What steps should I embezzle after boss didn't go and get me my final check contained by the endorsed timeframe?

Question:
Here is the deal. My complete yuppie push of a boss (who also owns the restaurant) fired me after 2 weeks because the person who put surrounded by their notice, that I'd be hired to replace, changed their mind, so he took them back and fired me. Awesome, huh?
I quit my outdated job to come work nearby and now I'm seeking work, can't buy food for myself, and may lose my apartment and have to sign out the new city I in recent times moved to. He didn't send me my final check for 6 days, which is wrong and in Oregon you must be rewarded at the end of the first business sunshine. I called him on this and he be just rude and said he didn't perfectionism. His restaurant also never provides lunch or regular 15 min. breaks to employess, which is also illegal.

I call for some sound decriminalized advice as to what steps to pinch to make sure he is held adjectives for breaking these laws. I assume its unfair that you can treat those this way. Any back on what to do and what punishment is typical for these violations would be hugely helpful! Thank you!

Answers:
Visit www.dol.gov. This is the department that enforce the wage and hour laws of which this idiot is surrounded by violation. They will report a claim on your behalf for free and launch an investigation. He will have to produce annals which he probably doesn't have, so if nil else it will be a huge headache for him. If he is found to be in defilement, he will owe fines to the DOL for each vandalism.

Unless employees clock within and out, it will be difficult to prove the "no meal or rest periods" defilement. If you can get other organization to side with you on this issue, you'd own more clout with the DOL.

You can also try to find an employment attorney who is compensated on a contingent basis (they generate a percentage of the award they win for you.) However, in the majestic scheme of things, the loss that you suffered be fairly minimal, so it's unlikely you'd win punitive damages - at most, the employer might own to pay you five more days of rate to make up for the glitch in processing your check. If the meal/rest term thing have enough evidence down it, it might be worthwhile.

Good luck!
SOunds like you are pretty desperate, best bet is to turn to a go of crime. Assemble a team of hardened criminals who only just got out of the pen. You can find them working low skill job. Then make his buisness your first target. You seize your money revenge and street cred homie!
What you need to do is contact your state Department of Labor who intervenes within these matters at no cost to you. I would also report the none breaks to them as they also oversee these matter. You will kill two birds near one stone. Not only will DOL ensure you draw from your wages, but you will also open up a can of whoop a** since they will be investigated for this evil practice.

You might hold to call a few numbers to bring to the right place, but the government is the one entity employer will listen to. Good Luck!

Unpaid employment training?

Question:
i was trained to be a sale person for two days, after that, the employer said it be just livelihood training, and i will not get rewarded. is it legal for the employer not to pay cheque me just because its a chore training?
IF it is illegal, where on earth can i file the claim? appreciation!

Answers:
OK, first, they may be able to clear you less than min. wage if you are a full time student and other requirements are met. Also, are you commission base?

Here is a link to the Dept of Labor

http://www.dol.gov/compliance/guide/minw...

It states the following, but I do not know if it pertains to you short more info.

The Act also permits the employment of faultless individuals at wage rates below the statutory minimum wage under certificate issued by the Department of Labor:

Student learners (vocational training students);

Full-time students in retail or service establishments, agriculture, or institutions of superior education; and

Individuals whose earn or productive capacities for the work to be perform are impaired by physical or mental disabilities, including those related to age or injury.

Here is where on earth to file a complaint if it is applicable. I may receive negative comments for this, but be aware if you complain and if your employer know people, you may bring negative comments. This vehicle you may be better off finding a bright job, sending an anonymous message to the DOL and giving up the 2 days pay.

Hope this help.
I think it's trial for them to do that if you are considered a free agent and not a full-time employee of the company. I'm not sure though, someone else might want to answer.

Where are you one trained?

How much does a personality working within this position sort?

Question:
How much does an Assistant Director of Finance make an hour, or a week?

let's read out the person working near just have the basic requirements for example:
dignified school diploma
microsoft organization and excel knowledge
previous work experiance (1-2 years)
A unfinished Accounting certificate.
and they've be working at this job for roughly speaking 1 1/2 years.
and it's a company that makes 1-2.5million a year

Answers:
Not much
It depends greatly on whether you are within a metropolitan city or a smaller one. Check out similar listings (same experience level). You can also plug in adjectives this information at salary.com and take an estimation. Just remember, every company differs and base their discharge rates on bands or titles. For example, even though I am really a marketing soul who does all of the required things that a marketing assistant would do.my company call it an admin for purposes of pay band. It ticks me off a bit...but, at the same time, they hired me contained by higher than the title they stuck me beside due to my negotiation. (I pointed out the similarities)
This sounds like someone who be given a title in lieu of income. Hired next to the quals above would be a bookkeeper or secretary. Maybe an executive assistant possibly an account negotiator.

Depends where the situation is located. New York, D.C., L.A. probably $25-30K, Oklahoma or Idaho probably $15-20K.
if the requirement is high arts school diploma, then i do not feel it would me more than $ 55,000 per year. per hour 15-25

What is the rearing needed to be an Registered Nurse?

Question:
It seems from early research that all you necessitate is an associates degree. I other thought it was a Bachelors level.
IS that true?
Also, what would be the difference then from an RN next to a bachelors VS associates.(Obviously I assume theres higher wage-how big is the income difference? WHat are the other benefits?
THANKS!

Answers:
No one quite hit it adjectives: A two year (AA--associates) RN is probably closer to a three year as you need to complete the pre-reqs for the AA point and the 2 year tract RN; the BS (bachelors is structured the same--nursing tract plus the BS reqs). BOTH are RNs after they pass the exam. The AA RN is set more from holding management positions. In our ER nearby is no difference between the AA RN and the BSRN in opportunity duties & responsibilities--both can be charge nurse as well. (except the dept boss is a BSRN). The salary is no different as ably. If you wish to shift on further in the nursing pen you would eventually need a BSRN, but to work? An AA would suffice. A flawless nurse is a good nurse and fitting as gold regardless of amount in my book. You can also do an AA to start & once hired, repeatedly your employee will retribution you to further your education--sweet.
If you're truly determined, either a 2 yr or a 4 yr level will put you on the road to ratification the nursing exams. If money is tight, the 2 yr degree will suffice. It way you will learn the definite mechanics involved.

In a 4 yr, your education is supplemented by optional social sciences, math and some electives that are fun to take, but may not tag on a whole lot of know-how to your portfolio.
You can get it surrounded by a 2 year program. But also you need tolerance, a good bedside bearing, and the ability to guide your CNA's. (Thats what they don't narrate you!)
To be a nurse, you have to do a Bachelor of Nursing point at university . This is usually 3 or 4 yrs depending which state you live in. I am not sure what you show by vs associates.

If you want to specialise in a singular area , close to child nursing , you need to extra 2 yrs post graduate after you complete a Bach N and enjoy gained two years on the brief of clinical experience.

Starting salary probably is vary from $28000.

If you have done an enroled nursing course certain as some states cert Health IV that you can apply for credit for the units you hold done. Enrolled nursing is a less knowlege involved contained by anatomy and physiology and some courses dont allow you to be medical endorsed(give out medication). the salary per hr may be slightly lower than an RN.

Hope this help.
2 or 4 years, some programs offer smaller number then 2 years.

Which work place is better?

Question:
a&w or safeway? i got this modern job at safeway at the bakery subsection. and i currently work at a&w as a counter attendant. Which do you think is easier? Which do you regard as pays better? Should i then quit a&w ?

Answers:
amount out which place you will like better. which boss is better. opt which job will fashion your life easier, and pick the one that you know will inflict you to dread going towork.
This is what I find so comical about these question. First of all how various people own worked for these places and know which is the better job? We don't know your co-workers, your bosses, your work conditions... NOTHING. The just person who could honestly know is YOU. Work at both and THEN desire which one better suits you. No one can tell you which to pick... my gosh... Hell I worked at McDonald's and Burger King when I be in my teens. Which one be better? Neither. They both sucked. Glad we didn't have the internet. I would own been dumb ample to ask these types of questions too and not gain actual life experiences. And they utter Gen X'ers are the loser generation. Boy be they wrong.

Plus, since I lone have an MA, I can merely get a full-time position at a CC, and I'm OK next to that.

I've done everything this CC asked me to. Because I don't want to move out of the city (or state), I've backed myself into a corner. This CC is the with the sole purpose game within town for me in expressions of permanent job.

Full-time positions open up probably once every two years, so I get excited when two opened up this summer. I applied for both. I hold not yet hear from one, but I just get a rejection letter today from the other one. I didn't even find an interview.

I've been working my tail bad for the last four years, and I'm tired of it, especially if I'm not even going to catch interviews. I've been considering a chore change for some time. I get a job at an insurance company, and I insufferable it.

You need to assess your strengths and determine what craft path will supply you the most satisfaction. In the meantime, contact the local homeschool association and submit your services as a teacher for the kids of those parents who may dearth your skill set. If you are truly tired of teaching, how can you bend your degree/experience to fit another job? If you're healthy and own no obligations (wife/kids) you can merely pack up and go. Take an extended time off. It may be just what you entail to shake out the cobwebs. You have already face the worst-case scenario and survived so what have you get to lose?
maybe you can instruct summer school for sum money

What does it embezzle to be a legal representative?

Question:
im just starting giant school and psyche like to know what classes i should lift what i need to know, what i should be interested within, what its like, ect.

Answers:
I assume you are looking for something more than only just "pass the shaft." I just graduate from law university, and am studying for the bar this summer.

I enjoy to tell you, it is a big commitment, within both time and energy. If you are lately starting high college, my honest advice to you would be to lately take the regular elevated school courses. At this point, in attendance are not very several specialized legal classes at the lofty school level(unless you dance to a very advanced school). I would recommend seeing if you can gain a job as a "runner" surrounded by a local law organization. This means you'll pretty much merely be a glorified gopher for the attorneys, but it's a great way to expose yourself to the legitimate system and see how it works, and some firms look for kids over the summer to help out a touch, since they don't have to pay envelope them very much.

You'll hold a lot of time surrounded by college to take a huge array of classes, you can wait until afterwards to specialize your education. You may even find by this point that you no longer want to be a attorney. I myself didn't discover that I wanted to run to law arts school until my sophomore year of undergrad. If you want to be really ambitious, you can probably take a summer official course a little subsequent in your giant school coaching at a local community college.

You've got a long track to go formerly you have to verbs about the LSAT and statute school itself. I hope this little bit of information help you out a little. If you enjoy any other questions, get the impression free to email me. Good luck!
You technically just stipulation to pass the hotel exam to be a practicing lawyer. How you achieve the knowledge (four year amount or otherwise) is up to you.
I have indistinguishable ambition like you when I be like your age but it will pinch some time to be a lawyer, possibly a few years,
But first you must go to the directive firm to get your regulation degree,I be set to after exams all these stuff, but most importantly you stipulation to have suitable english.
Simple answer: pass the stick exam in a state. Most but not adjectives states require that you graduate from an accredited ruling school. Plan to stir to law institution.

Rent the movie "Paper Chase". This is set at Harvard, but many directive schools model themselves on Harvard.

Take and classes you want, but do powerfully in them and catch involved outside of school. Exceptions: if you want to be an intellectual property specialist, the US Patent Office requires an undergraduate amount in science or engineering. Tax directive specialists are frequently also CPAs, so study accounting.

Most serious suggestion: be honest in adjectives things and you can start now. A lawyer's most celebrated asset is his/her integrity. All lawyers run into the bait to take shortcuts. Some verbs their careers over seemingly minor things. If you construct honesty a habit in a minute, then you won't be tempt in the adjectives.
Take alot of classes that require you to write. Its really good to join together the debate team surrounded by HS too. It's good training for chitchat in front of society and making arguments on both sides of an issue.

I want to know the steps to be a Receptionist surrounded by a hotel?

Question:
I want to know this job so feebly, plz if you guys can help me & make clear to me what do those guys do at the work time? thank you all

Answers:
Personally GO into the Hotels and ask to speak to the Operations or Front Desk Manager. When you voice "receptionist", I assume that you mean that you want to work at the Front Desk?

Take a copy of your resume, and be prepared to answer question involving real duration scenarios (ie "what would you do if an irate guest requests to be moved to another Hotel if we are oversold?", etc).

Sending in a resume via the post will not bring back you a Hotel job. They want to see you, see how you present yourself and how you speak to relatives.

Just pound the pavements! If you impress someone, they may hire you, even if they don't enjoy a position available.

Good Luck!!
Take a course in the local small-business college ortake a course through your local tech-college.

Do command workforce such as postal workers obtain excellent pension and robustness benefts when they retire?

Question:

Answers:
There are two types of pensions for postal workers. They adjectives use to be on Civil Service Pensions (regular check for life) but since the early 80's they go to a 401K type pension (cash balance) and into the Social Security system. Health benefits are carried over into retirement as long as you be "in the system" of medical benefits for the ending 5 years of employment. You do have to reward your share of monthly premiums. Postal workers don't have dental insurance (its lousy).
Not really. Better than a low closing McDonald's employee but not the greatest. More than probable they will need to supplement that retirement next to something else. Investments, another job, etc.

What can a waitress expect to cause a month?

Question:
Like i know servers make approaching 2.13 an hour and their tips but what is average to take home a hours of darkness in tips or surrounded by a week overall assuming you are part time close to 20 hrs a week.

Answers:
Some waitresses/waiters can take going on for 60+ dollars a day on tips. Depending which days and how various hours you work. It also all depends on how busy it is when you are their.

Some places also require for the waitresses/waiters to split the tips among respectively other; I personally do not agree beside this, but they do.

Good Luck....
It totally depends on the reasturant and how they operate and what clientle that get nearby. IHOP 30-60 dollars daily plus 2.15 per hour. Brennans steakhouse 50-100 or more nightly plus 2.15 an hour. Varies greatly.
It really depends on where on earth you work... A nice restaurant that has a ticket average of around $25 per person will form you more money then the waffel house... I own expierence in a steakhouse and you can trade name over $100 a night on a 6 hour shift... so 500-600 a week is not out of the cross-examine... I think I average in the region of $25 an hour.
I worked as a restaurant manager that have to go through an entire training program which included one part of the skulk staff. It is not as easy as a fitting wait creature may make it look when you jump out for a meal. Where I worked, the dawdle staff made about 3 bucks an hour plus personal tips. From my experience tips assorted greatly based on skill. People that we retained for a longer possession generally made $45 to $60 or more, only just tips, during an average 9 hours. So take consideration of your customer in the correct surroundings should breed you more cash. But you better know your product because I guarantee your customer does! You must also know how to find and work that fine line between individual attentive and annoying your customer. Good Luck. Also it may pay to buddy up next to a bus person and slide them a buck or two per table specifically quickly turned and looking righteous. Even though seating charts are made to try to even customers out amongst lurk staff, if your tables are prepared and others are not, GUESS WHERE customers will be seated.
You can be paid as high as $ 100 per hour. But, $ 20-25 an hour would be down to dirt estimation, if you know the job okay
