If you are a salesperson, do you have an incentive plan? If so, is a portion guaranteed within base income, or is it all salaried in commissions? You may not be earn commissions yet - check your plan details to be sure.

If your shift finish at 9:30, you should resign from at 9:30. It is impossible for the manager to remember when your shift is over. He have a lot of things to do.
If you do not perceive comfortable to go home a moment ago like that, share your manager when you are arranged to go.

Your not obligated to stay after your shift is over even though it's busy, unless you volunteer to stay. If your shift is over, consequently it's over & time to go home. If co-workers carry upset with you for that, afterwards that's not your problem. The important entry is that you show up for work & finish your shift. Do over time only if you want to or can knob it.
