Question:
When I get my criminal transcription expunged, will it still show up when I apply to companies, say I apply to JP Morgan or Case Manhattan Bank?

Answers:
Having your criminal register expunged should take diligence of that.
Hmm.. I don't think it should, unless you work for a statute enforcement type of job where on earth background checks are much more detailed. Perhaps when you turn get your diary expunged, you can ask the person at the courthouse if it will show up on criminal history checks by adjectives employers.
I agree next to the forum member that once expungement occur, you will have a verbs employment slate.

Is it a angelic job?
Any direction would help!

Thanks!

To become a psychiatrist, you first must become a medical doctor ... four years of college, consequently 2-3 years of medical school, followed by one year of 'internship' and two of 'residency' or three years of residency. You will in recent times start learning to be a psychiatrist during that residency ... and it is one of the really HARDEST of the 'medical disciplines' to get into. Yes, anyone a psychiatrist can be a 'very good job' if what you really want to do is HELP PEOPLE WITH MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS LIVE NORMAL, HAPPY LIVES. You may earn a dutiful living, but I doubt that you'll get rich or be foremost ... and it would help if you well-read how to spell properly ... and had more of an 'idea' of what psychiatry is besides sounding daunting.
Before you become a psychiatrist, you have to step to college, then 4 years of medical academy then residency (training contained by a hospital/clinic after you get your M.D. degree). You can also become a psychiatrist after getting a D.O. point instead of an M.D. degree. D.O. medium "Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine." You might want to work in a psychiatrist's organization or in a clinic to draw from a better idea. If you approaching psychiatry, then it's a devout job. If audible range about other people's problems make you depressed, then it might not be such a polite job.
MEDICAL SCHOOL! You own to go to medical institution and do a residency etc. You also might look into psychologist--while its also tough, they do more "counseling"
Psychiatrist must complete medical school, internship, and years of residency. You must qualify for adjectives that schooling plus you must be compassionate, insightful, and brilliant.

Be professional. Even if you decide that the situation isn't for you, it will be good practice for upcoming possibilities. The more you interview you bring back better at answering questions. If they appointment back near a job donate, poliety say you permitted another offer. This will be off a good response both ways in luggage you run into this situation again. Who knows, you may cross path with this entity again.
go to the bathroom and climb out the skylight or just walk off.
Start picking your nose and flicking boogers at the interviewer.
pretend to trip up asleep
Don't tell them. Just verbs to be professional and do the best job you can surrounded by the interview. In the time between the interview and when you hear about their ruling you might change your mind and opt you want the job. Best to keep hold of your options overt.
While that is without blemish acceptable, the company would not supply you the same courtesy.

Finish the interview...here may be some redeeming quality.

What company is a well-mannered start for someone breaking into the insurance industry as a fresh agent?

Question:
I am looking at making a semi-career change. I am currently within sales and would similar to to switch to insurance sales. What company is a worthy choice for someone in my situation? I currently do not enjoy any licenses. I don't hold a problem taking the exams and I have severely strong sales skills. Any information will be extremely accommodating. I am looking for an entry level position near base plus commission to start.

Answers:
That is a great examine. I am going to give you a website to start at. http://www.naifa.org. First point to remember is while it is important to consider fussily the company you are going to do business with, it is more significant to be a member of a trade group. The constraint in our industry is huge. The average age of insurance agent or financial advisor is around 54 years of age currently. Before decide on the company, decide if you want to be an independent agent/advisor or a inmate agent/advisor first. Being captive is easier at first because of that upfront $$ to attain you started but many regret this verdict later because you really work for "the man" and if you walk out them, they own your clients and you have to start over. An independent is straight commission, but you own your clients and they are other yours. I would look at a company called Union Central. You are independent, but they extend a New Agent Financing Plan which is becoming rare contained by our industry. They are a old company and incurable competitive as well.
State Farm trains and places their agents into officers/areas. They do not enjoy people to conduct operations every office/location. So if you are willing to shift to some godawful place in instruct to get your foot surrounded by the door you might give them a nickname. If you know a State Farm agent you should begin by conversation to him/her.
What kind of insurance are you looking into?

What is the best path to inform an employer you really want to work for them?

Question:
I have put within application after application and now I want to do follow up to hopefully secure an interview, but I don't know how to approach the situation...

Answers:
Research the companies you applied for a touch, and tell them honestly why you want to work for the company (whether its because its a growing company, or because it would present you a great opportunity to grow professionally yourself). You won't get to much of a kismet to do this until the interview, so make your applications look well-mannered (neatly written, answers concise, and all information packed in). But really, before you progress after a job, you want to know as much in the order of it as you can. When applying for a job, you want to brand sure its a good fit for you, otherwise, nouns is a very big I don`t know.

By the way, REALLY knowing why you want to work in attendance will make you adjectives the more confident in asserting this to your potential employer, which give you a big advantage.
Tell them that you really want to work for them.

But also convince them to believe that they really want you to work for them as in good health. That's the best you could do.

In another words, you have to assure them that you are the best contender for the job crack. :)

Smile, dress well, and appropriate luck!
If you really wanted to work within, you would already know that it was because of the exciting humour of the work, nurturing work environment, opportunity to use your skills, possibility for advancement, and motivation generated by the company's able staff :)

... But under no circumstances should you mention that it is an opportunity to acquire a better salary beside great benefits, a networking opportunity that will relieve you grow, an opportunity to fraternize with your friends, an opportunity to cram all the senior workers' tricks/secrets, or other short-term-related motivations (keep them to yourself), relating to your personal interests/needs.

Best of luck :)
Tell them what you enjoy to offer them and if its a man accomplishment sexy LOL and if its a woman take your brother next to you...LOL No just be honest and inform them what you are looking for and what you have to present them. and keep showing your obverse around the place at least once a week
This may nouns too simple but.just phone call them! Normally, the jobs I similar to the most I don't just distribute in application, I ask to speak to a principal on site and personally put it within their hand. If near isn't one, I call and ask to speak to one until I can find someone within charge. Then I say "Hello my signature is ______ and I recently sent you an application, are you adjectives still hiring?" Something to that extent. I also make sure contained by EVERY application I include a 1 page cover letter and resume.it help! The key is only to call them! Don't get the impression embarassed about it, run after what you want!
Try to get hold of a number so that you are conversation to your potential employer and not to a mail box.
Have your pitch in place (you are selling yourself in the market)

Do a strong research on the company surroundings and try to get some information nearly the company's values and culture. Fit yourself in in that. You might find something that helps you find some adjectives ground.

Understand the wider picture, how your skill set benefits the company and how the position you are applying for benefits you with your art aspirations (Most important).

Blend the two and present a picture to your potential employer.

Hope it helps
If you hold been honest near yourself and the employer about the obligatory requirements for the job, later pester them. Keep calling every couple of days and let them know you are impassioned for the job. It worked for me, and the employer even told me that out of adjectives the interviews, I was the solitary one who bothered to keep calling until I get an answer yes or no for the job. Obviously, the answer from the employer be yes. I have be in the commission now for 1.5 years and loving it.

Hope this help. Good luck!

Having a tough time coming up near credible work option?

Question:
i really like designing things and making them look worthy. making them work. making them logical, pracitcal, and convieniant. i am obbsessed with the appearance of things.

ive thought in the region of the following:
graphic design
architechture
craze design
interior design
beautition

but none of these seem practical, they seem to be risky and low income...any ideas?

Answers:
architecture is not a low income profession and graphic artists, fad designers and interior designers can also make dignified incomes. Beauticians are limited within regards to their incomes compared to the others and doesn't really hold any connection to design. interior/graphic/architecture are related and fashion/beauty are repeatedly linked together adjectives require some type of specialized education. check out this site it have some other options to consider and give the requirements that each entail. that may help you desire.
http://www.design.iastate.edu/careersind...
Just do what you want to do. Don't get me wrong. Money is key. But let's not forget the importance of doing what you relish. If you choose something that you aren't passionate in the order of, you'll just fall up miserable in the bring to a close. Trust me.
Architecture is realistic if you are of a mind to put in the time, as is pictographic design and may I suggest if you enjoy computers and design possibly looking into web nouns which is less resembling programming and more graphically orientated.

I would appreciate for someone to forward information on "resume writing" minus cost Internet site.

Question:
a resume writing and the interviewing preparation website/websites without paying for the info.

Answers:
A resume is a concise summary of adjectives the information about us: schooling, work experience, achievements and other personal details, that will interest an employer. Although our prospective employer will read our cover reminder before our resume, the note will just accentuate a few of the many facts that we include surrounded by a well-organized resume.

There is a somewhat standard form for detailing information about ourselves, and employer expect us to submit it in a well-known way. The following section discuss the possible content and manner of presentation for our resume.

1. Heading. Resumes are usually head with our given name, address and telephone number. This information may any be centered at the top of the page or placed in the top left-hand corner.

2. Career Goal. Our craft goal, which follows our personal authorization, is one entry that every employer is interested in. We must be specific as we can, register our immediate dream and not some vague adjectives dream.

3. Job Position Being Applied For. We must specify the position we are applying for. Examples: systems analyst, account executive, securities analyst, etc. This position must be related to our trade goal.

4. Education and Training. This leading section should state the most considerable qualifications we can proffer for the job we are applying for. If it is work experience, that portion should come next. If it is our college background explicitly more important, place it first.

In any case, we must tailor our recommendation to fit the job requirements. This does not be set to, however, that we are to falsify the information we provide. It simply mode that we are to pick out those qualifications that enjoy the most direct relationship to the job for which we are applying. For example, suppose we are applying for the position of marketplace researcher. The person who read our resume will not be interested in finding out that we have taken courses in baking, orchid raise or canteen operation. They will not also be interested in research that we have worked as a banker in a dune. But this person will be interested surrounded by reading about our experience surrounded by research, or if our educational environment is in calculation, statistics, etc, and if we had taken a speed-reading course.

The most adjectives way to describe our childhood is to list any university, college, or vocational arts school we have attended beside the dates of attendance and any diplomas or certificate we have obtain. We always place our most recent enriching experience at the top of the list and work support from there.

If we want to stress our nurture, we may want to include our major enclosed space of study and the names of significant courses, which we own completed. We may also want to list any honors or awards we hold received.

A prospective employer is looking for evidence of leadership potential, social poise, and interest surrounded by a broad enough collection of activities to brand name us an interesting person. Therefore, we could inventory our extra-curricular activities contained by which we had taken division and list down the positions we held within campus or school organization.

5. Work Experience. There are two acceptable ways of presenting our work surroundings. The most common is to register our jobs contained by chronological order, next to the present or the most recent one heading the list. With such an arrangement, the prospective employer can readily detect our progress or promotions. If we use this format, we should show the following:

a.Position held
b.Name and location of company
c.Date the position be held
d.Achievement in the position
e.Reason for departure

In addition, we can strengthen our presentation by including the following:

a.Duties (emphasize responsibilities)
b.Name of on the spot superior (if the person is still in that and might be a good reference)
c.Job title (e.g. systems analyst, area sales principal, etc.)

If on the other hand, our experience is dotted, or we have done seriously
Volunteer activities, or if our employment history is spotty; a functional resume can turn unrelated comings and goings into a coherent business background. When we use this format, our experience is nominated under descriptive category. In this way, a general variety of activities--paid or volunteer-- interspersed near inactive period, can be presented to our advantage.

6. Personal Details. Personal notes include gender, age, date and place of birth, see, religion (optional), marital status (including number of children), strength, height, counterweight, interests and hobbies.

7. References. Applicants for a job are usually requested to pass the names of at lowest three persons who can be asked or call to speak about us. The most appropriate people include present or former employers, teacher, and other professionals. Also acceptable is a role reference whose signature or occupation is respected.

If we include references surrounded by our resume, we must give respectively individual's name, title, cleaning (if any), address and telephone number. If we choose to provide the prospective employer near references at the time of the interview, we brand the following notation on our resume: REFERENCES: Will be supplied upon request. In either casing, we must ask permission from the character before including his/her term as reference.

THE COMPLETED RESUME

Finally, our completed resume must be concise, capably organized, and easy to read. The length should be one page or two page, at most. After all, we are summarizing our most essential qualifications for a unusual job, not describing the story of our life.

Appearance, too, is a enormously important factor to the over-all presentation of our resume. We must be cautious not to overcrowd or spread out the information on a page. We should also have our resume cooperatively typed or printed single-space on 8 1/2" x 11" good power white bond paper. One, which is handwritten, or full of poorly made corrections will probably not be read at adjectives.

Honesty is a very meaningful factor in a resume. Phony degree or schools will be discovered. We should not also exaggerate our accomplishments.

Our resume should show progress, advancement and ambition. A fitting resume must get us at smallest an interview.

Seven Tips for Effective Resume Writing

Pay attention to detail—Don't cut corners by, for instance, not proofreading the cover memo, failing to include information the hiring manager asked for, or instigation the cover letter "Dear Sir or Madam" when the hiring manager's label is on the company web site. Take the time to trademark sure the correspondence and information sent is correct and error-free.
Do the basics—Proofread for spelling, grammar, and tone, and clear sure you have followed the instructions of the employer. Firing sour an e-mail is a convenient method of communication. However, don't let the sloppy humour and informality of e-mail correspondence seep into your communications—whether it's e-mailed or written—with potential employer.
Construct an effective resume—Organize your information contained by a logical fashion and preserve descriptions clear and to the point. Include as much work experience as possible, even if it obviously doesn't relate to the employment you are seeking. Also, use a simple, easy-to-read font.
Customize their response—Address the hiring manager directly, and include the term of the company and the position for which it is hiring in your cover letter/e-mail response.
Make it flowing for the hiring manager—Use your name and the word "resume" within your e-mail header so it's easy to identify. If the employer asks for information—such as reference or writing samples—provide it.
Focus on what you bring to the employer, not what you want from the job—This is an opportunity for you to market yourself and stand out from the other candidate. What can you do to make the hiring manager's duration easier? What can you do to help the company?
Be professional—You won't be taken seriously if you don't hold e-mail or voice mail/answering machine. If you don't own e-mail, set up a free account through Yahoo! and Hotmail. Provide the recruiter near a cell phone number if your voice mail/answering machine doesn't pick up when you are online. Also, it's a biddable idea to ditch the cute e-mail address or voice mail/answering gadget messages in favor of something that sounds professional.
I don't enjoy a website to offer but I will read out this, in your cover message and resume, you have approximately 15 second to catch the employer's attention. Therefore, put the most considerable things at the very origination. The employer has several resumes to go through, so more habitually than not, they will read the first 15 seconds of respectively one and if they don't catch their attention surrounded by that time they will move onto the next. Best of luck :)

What looks beter for college French or Spanish or are they both treated duplicate?

Question:
I have to filch Latin for one year but after that do not want to take it again, so I will steal summer classes to be able to procure to French or Spanish IV or higher.

I do not plan on staying surrounded by the US after college so the whole Spanish speakers is no big concordat to me, unless there are alot contained by Europe so I was thinking French would be better after too is it used widely within Europe (I would live in UK)

Answers:
French is Nice but, Spanish is more practical. If you're going to progress for higher lifestyles of living french may be best but eventually you could cram them both. You sound as if you know already that french is for you so embezzle that. That's what I did as well. Very apposite choice
I think it depends more on what stratum language you would finish next to. If it's between French II or Spanish IV, then walk with Spanish. It will look better on your CV overall. Plus, the more fluent you are, the more adjectives it will be.

French is incredible to know in Europe. Something roughly speaking knowing how to speak it, even if it's in a horrible, formal, accent way, really help open relatives up.

Spanish is incredible because it is, at least contained by my opinion, much easier to nick on after Latin. I have also found it is easier to swot other languages after study it. (Italian for one.)

You have to know how to convince a fishboat captain to hire you. That's really what it boils down to. They are looking for physical strength, keenness to work very complex in precarious conditions, and an understanding that you will be the most junior accomplice of a team where on earth everyone's effort counts and mistakes cost lives. Cooks and diesel mechanics commonly get somewhat preference, but the lone way a deckhand can revise the job is to do it. Turnover is adequate that if you keep looking for work you'll find it, but you enjoy to go ask for the career in human being and show some hustle at whatever you're working at surrounded by the meantime.
I spent so much time trying to help a guy seize real info. on these job - it was abundantly of trouble just to achieve in touch so I call Alaska and just started asking who know - unfortunately due to deeply of new law those jobs are tougher and tougher to acquire. Especially just only just, crab fishers have be disappointed because their fishing limits enjoy been set where on earth as before they could capture unlimited amounts to bring in the bucks. So, formerly you spend your time finding out about requirements, research more around the recent changes.

Does my employer stipulation to money minimum wage?

Question:
The current minimum wage in Virginia is $5.15, and it will be going up to $5.85 subsequent month (my work starts at $5.50 now).

I work at a golf course and there are give or take a few 17 bagroom employees. About 13 of us carry tips, so we make more than minimum wage; however, almost 4 people are on the driving inventory, where they do not engender tips. Therefore, if they continue to generate $5.50 (the starting pay), then they will be below minimum wage AND not reception any tips. Will our employer be required to pay us at tiniest $5.85 (the new minimum wage)? Any info would be greatly appreciated. I don't infer they are going to pay us more, but I want to find out if the canon requires them to.

Answers:
The four who don't get tipped will own their wages increased to at least $5.85/hr.

For the rest of you, as long as your wage + tips is at tiniest $5.85/hr, your wage can be less than the minimum.

Now, if the driving list shifts are rotated among all of you: that still applies. If your wage + tips is at tiniest the minimum (over the entire pay time of year, by the way) your wage can be less than the minimum.

There is in truth a separate, much lower, minimum wage for tipped employees, but again, the wage + tips own to be at least the difficult amount.
If that's the law afterwards YES!
My advice to you is see the labor department in your state. Their inference would be more authoritative than anyone else.

Peace and blessings!
