok but maybe walk with the slacks and jacket
teacher wear a lot of khakis and sweaters or knit tops i wouldnt stir with the pumps on an interview for culture
shirt dresses dont wear the hose and pumps do you have one of those pointy shoes if so those would work greatly better
RULE OF THUMB: Black or Dark Navy Blue Suit (slacks and jacket)
Always has be the most professional choice for a job interview of ANY caliber. (hair up if it's long)
I'd read aloud slacks and a jacket. The buttons on your dress may gap when you sit down. :( Also, the dress would be better if it be mid-calf length. People in the law field are still pretty conservative when it comes to dress.
Good luck and thankfulness for wanting to educate others! :)
a suit is other the preferred outfit for interviews. wear with minimal jewelry and hang on to the makeup tasteful for daytime.
the slacks and jacket would be a better choice over the dress.
If it's sleeveless then it might be a bit too much, you should at most minuscule walk near a blazer to throw over. Black is a good color on interviews, I usually wear a black suit beside a white or beige blouse. Also, receive sure it is not too short, right over the knee is perfect, but a bit under the knees is perfect. If the dress have a sleeve and is not armless, then it would be fine, lately make sure it fits trimly, not like some race I see with buttons popping and stuff showing, lol. The things we see contained by trains.
Good luck at your interview.
Yep I agree with Maria. All though I wouldn't intuitively do not consider a *Shirt dress* very professional. It is nearing summer though, and sometimes a long sleeve jacket might frighten employer, simply because they can't see your arms, and they want to be sure you don't use injectable drugs. Wear something fit for the season. Black usually isn't a summer shade. ~ Good luck on your interview.
I think you'll be ok. As a don you'll be able to dress more cassual (slacks), but for the interview you would want to step it up a bit. You might want to generate more of a statement with your trimmings, a nice broach perhaps or scarf.
I notice a lot of support for the suit- all right i feel that if you want to look close to an old university marm than go ahaed. But today they want teachers who are hip and and all the same somewhat conservative so out with the aged boring suit! Ok, maybe not pumps; a more styley shoe next to less of a restore to health. Hose- well if it's cold and/or you own nasty looking legs, yes; but otherwise any nothing or a cute couple of tights. Good luck.

How to become a realtor?
Question:
I live in Louisianna and be wondering what you have to do to become a realtor? I am a college student and mother and want to find something to do contained by my spare time and thought this would be a good theory, depending on how hard it be to get into and if it is a position that you can have cog time. I just really inevitability a point in the right direction.
Answer:
It sounds close to Remy 0341 is close to accurate. In other states however it is a little different. For example surrounded by NY, you take an official real estate course which teach you about RE imperative. Then you take a State Licensing assessment. However, when you go for your audition you need to know which authentic estate office will hold your license (sponsor you) . If you are looking for a "subdivision time" profession then unadulterated estate is not your answer. Even though it is called "constituent time" the reality is that contained by Real Estate it is not. In addition, you can work week after week and if you do not receive a sale you do not get hold of paid. The livelihood is on a commission basis simply and an independent contracting position. You will not be an employee nor will you bring paid for hours worked. You must also run into consideration that it is a hazardous job. You inevitability to be careful as to who you pinch to show properties to. Many Realtors have lost their lives due to entering uninhabited homes/properties with the wrong creature. In addition to taking continuing lessons there are required nouns classes that must be taken. Also to be considered, you must pay you decriminalized defense fees (annually), your subscription to the Multiple Listing Service (annually), you pay to souk yourself (monthly), and the list go on and on. If you are looking for a job I recommend that you find something else. There is such a glut of Realtors that most do not brand name a lot of $$$. If you own a significant other and can stand going possibly for months with no $$$ coming within then turn for it, but if you rely on getting a regular check the stay away.
Realtor in NY
ask Carlton Sheats,he comes on unpunctually nite informercials
You had better coppers your career choice
sources: My adjectives Real Estate agent friends
You have to work as a existing estate agent for a Realtor for 3 years first. And what Gary B above said is absolutely true
It is relatively smooth to get into the realtor spectator sport. You need several hours of Real Estate classes, any online hours or a class with an instructor. Then you contact a authentic estate broker to sponsor your application. You can only be remunerated by a licensed broker, so you have to work for one after you bring back your real estate license.
The strange element of this all is that taking the classes will coach you all you requirement to know about person a real estate agent .
After you nick all your hours required, you step to Baton Rouge and take two test, one on US real estate ruling and one on Louisiana real estate. You must surpass both tests and consequently you get a authentic estate license. To be a realtor, you must take second ethics classes, but technically you can put on the market real estate next to only a concrete estate license. However, you must be paid by a broker, so you must work for them.
hope this help.
Here is a link to one academy of real estate, but here are other online schools available.

Workmans comp?
Question:
I believe my boss is lying about have workmans comp insurance. Is there anywhere i can look it up to find out?
Answer:
All company's are required to provide workers comp insurance. Check out your states website. There is like mad of information out there, but it vary from state to state. Try Googling "your state + workers compensation".
Every employer is required to have workman's comp. If you hold an HR dept you best check with them. He's full of it.
Your boss is required to enjoy worker's comp insurance if he is a US employer. Employers who are unable to acquire WC insurance on their own must pay into a state fund for coverage.
If your boss have not obtained insurance and is not covered by the state fund, next he is in ruin of the law. Contact the Dept of Labor (www.dol.gov should enjoy a link to your area) and the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA.) There may also be a poster surrounded by your workplace (usually by the timeclock or employee door) next to info on work comp coverage and contact info for the state agencies - but if this guy is a slacker, I wouldn't bet on him having the required postings any.

How to find a assignment beside zilch working history?
Question:
I am 32 years old, and i enjoy never worked in my go. My husband always took exactness of me, and now that my little girl is little bit bigger, i find myself self bored to death while she is within school and hybby is working.
I applied to undamaged bunch of stores for a part time position, most of the applications i occupied online, but no one ever call. My husband told me i need to if truth be told call those places and inquire more or less application, proving them that i care. Could that be a cause no one call me?
I just necessitate 4 hours a day, to gun down the boredoom, and so far i haven`t been competent to find anything. Worst thing of adjectives is that little box on the application where you necessitate to put your work history, and i need to vacate entire box empty, becayse i don`t enjoy any. On the other hand, what`s up next to all the kids working at the stores? It`s not approaching they had working history in the past.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Answer:
Your husband is probably right nearly the lack of follow-up mortal part of the problem. You do call for to follow up.
There are other issues:
* You also need to own a better idea of what you hold done. I bet you have help out at your daughter's school, I don`t know helped beside the Girl Scout troop, etc. If you manage your family's finances, next you are familiar next to using a checkbook, keeping records, etc. Those may not be "official" work, but they are tasks you enjoy done and are capable of doing.
* What skills do you enjoy? MS Word? MS Excel, etc.
* What kind of mission do you want? It's hard to successfully find a assignment when you don't know what you want to do. And, no one will know how to help you find it because they won't spot an opportunity for you if they find one.
Suggestions:
* For someone your age with truly no work history at adjectives, I'd try volunteering for a charity or some other organization that requirements volunteers. When they aren't paying you, they aren't really picky. And, it will give you some "work history" to put into those boxes.
* Register beside a temporary staffing agency (Adecco is a big one). They'll probably impart you some tests to numeral out what your skills are and what level skills you hold. Then, they'll start sending you out on assignments. You'll get remunerated and gain more experience for the "work history" box. You might even land a irrevocable job. Or, you might find that you approaching the variety of assignments that "temps" usially own.
That work experience should enable you to digit out what you like to do and don't approaching to do. Get advice, feedback from those you are working for and near, and written recommendations to use for your applications.
Good luck!
Aply for a living. Tell them you are lazy, dishonest and enjoy an EXPLOSIVE TEMPER.
Employers appreciate honesty.
.
Instead of leaving the work history box useless, tell them what a responsible being you are. Decribe how you've had to do paperwork a household and children, budget, take resposibilty for decision, manage your time etc.
Check the box and put "Homemaker" because that experience qualify you for a whole lot more than you consider.
im looking for a job too, can i put volunteering experience instead?
Walmart and McDonalds are other hiring. Work at either of these places for a few months, bring back some experience then progress from there.
gO TO A PERSON AT A JOB AND ASK IT WOOD NOT
HURT YOU OR BRCK A BONE
stop applying online and move about in creature and then you can explain why the employment box is derelict.
Retail and grocery stores, and also fast food places, call for all the help out they can get, but they still want personnel that want to work there. Calling them pay for is most likely what you obligation to do. Ask for the hiring manager and if they get a change to be in motion over your application. Allow for them to respond and then ask if they be currently looking to hire anyone. If they say they'll seize back to you, lurk a few days for them to call, and if they don't call upon back. This is what I have to do for my first job, I deduce I must have call 3 times and they finally said they were going to set me up for location (training), I was with the sole purpose 17 and had no other experience except for child sitting. Just remember to be polite.
If they're curious about your work history, you can breifly explain you have a daughter to take prudence of. As for skills and hobbies, you can list things that you do within the home (if you haven't already done this). I'm not sure if online applications have a sector for this, so you may be better off going contained by the store and filling out a serious newspaper application if they have them available. Some stores that enjoy online apps don't have newspaper ones in store. So turn in the stores contained by person.
How do you surface about waiting table? Because honestly, that is probably the first article you should try to do. Most restaurants hire wait staff regardless of their prior experience. It merely pays like $3 an hour, but near the tips you get, you could potentially take home like $100 a daytime. Also, the hours are very flexible. You could work merely the lunch shift (generally from 10-2) and still be home in plenty of time to pick your girl up from institution. Also, since it sounds like you really don't have need of the money and this would be more just to achieve you out of the house during the day, I reckon being a server would be an just what the doctor ordered position. Oh, by the way, your husband is to some extent right- calling back to inquire give or take a few the status of an application is sometimes a good move, but if you conduct yourself too persistent, you can pretty much kiss that charge goodbye. As far as the kids working in the stores in need experience- I think it is mostly because the big school and college kids are roughly more willing to work more hours than only just 4 a day. Most companies don't want to hire a woman who with the sole purpose wants to work 4 hours a light of day, except restaurants, that is. I'm serious- try waiting table. It's quite fun and stimulating!
Don't shoot for high paying job. Do you like animals? Try working at a veterinary hospital. I worked in that wiht animals. now while it didn't salary way, it be easy employment and i got to nurture, bathe, verbs and play with dogs adjectives day. It is other 10 times better to actually stir into a store and fill out an application than online. and if you do crawl it out online, go into the store a few days next and ask if they received it and possibly talk to a governor. With no work history you are more likely to be getting a undertaking in a grocery store or something similar to target. If your just looking to compress boredom, i highly recommend doing a vet. Also, most substitute tutoring jobs solely require a HS diploma or the equivalent. Good luck
Find a job you believe you would be good at and pursue it angrily. O n your applications put homemaker as work history. A job is newly that, have you thought something like your own business? Its much more rewarding.
My advice is: DON'T GIVE UP! Keep applying online because they will send for you eventually. You just own to file plentifully of applications so your chances will be bigger. And it take a while for the employer to call so be lenient.
We all enjoy to start at some point, don't worry, you will find something. But I would recommend that you write homemaker contained by the work history box, it's relevant information, it's not something that should be left aside.
May I suggest that you clutch up an online job since in that is tons of money to be made online and from the company that they should not charge you to start working for them. I have nominated my sites where you can spawn money at home with only just a few clicks a day. Please check them out as they are free and will receive you money!! I've already made $4000 in the three months I hold been doing this and love the flexibility of working at home.

Well, on that Girls Next Door show on E! they had an widen audition for bunnies a while back. Now, that audition be for their Playboy hotel in Vegas, similar to for cocktail bunnies or something, but if you want to be like a centerfold bunny surrounded by the actual magazine, I would imagine that first you enjoy to get an agent and own a portfolio of photos of you made. Then I think you should hold the agent shop your photos around to the Playboy crew, and I'm pretty sure that's how most of them get surrounded by. If you just want to work as a bunny at the hotel, I deliberate it is still a really coveted position that you actually hold to audition for. You should go on www.playboy.com to periodically check for audition announcements.

I'm upset to start working again?
Question:
I recently get a job, but I haven't worked since December 2005. I'm worried I'm not going to be efficient enough and that I'm going to be fired. I hold never had a mission that worked out for the best. I mean, I'm not handicapped contained by anyway, I just can't give the impression of being to keep up or stay focused lower than pressure. How can I overcome this, and has anyone ever have the same problem?
Answer:
Get checked for labile blood pressure, I have this, it was v. unstable so below pressure it would turn malignant then I couldn't focus or concentrate at adjectives, it also tended to progress into a vicious circle. Since taking 3 meds a day to control BP for 10 years in a minute I've had 2 moral and steady jobs following 20 years of anarchy. If you have an underlying chemical inconsistency you can waste a great deal of time chasing your tale and even win OCD's, ask a doc.
blodger
do your best
Try not to worry in the region of it. Everyone gets better at their chore the longueur they are there. If you're putting within a good application and have a nice boss, you should be fine. If not, try and find a brief that put less stress on you. Some relations work well lower than pressure, others just can't..
dont verbs about it ,its only just nerves getting to you .more than likely you will be fine, and adjectives this worrying if for nothing .....yearning you the best of luck in your exotic job.....
It will come next to time. Each job take time to get use to. I've worked beside people and crowds for around 3 years in a minute, and I still freak out when we get busy. I too, own trouble focusing under stress. It will receive easier, just try to stay tranquil and relax (I know how hard it can be. But merely try, it will come.)
Have you ever thought of working for yourself at home? I really love what I do. The company I work with is great and offer a 401k plan, benefits and full training. I set my own hours and I am my own boss really though I do work by company standards. It is mostly computer work. I get to help out people every hours of daylight and make avery comfortable living doing it I would be relaxed to share details if you are interested.
I have have the same unease many times. I enjoy always be able to do the opportunity well except when I be injured from a car quirk. I have lost several job due to companies going out of business and also was incompetent to work for several years after an accident. Every time I look for and start a latest job, it's scary for the first several months but you get ancient it.
I can sympathise, I was too uptight in my first career so I left after three days. I haven't worked since. signed john aged 69.
I've have this problem before and have to first become very organized near my daily routine. Prioritize your sunshine from what you are going to wear the night earlier to what tasks you need to work on during the sunshine, then when you obtain home, take time out for you, even if it is the first hour, next work on dinner, dishes and then direct for the next morning. It sounds like you may hold been stressed within the past and requirement possibly some therapy or medication to help you have a sneaking suspicion that better on your feet. Ask your doctor roughly your serotonin level.
Is paramedicine a highest?
Question:
I have this friend who tries to variety becoming a paramedic a major, she call it studying "paramedicine". Yet, I cannot find that on any 4 year college schools option for a major. Is "paramedicine" a short time ago like a fancy method of saying Im going to university for a year to become a paramedic? Or is it an actual transferrable major at a four year institute? Thanks, Im newly trying to put our little scwabble to rest.
Answer:
If you want to become a paramedic, there are two option to consider...one is the certificate program, which last for a year. This is offered at vocational schools and at community colleges. Any classes obtain at a vocational school usually aren't transferrable into a point, but if she takes the classes at a community college, they are sometimes transferrable into a level later on.
The second chance is the two year course, which includes an associate's degree surrounded by EMS Management or EMS Education. There's a couple of bachelor's degree programs dotted about the country, but they are pretty sporadic.
So, yes, this could be a major, but it wouldn't be the one year course...she'd own to be enrolled within a two year or four year degree for it to be considered a core.
For the two year degree, it's usually call an Associate's in Applied Science beside a Major in EMS Education or EMS Management. For the four scope, they usually call it a Bachelor contained by Health Studies, with a minor within EMS Education EMS or Management.
"Paramedicine" is a cool term (and I even throw it around sometimes), but it's pretty meaningless.
In my nouns, there are a couple of community colleges that present paramedic associate degrees. They are two years programs, but except the general core studies, I strongly doubt that any of the medic related classes would verbs to a 4 year school.
What is a moral path for a college student to find a fully clad paying full-time assignment for the summer?
Question:
I am only a sophmore contained by college, but I am pretty good near a computer. I need to find a post after the spring semester ends in a few weeks. I be hoping to stay away from a retail store for once. Maybe a office opening so I can stay out of the heat, but I am for labor job too, but they gotta pay.
I enjoy read about college students getting honest summer jobs if they jump to a temporary agency. Is that really true?
If not later what would you suggest for me to look at so I may finance a nice summer time off?
Answer:
What you really want is an internship, with a company to hand you. the problem is, internships mostly go though your college's guidance department, and usually happen within March or April. I would guess most companies have already interviewed by presently.
Tomorrow: go to the guidance (or career) bureau of your school and ask if at hand are any people looking for interns contained by computer science.
