Extremely tough ruling, concerning two job! Help!!?

Question:
Job 1.) Been here for 3 weeks. Great work environment. Technical recruiter. 32k plus commissions. No 401k. 10 minutes away from my house.

Job 2.) Just got submission. Huge firm. Customer service representative. 35k plus commissions. 401k. 35 minutes away from house. $4 toll a day.

So torn.exceedingly hard verdict, and I have to nickname the guy back contained by an hour to tell him if Im gonna thieve it or not. Guys help me out!!

Answers:
it come across like money sage it close no big difference. where you are getting 32K your good on gas and toll. Both require you to be on phone a lot. I'm not big enthusiast of 401k unless your older.
Did you see the work environment of the up to date place?
Did you get to stumble upon your manager?
Maybe that will sustain you to decide.
Sometimes more money doesn't imply better place. It also can mean more work and more stress.
To be honest I don't see big difference within both jobs.
In customer Service you call for a lot moderation and your on phone alottttttttttttt more.
I think after a while customer service can be boring.
To be honest I to some extent stay in JOb 1 if I be you.
You say its 35min drive the second post is it 35min at rush hrs

say yes to him immediately if you need more time to deem and later if you shift your mind let him know that its no.

Plus if you want you can move about home at lunch time if u stay in errand 1
I'd be cautious in the order of #2. Generally good companies don't pressure empire like that.
Wonder what happen to the last guy. etc.
You didn't include robustness beni's. How do they compare? Is growth potential the same contained by both companies? Based on title, Tech recruiter would open like mad more avenues than customer service rep. Also, I like the perception of being closer to home. Pay isn't that much different.

I would right to be heard job 1.
$3,000 a year more isn't worth the hassle of the commute if you own equal opportunity at both firms for commissions. Technical Recruiter sounds like more of a growth position than Customer Service Representative which sounds approaching a dead expiration job.
I would stay near job #1. This grass is not other greener...
Take the $4.00 per day that you would hold spent in toll and put it up for retirement.
Your first responsibility is to yourself. You should do what is best for you, and your current employer will construe.

I'm assuming this is a sales chore because there are commissions. If you suddenly stopped making sale, your employer would drop you like a hot potato and be aware of no remorse. His job is to look out for -him-, and your mission is to look out for -you-.
That's a tuff one. But, which one will you be more happy next to? You also have to remember that you might hold a 4 dollar toll but, the price of gas!! It might not be worth it. Like all of us you own to weigh the pros's and con's of each opportunity.
We all work for the $$ & benefits - otherwise we would adjectives be retired.

Weigh out chances for advancement, gas/toll costs, spare benefits, your happiness contained by career direction, etc...
Over $1k tolls/year plus supplementary gasoline expense/auto wear and tear = $3k/year glibly. 401(k) is nice if they contribute - if not, you can set up an IRA yourself.

Decide what job path you want to follow - recruit is essntially a sales role and have potential for big commissions, but also big downside if the labor market shifts.

Customer service, you can do like job as a rep for years, or move into running eventually - however many customer service job are being outsourced overseas currently so it's not a real protected occupation.

My choice would probably be to stay in the recruiter role - the upside doesn't give the impression of being significant enough to me to claim the change.

Good luck, doesn`t matter what you decide.
I regard as the job you already hold sounds great and it's close to home. You probably wouldn't be much better off after paying the toll every daylight - and then there's the extra 25 minutes traveling time to consider - that could be extra time to snooze every morning - which is other rather nice. But it's up to you. I'd probably simply stick with the first one. ;-)
Job 1. If you approaching it, it's close (meaning you have more time for you, smaller quantity gas $) then I'd say aloud stay there. You can other invest for retirement on your own. Also doesn't mean you can't still look for a living better than Job 1 or 2.

Job 2. 25mins a day x 261 working days = 6525 minutes(108 hours). At 3k a year extra that's $27 dollars an hour for your time? Sounds flawless even with the 4 dollar toll.

Ultimately it depends on what make you happy.
Neither opportunity position, either present or offered may be an appropriate choice, apart from net, benefits and closeness since you are working closing with other Technical recruiters, some of whom may not be "team" players and exert a large amount of "stress" on you to perform. Having a "comfort" zone at work is the most central ingredient and surely overshadows your earlier criteria. Do you want to work at a company contained by which you hate the citizens you work with? Again, re-evaluate the "comfort" zone concept since taking any further action.

I take out an instance where an attorney chose to take off a "comfortable" position at a prestigious law firm for a more lucrative position at another prestigious regulation firm. He lasted smaller number than three months at the new firm and returned to his previous tenet firm, because he didn't want to work so many hours at a "factory." Again, this illustrate the fact that no amount of money can supplant an even pace, less stressful decree practice.

Good luck!

What type of post can a recent MBA grad bring back beside no previous work experience?

Question:
Most of the jobs I enjoy looked at that wants you to hold a Masters degree, also requirements experience. Most of the entry level job that only wishes a Bachelors degree, I have a feeling that the employers probably think that I am overqualified.

Answers:
Good luck, that's all I can say-so. Unless you went to a top 20 business university, which is unlikely with no biz experience, you're going to hold a tough time. Especially since your Alma Mater doesn't seem to be helping you out as far as the livelihood search.
You can try consulting firms (Accenture) or financial services firms (Merrell Lynch) they enjoy MBA internships. Also consulting and finance are the two top industries for MBA grads.
I'd try getting into a control training program with a substantial well-respected company. Work your butt off to grasp experience.
Good luck!
No matter what stratum you are at, the job go through is difficult for most people. Just hang on to looking and you will find something for yourself.

Generally someone with an MBA is more expected to be considered for management type positions such as program/project chief or a person responsible for confident business activities. It will depend somewhat on your grazing land of concentration.

As some have mentioned, and something I've see, a new MBA can work for a consulting company such as Deloitt and Touche or Accenture.

Recourse against cpa?

Question:
s corpor wanted to purchase a vehicle contained by 2006 and take plus of the 25,000.00 deduction, cpa advise to wait a few months because they wouldn't enjoy a tax liability within 2006...
He was wrong and presently there is a huge charge liability. Do we have any recourse for his bleak advice? Didn't he enjoy a duty to his clients?

Answers:
It's really hard to articulate without adjectives the details.
#1) WHEN did the CPA give you this proposal? Circumstances can change throughout the year. Maybe it be good counsel when you received it, but something happened near the s-corp or with legislation to tuning the tax position surrounded by the last few months of the levy year?
#2) What material did you provide to the CPA beforehand he/she gave you this proposal? The CPA's advice is one and only as good as the information the taxpayer provides...Garbage within --> Garbage out.
#3) Do you have it within writing? Even if you do have it within writing, I am sure the CPA has included a clause contained by there that the suggestion is based on information PROVIDED BY THE TAXPAYER and that circumstances could metamorphose later surrounded by the year based on taxpayer schedule and/or legislation changes. This clause would also state that it is the taxpayer's responsibility to find an updated opinion.
#4) Does the CPA firm(?) state that they will serve a taxpayer out when the taxpayer was given bleak advice? Will they discount the fee, etc?

CPA's do owe a duty to the taxpayer (withn court limitations), but they are also trained well to cover their 'you-know-what's.' If you own it in writing, fundamental the end of the excise year, and you provided the CPA with adjectives the material they neeeded contained by order to generate the decision, consequently you may be able to sue. You would enjoy to find a good attorney.
Hmmm. Malpractice Suit?
Unfortunately, there is probably nil recourse unless you had this arrangement surrounded by writing, but even then, the open market dictated the outcome, not the CPA.
If the CPA is your CPA and his advice be given during an ongoing fiduciary relationship, you likely enjoy a professional negligence claim. However, if he was basically a friend who happens to be a CPA who suggested you hang around - not likely you enjoy any recourse.

Question:
if u go to a local community college, later law academy , both with exceptionally low gpa , ur still better than someone working at mcdonalds ,right?, but whats ur income going to be , starting out? and the later climax or peak piont ?

Answers:
You're unlikely to get into even a mediocre ruling school near a low GPA.

But say you did, and you graduate. You might find your first brief pays as little as $12,000 a year, probably working for a small-town DA's office. Or you might set up a private practice, catch very little business, lose your few contingency cases, and brand name nothing.

The hitch is that the McDonald's employee's potential have a low top range. If you turn out to be a fully clad lawyer, your top reach is many times difficult.
A lawyer can receive zilch if he or she has no clients. It adjectives depends upon the type of law and the type of situation. But it is better than flipping burgers.
Poor question dude!

It depends on, what country you are within, where you will practice decree, what areas of law you will practice within and how hard you work.

To be blunt, if your work ethic is as poor as your ask structuring, you won't earn much!
You may not get an contribute at all. Passing the public house exam might not even happen for you. You may manufacture $35,000 a year but might be better off as a paralegal than the worlds worst advocate.
0 is the worst income a lawyer can receive.
Great ask. There is no definative right or wrong answer though. In order to receive a wage or pay the lawyer will inevitability to get hired somewhere and these spots are recurrently very competitive. As all right it is going to depend on the type of law that you practise. A advocate can work for the government, a immense firm, a non-profit, for a company in their endorsed dept., or in a community official clinic etc. There is no real clear cut answer as to a minimum. In certainty a lawyer can also become self-employed and could even lose money within business.

On thing is guaranteed, your degrees are worth something; even if you are struggling right very soon. Police forces often adopt individuals with a ruling degree. Many businesses will also respect your schooling and utilize your expertise indirectly.

IM 14 AND LOOKiNG FOR A JOB! HELP!?

Question:
Ok...im volunteering at this boring job that I cant quit until I find a opportunity..according to what my mom says. I can other lie more or less my age and say Im 15..so do you know where on earth a 14 or 15 year old can work? Cuz if I dont quit this work I will die...and I need money! AND PLEASE DONT SAY SIX FLAGS! cuz its a rip past its sell-by date! so...i really need your serve

Answers:
Here is a short list of job which you can create to generate income:

1. Learn calligraphy so that you can provide handwritten invitations and thank you notes to prospective marriage ceremony parties, birthday celebrations, etc. Seek out clients through nuptial planners at nearby churches and temple. A starter calligraphy kit usually runs around $20 and anyone can well pick up this skill. The going rate is usually $1 per hand address item.

2. Become a "poser" who assists wedding photographers contained by setting and arranging various individuals surrounded by group and single photographic positions. "Posers" carry around a sketch book of different sitting and standing poses which consists of onion skin overlays of various honeymoon pictures bound in albums. Again, contact local nuptial photographers and wedding planners, as expected. The hourly pay is around $10-$12 per hour and you are regularly invited to attend all dining goings-on.

3. Seek from your neighbors a gardner position which involves planting, weed removal, plant/tree trimming, light brush clearance. You will be using the neighbor's equipment and tools. Again, do not represent yourself as a grassland mower since there are any number of safekeeping issues involved. A door-to-door solicitation of surrounding neighbors is required and you can charge between $6 to $9 per hour.

4. Offer policing/removal or clearance of trash services to surrounding neighbors which involve trash pickup within contiguous residential area. Limit the extent of pickup to small areas and be aware that here are no hazardous terrain or elements involved in this process. Again, a door-to-door solicitation of neighbors is surrounded by order. You can charge between $6.75 to $7.50 per hour.

5. Acquire a set of glass cleaning tools [a bucket, liquid porthole cleaner, sponge, squeegee, handle next to an extension and a small step ladder] and solicit local businesses for your window cleaning services. However, watch out to limit the echelon of the window cleaning to no highly developed than one story. Charge $1 per window panel.

6. Become a proxy/stand-in for neighbors to allow transfer of goods and packages to your home/apartment. Acquire the authority to sign any reception of incoming packages as an accepting neighbor. Charge $1 per each roll handled by you.

7. Consider becoming a restaurant-cafe customer liaison by using your cell phone at restaurants-cafes to coordinate near the hostess to keep track of waiting customers. Whenever there's a fundamentally long period of time to start a waiting list, you want to extend the restaurant your services so that customers do not have to stand around for any epic period of time. And when their name/assigned number comes up; you can ring the upcoming customer's cell phone to tell them that they can return to the restaurant and be served. The appointment back excise is usually around $0.50 cents on a per head spring. For example, a couple would be charged $1.00 while children under 6 would not be charged. Placement of a plaque which outlines your payment schedule implicit the hostess station is sufficient to garner attention of prospective customers who will convenience your services since they can do other activities outside of the restaurant -- habitually beyond the range of any inhouse page system. You realize that everyone has a cellphone and why not hold advantage of the connectivity to be paid the diner's experience worthwhile. The restaurant will also appreciate the added service you are providing as a customer liaison.

8. Why not become a paid feeder servicing the disabled at handy nursing, convalescent, assisted living/care centers and hospitals. It involves feeding food to patients who are not sufficiently expert to feed themselves. The starting rate is $8.00 per hour. The singular downside is that one has to run precautions to wash one's hand after each feed. A posting of your services [by a business card or flyer] on a reviewable bulletin board would be enough to generate customers. The salaried feeder position is one of the fastest growing occupation at this time.

Good luck!
I know its not what you want to hear but believe me you will work more than enough subsequently on in existence. I'm only 23 but what i would provide to live at home, not have to be concerned next to bills or anything like that. But contained by answer to your question, what more or less delivering papers?? It may not nouns like much but its different, doesn't hold on to you stuck inside and if i am correct i think you can be as childlike as 13?? (but don't quote me!!)
If your willing to verbs to volunteer why not volunteer at a homeless shelter. They are in the most requirement for help and believe me, nil will make you appreciate what you enjoy more than that. Hope it helps, except good luck! :)
I'm not sure where on earth you live or what is in your nouns but small family owned businesses are usually best. I started working at 14 surrounded by a year round icecream store but small diners usually need buss-people too. Like I said, you're best bet is to devise small. But I do promise you one thing, not several jobs out near for 14 year-olds are not all that fun. You collectively wind up beside the work that no one else desires.

Also, you shouldn't lie something like your age because when your employer finds out chances are you'll be fired. It's merely not a good course to start out an employer/ employee relationship.
Any and adjectives grocery stores in your nouns, McDonald's (or other fast food), mow lawns, daily route
Young lady,as a parent who raise 3 sons and 2 daughters, please listen up real polite.Regardless of how bad u want money,at ur age it is totally lower to getting an education and enjoy ur age.U shoudl be putting all ur pains into school as it with the sole purpose comes around once, and u better be giving it all u hold.If u drop out of school or put together going to school lesser to earning money,u will feel sorry for the choice and pay greatly dearly for it later.ENJOY your age while u can,if u don't,when u are elder u will look back and regret it.Between very soon and ur eighteenth birthday is probably the most difficult and important time of ur energy requiring u to make some exceedingly difficult and crucial decisions, and it doesn't nouns like u are getting the right decision from ur mother. She maybe letting u do what u want a bit than oppose u and transmit u what u don't want to hear.(spoiling u)
Show this reply to ur mother.U are to young to work and shud'nt be made to volunteer.I conjecture a little volunteer work within ur senior year in large school is ok as long as it doesn't interfere beside school.Maybe she is worried u will receive into trouble with to much free time.I know my proposal is sound, adjectives my kids graduated from college.

I applied for a commission and took the drug try-out but how long does it give somebody a lift?

Question:
I applied for a job at a organization supply store, signed the criminal background check newspaper, and got the drug check forms and went and have the drug test done. On top of the drug question paper form though for the employer, it had their corporate address and in recent times the store number but with adjectives the corporate address contact info. So im assuming it has to be in motion to them first, then rear legs up to the one I want to work at. How long should that take till I hear support?

Answers:
You should hear back by Monday or Tuesday. Drug audition results don't take that long. I'm assuming you've have an interview? Most places don't pay for the drug test unless they want someone to work for them. As long as you passed the test, you'll hear from them immensely soon.
It will take in the region of a month
Drug test results are usually put money on from the lab in 24-48 hours and after that will depend on how corporate handle it.
If you don't hear back in 4 or 5 business days, you might call vertebrae and ask.
The background check should individual take a few minutes. The drug theory test will take longer, but beside labs around the country doing testing it should merely take 2-4 days for the results. If I retract correctly, the last examination I had done for a opening was sent within on a tuesday and I was cleared to open work by friday.
Was it a urine drug screen? There are so frequent kinds out immediately, it could be anywhere from 5 minutes to a couple of days. If it had to be sent out, It would thieve about 24 or 48 hours once it get to the lab. Your prospective employer should have the answer in a few days. Good luck with your tentative job!!
