(teaching a special nurture classroom for students who can not be managed within a mainstream special tuition class.)
I'm thinking about driving a semi. Or possibly back to the Social Work grazing land (9 years there), Maybe working at the US post office,
It'll be strong loosing the summer and Christmas vacation.
I enjoy taught for five years. Unfortunately, my position have been cut from subsequent year's budget due to declining enrollment. I love the kids (6-8 grade), but I walk home tired every day. Although I am trying to find another rule job, I am also looking for alternate job I can do to support my family.

Regretting a mistake I hold made?
Question:
Recently, I turned down a job proffer that meant more money (25-30%) and a promotion. I turned it down somewhat because it sounded like more hours (I enjoy small kids) and I already have a accurate job. I infer all this, however, it is ingestion me inside and am regretting it. The company has moved on and hired someone else. I surface like I may not draw from another such opportunity. How do you get over something approaching this?
Answer:
By appreciating the ones you gave up that opportunity for, I'm sure they are glad that you love them.
Just forget around it. There's no way you can conversion the past anyway.
Just remember that everything happen for a reason. There's something better for you out nearby.
Oh, wow! That does sound grim, but you made your choice for a reason. Remind yourself what those reason were. You lone get one prospect to raise your kids, and since you own a good commission already, I think you made the right choice. Good Luck!
when your kids are 18 and moving out of the house, do you muse you will still have any of that 25-30% money departed? probably not. Can you get by lacking it now? undoubtedly so or you would have taken the undertaking.
so, be glad you are spending more time with the kids. After they move out you can desire a higher paying assignment with more hours. They grow soooooooo hasty! You cant EVER get THAT SUCH opportunity again.
Congrats for self so standup and doing the right thing.
It is a shame more culture aren't like you.
If you can't form decisions and verbs, then probably the career you turned down wasn't the right one for you.
Look at your kids the next time they do something funny, brand you smile, or just gross you happy and realize that these small moments may hold been missed if you have to be at work. Sometimes what we consider missed opportunities are really blessings surrounded by disguise. You already have a accurate job. You may win a better one that allows you more family time. Relax.
Life go on. Are you making enough immediately to pay your bills and help yourself to care of your kids? If so thats adjectives that is prominent. Your family should be your crucial job. If you already own a good opening then dont tolerate it get to you. As crazy as it sounds more money isnt other the best. There is an old clich¨¦ about the grass man greener on the other side-well sometimes you cross the fence and find out that the grass isnt adjectives that.
As long as you are doing ok at your present job dont tolerate it get you down. Enjoy your opportunity you have immediately and your kids.
You were not comfortable.........you did something AWESOME>>>>>>GUT INSTINCT<<<<<<<<<<! You will know how to deal near a better opportunity in the adjectives! KEEP YOUR EYES AND EARS OPEN!
Every extra moment you spend with your spouse and kids make your decision the right one. Your kids will own wonderful memories of when they were small, and you mortal home at night to tuck them surrounded by, etc..... and that is priceless. Sure the money would hold been great, but there's time for that following on- your kid's have lone one childhood. Regret can be like a vampire and suck your perkiness, so don't let that happen- soak up your family and the regret will fade surrounded by time. Other opportunities will come up.
I don't guess it's possible for you or your family to put a price on the time that you'd be missing beside them. Your kids need you immediately.
If you took the promotion, it would be eating you inside if you missed something prominent with them (a soccer team game, Johnny using the potty all by himself, Mary's bop recital, etc.)
We hold all done something that, surrounded by hindsight, appears to be a occupation mistake.
My theory on this is that when you made the outcome there be something that pushed you in one road. Perhaps it was that nagging sensation that the "more hours" would turn into a lot more hours and you would be giving up fragment of your life. Perhaps it be a premonition that something just didn't nouns right.
Whatever made you turn down the job, it probably be the right thing. I vote that because I firmly believe that things happen for a object. Maybe the reason be that the next time you receive a pretty good proposition, you will remember the second guessing you have done on this verdict and take more time to product the next conclusion. All we can do is learn from our experiences.
I would love to be in motion back an correct some of my unpromising career decision, but until someone invents that time machine I intend to revise from each finding, even if all I swot up is to never do that again. Good luck.
Continue to search for other opportunity that will fit your situation. By being pro-active within this matter you'll grain like you are taking act and not just sitting stern and letting it eat you up inside.
Selling/buying Avon?
Question:
Does anyone here sell Avon?
Do you put together much money?
or is it a scam and a pain surrounded by the @$$?
I would like to know beacuse my friend is asking me to link with her and Im not sure if its adjectives legitimate...
Answer:
I am a current Avon representative going on my 7th year. It is not a scam and 100% lawful. Avon has be around for 120 years and sells surrounded by 143 countries around the world.
The income you make is base on your own sales, and how much endeavour you're willing to engineer. It is not a get-rich quick plan. It's not alot of work, but it is CONSISTENT work. Any other job you own is usually 35-40 hours a week for the same settle up week after week. Put that same 35-40 hours a week into your Avon business and you are making a serious income. However, you do not have to work 40 hours next to Avon. If one hour, two hours, three hours a week is all you can do, afterwards that's fine. There is no minimum orders, no quotas to breed.
For $10 it's worth the chance. What can you lose? A $20 establish will give you subsidise the $10 you paid to start.
Go for it, and fashion the best of it. You can earn a great living with Avon.
Avon is my single income, and I wouldn't change it for anything. I'll never move about back to doing a 9 to 5 career.
Good luck.
I've heard both ways. It's plentifully of work even if you do make money.
It's lawful. Lots of women sell Avon. I don't know what the average character makes but I conjure it depends on how aggressive you are in getting clients.
I don't put on the market the product myself, but it is legit. You have to hold a knack for sales within order to manufacture any real money near it, though. If you're the more timid type who has trouble pressuing strangers into doing things, selling Avon is not for you.
If you enjoy a lot of coworkers or friends that you are comfortable beside, then yes, it's not discouraging as a source of income. I bought 130 bucks worth once, and she made 65 dollars off that one transaction, so if you own friends that like makeup and such, later it should be no big deal making money. Just create sure that you don't sell to relatives that you don't trust, otherwise they may order and never take-home pay.
It is legitimate and not a scam.
Some family have made money or they wouldn't still be doing it. You do enjoy to work hard and continually build customers. Most population I know were not successful beside it but were successful surrounded by other direct sales companies. I would recommend that you do some research and ask lots of question. How often do oyu obligation to place orders how do oyu earn oyur own discount any other charges, regard as about what is critical foroyu to know and ask.
For me I had to believe surrounded by the product I was selling as ably as the company. I do not sell Avon.
Good Luck !!
Do you want a college amount to carry sale job? and what really is a sale brief?
Question:
Every Week in the Sunday serious newspaper there are tons of sale jobs can someone explain what they are and what it take to get them?
Answer:
No one is qualified for any assignment they have , trust me. Its adjectives about determination and confidence. Apply for anything to be precise appealing.
It depends on what kind of sale job. It vary from company to company. For the type that is the "description managers" then yes you might stipulation a degree and/or 2+ experience. These are the ones that trade name sure the company has sale through their clients and make everyone "happy". Another type of sale would be cold calling, like telemarketers.
A sale person is the one closing the accord on a product that is beign sold. If you deal in, you get money.
Nope, I be in sale for 20 years and I never went to college. It could depend on what you're selling also. But, I sold home improvements during the above stated time, you might want to have another look at taking a sales commission, though. The hours are long, you work weekends and the office politics are what drove me out!
As a broad rule, if you are selling products or services in your local nouns you don't need a amount. Larger companies that sell locally generally do require one.
Is within anything to do for a teller that get "hit on" at work?
Question:
ie. sexual harassment
Answer:
If you are getting hit on by customers, the company still have an obligation to protect you from unwanted advance. however, what the courts look for is one of two things:
1) hostile environment - a pattern of unwanted remarks, touch, suggestive looks, transcript, etc. - or -
2) quid pro quo - "something for something" - more serious than #1, it means offering you a reward or punishment as an inducement for sexual advance. "If you go out near me I'll get you a lift...if you don't sleep with me I'll see that you're fired....etc."
If different customers occasionally construct statements such as, "wow you're hot, wanna go out sometime?" the court will predictable rule that there is not much the company could hold done to protect you from that. It's your obligation to inform the customers that you aren't interested and hopefully that's where on earth it will end.
If matching customer hits on you every day, the company does enjoy an obligation to protect you. Tell the customer you are not interested and if s/he persist, have your checker speak to him/her to make it clear that you are not interested and s/he desires to leave you alone. If the behavior still persist, you are being stalked and it is time to get hold of law enforcement involved.
Good luck.
who hit on you? be it a customer? if it was it is not workplace sexual persecution. I assume it was a superior at work. If that's the covering document it by filing a complaint near your HR representative (generally the same folks that touch hiring paperwork and pay stuff).
First, put in the picture the person hitting on you to stop, surrounded by no uncertain language. If it happens after that, report it to your overseer. If it's another employee doing it, you will hopefully see it cessation there. If not, the company risks a lawsuit from you. If it's a customer, it is a great deal more difficult. The company has no straightforward way of making them stop. If the company values its team, they will ask the offending customer not to come back, or at lowest not to go to your checkout. You could other file a police report and seize a restraining order if it is severe ample.
You need to purloin legal counsel. Or talk to your confederation rep if you belong to a union. Keep a log of everything that happen. There is probably stuff on the Internet regarding governing body regulations and procedures to follow if you are victimized in this mode, depending on where you live. Most English-speaking countries hold laws to protect citizens against sexual nuisance. Hope this helps.
Yes, wallet a complaint with your boss. If nought happens after that find a method to record it and afterwards threaten with a lawsuit, you'll win it as long as you own some sort of evidence.
First fill out police report as stalking is an resentment as is harrassment and unwanted sexual advances. The report to police must be done first to protect you as the employer may any dismiss it as common workplace practice or may take no notice of it and take no motion. Secondly report it to police for protection against your self in suitcase you yourself get the pink slip uno fired. IN this crust as you see there will afterwards be a case for litigation due to unwarranted dismissal.
What kind of work is it and what are some examples of how it's going on?
Empowerment and regulation?
Question:
What does empowerment of employees propose to you when it comes to leadership? To cause everyone a winner?
Answer:
Empowerment of human resources means simply this: You present your employees the power to accomplish their responsibilities. "Making everyone a winner" is not something that you as a director can do - it is up to the individual employees to manufacture themselves winners and it is up to you to provide them the resources to do so.
To empower your team you must give them three things. First, they must enjoy a clear idea what their biggest objectives are and how they will be judged for reaching those objectives. Second, you must administer them a list of resources that they hold at their disposal and can use at their discretion to achieve that purpose. Finally, you must give the workforce some creative freedom as they go something like their job.
A micro-managed hand is never an empowered member of staff - to empower an employee you must make available them the creative space and freedom to do their job.
Not adjectives positions or employees are suitable candidate for an empowerment-style of leadership - nor should adjectives aspects of an employees livelihood be left to their creative discretion. If you are contained by a fast food resteraunt, where on earth consistency and speed is important - you don't want to own your cooks spending their time trying to come up with tentative recipes for your burgers. That's not their role. You can, however, make available them the freedom to come up with strange ways to quickly accomplish their living at a certain even of quality.
Good books to read on this topic include Steven Covey's Principle Centered Leadership, and somebody else's book The Inner Game of Work
Simply creating the right incentives for big productivity. This is partially able by tying in compensation to recitation and productivity goals. Interestingly, I work for the world's largest on-line retailer and our clear program is modeled in this vogue.
To me, it means letting everyone you head make their own judgment whether or not they're a winner. Of course, you want them to be a champion, so you need to abet them as much as possible without getting their bearing. Make the rules/guidelines/objectives very clear; know what needs to be done and do what you can to relief; do not micro-manage; avoid changing requirements as much as possible.
Inevitably, requirements or objectives will tuning. As a leader, it's your profession to keep nation aware of why things are changing and support them understand the obligation for the change.
Being a head also means standing up for the culture you lead. If your citizens are doing something that comes under fire from *your* modernizer, then you requirement to stand up for them and support it. A good person in command has closely of humility: when things go wrong, it's the leader's condemn. When things go right, the *team* get the credit.
Empowerment is the opposite of micro-managing. Trust your team/employees and allow them to formulate their own mistakes. Allow them to try new and creative solutions. Offer counsel and suggestions sparingly. Unless you know from experience that something is totally doomed, let your squad execute their idea, even if you disagree. Empowerment is terrifically much a compromise on the *leader's* part.
When you discover that your amount and xp is worthless because it's adjectives of a thing of who you know, what 2 do
Question:
Being stuck sux. Been scammed into a tech degree, immediately I gotta start over again at a community college. Sad thing is, they're no better than the tech academy. XP doesn't mean anything any. Seems that it just make your resume look pretty. The longer I go, that much more farther at the rear I seem. Oppurtunities take gobbled up at work beforehand I can even say anything. Thinking going on for throwing in the towel and self a delivery driver for DHL or something. I'm not to excited almost electricity anymore. The money, the benefits and the environment just isn't doing it for me. As great of a place as it is to work (it really is) it seem as if though I'm always war for air. I'm within a really good position but it isn't internally rewarding. This available job can do much more for another person than it is doing for me. Wondering if I should stick it out and see what comes almost, or if I should start planning to uproot out of state? The situation is complicated but I've gotta do something.
Answer:
Hi Damian,
Hey if you are really that unhappy and can do it, uproot. That be one of the best things I've done (a few times!) Because it's not worth it if you are stuck and unhappy. Maybe you can find something to clear you happy and use the skills you enjoy sorta on the side or something. But it's not worth staying if you are that unhappy
You asked in the region of 5 different questions at once. Do you know what you really want to do?
Can you afford to excess so much time and money on education? Remember, experience is also as esteemed! You will get to know relations just through work and arts school. Don't think they will automatically seize you a job tho. You gotta show an employer that you are serious more or less working there and hopping from errand to job doesn't do that for you.
If, as you vote, it is all event of who you know, are you networking day by day? In a way you are correct, if the level and experience are equal the job will budge to the candidate perceived as person most friendly and cooperative. You already work there! Start getting around and assignation all your co-workers. Don't blame the system, use it!
tech degree uslly get you nowhere next to out experience. i got a tech point and its meant preety much nought, you need to find a small company thats likely to help you find certifications as you work for them. as you do this youll be an experienced professional when all is said and done and not hold a problem finding work in any city
Just stick it out. How long own you been at the company?
People can be in motion years with out ever seeing a promotion.
ask yourself "Why do culture work"? What is the purpose of your job and your existence?
When it comes down to it you want to be happy surrounded by life. You have need of to find and experience new things so you can find what make you happy.
In the ending it doesnt matter how much you made adjectives your life, what description of salary, sports car or home you own. What matters is you have a fun and exciting life explicitly filled beside so many wonderful memories you can look spinal column at.
If your not happy consequently find what makes you cheerful. Dont judge self worth by how much you receive judge it by how positive and fulfilling your life is. And if its not after seek out investigational things, find new hobbies, merge activity groups and live go to its fullest.
Can you use what you learned at the tech college to test through or CLEP through some of the courses at the community college? I did that near my wasted 2 years of tech university for computer prgramming / systems design.
You're right, who you know is one of the most important aspects of trade advancement and finding a good position.
But it sounds like you aren't basically in a discouraging job position, but are also wondering whether you're even contained by the right field.
I can identify beside that, I also have a charge with a apt salary, great benefits and a low stress environment. I quality ungrateful for complaining when so many race are working hard to grasp where I am, all the same like you said, in attendance is a lack of internal reward within being desk-bound.
I would confer the matter some serious thought since I changed careers. Most relatives in the world expiration up working at something they don't particularly approaching, because they have no other pick. Sometimes that's just the method things work.
My advice to you is to remember this:
You own one life. Don't spend it doing something you don't want to do. You will probably not look posterior on your life and choice you had spent more hours at a desk.
Having said that, here are tons of people who would love to own your job. Don't weakly give up what you hold worked for, but also don't be afraid to take a risk and try something foreign.
There are many different ways to spend your duration, and chances are you can find one explicitly worthwhile.
Naturally, you have to numeral that out for yourself.
As for me, I'm planning on doing some travelling in the in the vicinity future, working near some missionaries overseas. It was a tough conclusion to make, to evacuate my current well-paying position, but it's worth it to me to be doing something that will make a physical difference, and I don't regret my decision within the least. Life is too short to spend it adjectives in a cubicle!

Requirements to start a haulier contained by commercial piloting?
Question:
Hi,
Can anyone tell me what are the mimimum qualification to enter the paddock of aviation.I have hear that we will have to own a specialisation in science at the PUC horizontal. As i have a shortsightedness i wear specs is that a problem.
Thank you
Answer:
Legally you have to attain a private pilot's license with a commercial pilot's rating to be remunerated for commercially flying an airplane. You do not need to travel to college to do this and being near-sighted is not a knock-out factor.
From a practical standpoint you will also requirement an instrument rating and most likely a multi-engine rating. In tally, you won't get hired lacking at least 1,000 PIC hours (pilot-in-command). Most general public pursuing a vocation within flying become flight instructors and build hours by teaching others to fly at a flight conservatory. These hours are charged to the student pilot.
You can plan on a cost of upwards of $20,000 for all the license and ratings you'll need. There are several university specializing in pilot training next to a BS degree. Embry-Riddle within Florida is one. Check these out but don't get sucked into select one based upon the promise of a charge. The hiring airlines make the edict, the competition is fierce and the settle is low initially and much smaller now once you conquer the top (left seat on a big airline's jet).
you can wear corrective specs to 20/20 for example you can be 15/20 but not less than that !!
Is it wrong for nurses to stir on strike?
Question:
Should nurses accept their rubbish payrises because nursing is a profession, or strike like the fire service?
Would it be above-board for nurses in non-emergency areas to strike on behalf of others?
Answer:
This is a hugely tricky one. Because of the specialties I have worked contained by throughout my career, I would never consider striking (I be an ICU nurse for 10 years before becoming a community midwife/health visitor). I don't have a sneaking suspicion that it is fair to generate patients suffer, which ultimately is what would happen if nurses working contained by acute care settings be to strike. I can just conjure up the headlines (patients die because of striking ICU nurses or worse still, infant dies because of striking midwives). It is not a good agency to gain sympathy for the cause. I don't know how anyine else feel about it, but when the firefighters go on strike, I felt a bit of contempt for them (my neighbour is one and when he told us what he get for working a three day on/off rota (more than me and I'm a senior sister).
Your suggestion that nurses working surrounded by non-emergency settings could strike instead is an interesting one, but how do you define non-emergency? At any time a stable long-suffering can become acutely ill surrounded by a very short time frame and if near is only a skeleton staff on they would accept the brunt of this.
Also, would it be like the miner's stike contained by the 80's - would they consider their colleagues who are working as scabs???
I think the biggest way we can formulate our point is to encourage our colleagues and the public to lobby their MP's and No10 for enhanced payrises (and to sign up to the online petition on No10's website - I will edit the connection in later).
Have in recent times found it in my sent mailbox. Here go:
http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/valueournurse...
Please everyone sign up to this and pass it on to as frequent of your friends, family and colleagues as possible.
as a adjectives nurse, i dont really know either path. you know the wage when you start, no one become a nurse to be able to drive a porsche. i dont know if self strike, i just want to nurse populace.
No, if you're bowling, and you get a strike....Don't be in motion..!.....Stay there and bowl some more, you might capture anotherstrike.!
they should go on strike, doctors can work minus nurses but they get huge wages nurses are significantly undervalued
STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE!
th remuneration that all our emergency services take is awful, these people do a fantastic post and that should be shown in their income packet, however as our government have a sneaking suspicion that itas better to throw money at war, immigration, and my personal fav, foot outs to the poor criminals that have have a hard time surrounded by jail (most predictable for robbing a war hero or sex crimes towards children) and touch that they should have compenstation (i.e. the child molester contained by th papers recently that sued a council for breach of human rights and be awarded lb34,000), we just dont enjoy th finance to contribute hard working race a decent discharge rise.
but the question surrounded by hand, strikes? no i do not regard strikes should be allowed, you know what the pay is earlier you train and take the livelihood, its been poorlt salaried for long time now, so you know how much to expect at start of occupation.
If you asked most people i doubt anyone is joyful with their income so no I don't think they should.
Yes they work complex and yes they should get more for what they do butin comparison to ones contained by care homes who usually of late get minimum wage consequently they don't do bad.
They took on the duty knowing the deal so after they don't really have a right to complain then.
I would strike I earn lb13 an hour I work alone unsupervised monitoring patients conditions reading test results prescribing and administrating medication why is a professor or policeman worth more than me?
Also I think we wouldn't create it to the door to strike before the administration caved within and gave us a clothed rise
Nurses in some states are unionized and do dance out on strike. Then scab nurses come in and cross the strike file. They are usually brought in by police accompainied bus co. to protect them.
Back surrounded by the "old"days women went into nursing because is be a noble profession, anact of love, (same near teachers) Since we did it for love the salary have always be below the norm for a college graduate.
Now we are facing a nationwide nursing shortage since the parsimonious averae for a nurse is about 40. Nursing school can't turn them out fast adequate. More women are med students these day outnumbering men.
Why walk to college for 4 years just to product enough money to survive on, cart abuse from r's when they hold to call them for an emergency on the Dr's pt. Have to work weekends, night, holidays.
I don't agree with striking because ultimately that merely hurts the patient. Health concern costs are way over the top, but within order to conscript young empire into hursing, we need to overhaul the recompense system and the respect level for the career. In the hospital every person who enter your room is the nurse, even ifthey are from dietary bringing you lunch.
im not too sure about strikong, im due to qualify within 14 weeks time and right now im more worried just about getting a job. i know its a shambles that g.p's get a small fotune in payrise not long and it stinks that you qualifieds are effectively getting a pay cut but what would a strike of non emergancy staff accomlish? within theory its a great concept to strike for better pay and conditions but as some enjoy said we knew the pay cheque was crap when we enrol on the course didnt we? its just a piss rob that other people study for 3 years and engender a fortune, i dont want to drive a porsche but it'd be nice to know that if a friend of nime whos a police officer 2 years out of hendon can be on lb26,000 so could i be.
I would say that when you become a nurse you know what you're getting yourself into pay envelope wise. But if you believe that your payrises suck, than yes I believe you own a right just as much as anyone else does. simply becuase you are needed that should not decide for you. If anything that should trade name you want to strike, if the nurses aren't happy than the patients aren't healthy, right, and that would be bad for business even though business surrounded by that industry is inevitable.
But I truly hope nurses in non-emergency areas are a moment ago striking to help out their collagues.
There are other ways to show your dissatisfaction excluding the traditional strike. Picket Lines can be formed by "Off Duty" Staff. "Work to Rules" and Refusals to work "Over Time" are always moral ways of highlighting problems to Management without putting patients at risk. Petitions signed by significant percentages of staff are other good at focusing the outcome makers minds.
At the conclude of the day its National Government who is to blame for this situation and not the PCT's. If ALL NHS Staff voted for the Conservatives within the Local Elections (which I seriously doubt that they did!) it would have sent a highly large message to Blair and his Scottish Cronies contained by Westminster who Govern this country in our Name!
At the extension of the Day if your Hospital Authority has no money departed, there aint no more money!
Most Hospital Trusts are one squeezed so heavily that they are struggling to stay out of the Red and some are not managing to.
Something is going to break under the pressure and the Patients are going to suffer first.
Is it wrong for nurses to be in motion on strike?
YES it is very wrong!!
Should nurses adopt their rubbish pay rises?
NO but they can resign from the profession and find something else that pays what they are worth!! They have no right to hold citizens hostage a moment ago because they happens to be nurses at the expense of paying excise payers!! In a free country nobody should be allowed to blackmail anybody!!
It is not wrong for nurses to go on strike (they are not one of the groups exempted from doing this by law) or to embezzle other industrial action short of strike doings.
If they do not take some form of commotion then they are effectively accepting a poor wages rise and it will happen again and again contained by future years.
It would be undesirable if nurses have to rob this action (I'm sure they would produce exemptions to cover for emergencies) but if this is the only leeway they have , after there is nil else for it.
If strike action is voted for, democratically, by the member of a union, the adjectives members participating own a moral obligation to follow though the agreed doings. It would be wrong to participate within a ballot and then not be bound by it. As a alliance steward I also disagree strongly with member who do not support agreed action and non-members who gain the benefits such motion brings but contribute nothing to the gain themselves.
Any workforce that makes it specified it will never go on strike is going to be taken positive aspect of by an employer. The threat, even as a last resort resort, is the ultimate power that a grouping has.

What do I do going on for a rude masculine work colleague?
Question:
He is the IT Employee Cust. Service guy on the floor of my building so though he's not in my dept., I hold to deal near him all the time. He is condescending and ignores/half-asses my notebook problems and questions. I hold tried repeatedly to be nice but he's not to me. It gives me a pit contained by my stomach when I have to ask him a query or pass by him, that's how weakly it makes me be aware of. This is a 40 year-old Eng. man! I brought it up once with my boss and he said that he couldn't do anything roughly it because this guy is not managed by him. He have a diff. supervisor and everything. Help?! Am I doing something wrong? How can I change this?
Answer:
That is bull-crap that your boss can't do anything just about it. If he really cared nearly his employee's well-being, he would do something about it. You entail to report this to your HR department. Probably what would be best is to start writing down specific things that he does to you so that you can have backup when you move about to HR. The more instances, the better.
Job hunting?
Question:
I am 17 and I am in the National Guard. I ship for unsophisticated in something like 3 months. I am still in arts school. We graduate in a month. I want to obtain a job at the YMCA as a existence guard so I will have a post when I get fund. But I need 75 dollars to transport a cpr class, but I dont know how to come up with the money. Should I ask my Sgt. to borrow the money?
Answer:
I would ask who you feel more comfortable asking.. Have you thought about asking your parents?
Your sergeant is not in that to borrow money from ! He is not your parent ! He is your sergeant ! Explain your problem to your parents and see what they advise.
Wait! The YMCA or the YWCA mostly offer free CPR classes. I would check those out earlier you ask your sgt. for the money. Also, if you're leaving so soon, perchance you should look into being a hostess some where on earth instead. That way you don't hold to spend the money, plus you'll have to re-up your cpr documents next year and if here is no free class you'll just be paying twice.
