I hold an interview for a chore at Starbuck's. what should I wear?

I know it isn't really a "professional" job... but I don't know if it would be okay for me to wear jeans and a nice top, or should I dress fancier?
I'm solely 20 and I've had alike job since I be 16... so I'm not sure.. haha.

Jeans and nice top will get you by. But if you really want the profession and want to make an summary then no jeans. Doesn't enjoy to be fancy just look approaching your ready to work and not look similar to just another customer. Khakis, black or manila knee length skirt or pant. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine either route you go, accurate luck!
Wear nice slacks/dress pants and a nice shirt... unsophisticatedly a good rule of thumb be a step above how you usually see their body dressing and unless your goin for a factory job never wear jeans to an interview. You don't own to look businessy but you want to put on an air of responsibility surrounded by any interview.
i would wear black pants and a indifferent shirt. nothing too fancy but it'll be dressed to impress and you'll probably formulate a good depression.
For a place like Starbucks jeans are ok next to a nice top and a nice pair of shoes. You could even wear a twosome of slacks although do not overdo it or you wont get the livelihood either.
You don't ever want to look better than who is interviewing you, but you don't want to look approaching a bum either so a nice double act of black pants and a nice shirt should do the trick.

Okay so I interviewed with Cisco Systems on friday for an internship, I be the last personage to interview for the job and when I be done with the finishing interview they said that they would talk roughly speaking it that afternoon and probably make a desicion. I sent a thank-you document to the one contact I had going on for setting it up and thanking them for their time. I be wondering if I should call them up after that today at about 4 pm and ask them what the status is or possibly i should wait for tomorrow?

I will agree with the other posters. Give them at lowest until Friday to give you some compassionate of update. I dont think they really get together on Friday afternoon to make a edict. They may have wait until today to do so. Maybe they have a judgment, but are waiting for the higher ups to confer the 'ok'. Give them some time. Say a prayer or two that they call you wager on. When and if they do, be ready!

Did a quick hunt "resume samples" there are masses available if you want to give it a try.
This is the first one I found.
Besides setting adjectives margins to 1", the most important criteria for setting up a professional resume besides relevant schoolbook, is "scanability." Here are some helpful tips:
1. Place newly below your identification header [your hame, address, phone, email address] any Conditional Warning Statement such as "Confidential Resume,"Do Not Contact Current Employer," etc.
2. Always fill-in an Objectives category [just below the Conditional Warning Statement] and manufacture sure that he Objective will contribute to the profitability of your future employer;
3. Select a mono-type font such as Helvetica, Arial, Courier or Times Roman; do not select any cursive handwriting styles which cannot scan;
4. Keep font sizes within a catalogue of 10 to 12 pts.;
5. Avoid styling text next to a justified alignment, save it flushed left;
6. Instead of using tab to set up blocked text entries, generate a table and use the column and row settings properly;
7. Do not place an i.d. picture anywhere on the resume, this is a major taboo due to nouns issues;
8. Do not place any graphic certificate [saved as .gifs] onto the resume since it may be overlooked during the scanning phase;
9. List at the enormously end of the resume your interests which should include travel experiences, dialogue skills, social interactions such as golf, team sports, tennis, etc.
In conclusion, the above polite hints were designed to allow lessen of scanning of your resume into PDF which can later be text capture for seach purposes by your potential employer. Failure to conform the resume to appropriate fonts and styles as outlined above will result in rejection of the resume simply due to the inability of the scan device to properly index relevant resume entries.

I do not delight in the engineering field so much at this stage. Also the money within the field does not give the impression of being to be appealing. I was thinking of doing something on the side probably thinking of home inspection.
Can someone out there surrounded by vancouver who has experience within this field agree to me nkow about opportunity and the future career market for home inspectors. Also what are the courses and licencing if any specifically required before one can dance about inspecting homes.

I am in Ohio and I can make clear to you that home inspections will become mandatory everywhere at some point. Their is great opportunity but the liability insurance is fairly expensive.

I've got extremely tough foot and am proud of it. :-) Sheriam has not worn anything at ALL on her foot for a decade - she's beat me by a bit. :-)

I hope you will return with a better answer than I can provide, but at least I can read aloud that Moller Maersk is a very capably reputed company, and considered very attractive to work for.
Very formal / conservative (in comparison near what is the norm here). I'm quite sure the payment would be adequate to live relatively okay, though accountant assistant wouldn't be among the highest paying job of course. Depends on where on earth in the country though - Copenhagen (and also the other bigger cities) is VERY expensive to live contained by.
Working hours are regulated to 37 hours per week, but many patently work overtime, sometimes also without compensation.
