How do i answer these question so that i set out a moral indication at a employment interview?
Question:
why did you choose____ for employment?
why should i hire you?
i need some accepted wisdom on what people are looking for when they read aloud decribe yourself... i would love to have some answers. thnx
Answers:
You should hire me because Im reliable and other on time. I am a high-speed learner and I am very proactive. I can multi-task and I am perserverant. (make sure you are these things...)
I chose this place for employment because (it depends on where) I delight in working with associates and learning more about____.
Just say aloud some characteristics that you have that are flawless working tools. IE- Responsible, caring, tolerant, loyal, reliable, etc.
be truthful, calm and respectful, and for some.. incorporate a little cheesy fluff...(but not too much where on earth your being dishonest)
I convey the employer about honest things me that they would close to to hear and that pertain to the job. Good luck beside your interviews.
Well, why did you apply to the company? And why should they hire you? Do you have experience? are you a rock-hard worker? A fast learner? a teamplayer? dream up about what you can hold out to the company. And dont forget to think nearly your strength and weaknessess. And if you cant remember it because you are nervous, write it down and steal it with you. At tiniest it shows you want the job and prepared for it. Good Luck.
1. I enjoy always be interested in (selling, art, ...doesn`t matter what the company does) and I have experience within (selling or whatever experience you have). So, this company seem like the right choice.
2. I will work sturdy and always do my best, that's my behaviour.
You know something positive on that line.
If you want to do your own research, a moment ago type in this query and you will get plenty of answers. On the other paw, they are asking you to describe yourself as it pertains to the position in which you are applying for. For example, if you hold a BA in Business next to a specialty of finance you would start of by truism you graduated from _____ witha a level in business etc, after discuss your experience and how the experience and education own prepared you for the position you are applying for. That is it, none of the personal stuff.

Is person a flight attendant a rewarding job?
Question:
I was thinking in the order of becoming a flight attendant. Does anyone have any education or experience about this type of profession? Is it as great as it sounds or is that smoke in mirrors?
Answers:
Just a glorified waitress. But you do acquire to fly to a city and back everyday - I don`t know several times
Would you be interested in becoming travel professsional surrounded by the broader capacity? You can build a much bigger income with us as a referring travel agent!
All the best
Anthony
LOL!
My sister contained by law is a trolley dolly!
Dishing out food and drinks to grumpy or indifferent culture, mopping up sick and worse, spend your night surrounded by a poky room, to tired to see the sights, ready for the precipitate morning flight back.
Glitz and glamour, forget it, more similar to work work work!
Yeah, a real devout career move!
not!
Like adjectives the aspects of flying, it is not like it used to be.
I suggest it is personal. I would say some those like, some don't. One problem is that airlines tend to travel bankrupt, run out of business and have ups and downs. So as a long occupancy career, I do not see it anyone that good. I also would vote the income potential is limited.
You would own to compare it to your other options.
Try to find a profession aptiude book and take some test, see what might be a good fit.
Also you could be a flight attendant for a few years, that could be biddable experience and you get to travel.
If you similar to service work, yes. A good, professional flight attendant can receive a flight so enjoyable compared to the monotonous, time=pushed attendants we sometimes encounter. The times are equal, some are more suited than others, and it shows.
If you are thinking about this, and are interested, pursue it.
There is a great well=paying art if you want to combine two careers, next to flight attendant to begin. Take an EMT course, and be a flight medic (you don't hold to be a nurse, and the pay is incredible, over a hundred thousand a year, if you are predisposed to FLY) Many aren't, and if you choose flight first, and get bored or slotted, or aren't properly compensated, try this. I seldom recommend this, as it is individually something I was considering previously an accident. It be a dream I always did own. There aren't many risks, the inconveniences are matching as a flight attendant, with the added service of helping someone's duration, and you are paid so resourcefully. Forget smoke in the mirrors, not a soul will give you anything but respect, and you will realize lots dreams.
If you choose to remain a flight attendant, and have a payment for it, you could work for a private corporation, or work international flights with layovers. They choose the better, faithful flight attendants, and then you could work first=class.
I don't tight-fisted to be rude to say this : a waitress within the sky
anyway, just follow what you're looking for contained by this job. Travelling? Meeting individuals? Tempting $$$? Obviously you'll be staying on call and most your personal time gone, any to be with your line or friends even lovers.
I have a friend who is very soon struggeling from the job. Yes she earn the $$ she wants, she go to most of the cities in the world she dreamed of, bought LV, Gucci & other branded stuffs. But at the ruin, she is lonely and wanted to quit (too fruitless is boned by 5 yrs contract and now it's solely 2.5 yrs). " You see the nice thing outside, but it's a discontented case inside that not a soul else will understand " ---this is what she comments almost
I have thought of mortal a flight attendent before. But after a while I own changed my mind. I rather to be served by the flight attendent :P
So it's solely depends on what you're looking for.
Yes, until the plane crashes, which doesn't crop up often, oops! We have several crashes last year!
Don't listen to adjectives the negativity here - it's a kickass jobs but approaching anything else sometimes stuff sucks.
The best parts of my job enjoy been overnighting within Sydney, Australia because the plane broke with everything remunerated for by the company - room service, calls, internet and unsurprisingly the room.
The worst parts have be bumpy or delayed flights with angry passenger onboard - but that's the job you agree to do - the flight attendants are supposed to turn the passenger around as much as they can and perform 'service recovey' (making population happy).
The job is rewarding - from babysitting cute litle kids to consoling a scared passenger. No daylight is ever the same. I close to not working common 9-5 hours, but if your not keen on working 24/7 next it's probably not the job for you.
Whatever you choose, upright luck =)
I have degree in International relations and Political Science and speak French. If it be really a "waitress in the sky", I wouldn't own stuck with it for 13 years!
The those who hate it probably would do better near a more stable, 9-5 job. I unloved working 9-5. I tried it. I wanted to escape it. I didn't want to see like faces at work every light of day either. I craved group. Not everyone does. It's not a sin to love 9-5 and seeing the same relatives all the time. That of late wasn't me!
A woman once was fundamentally demeaning. She said "No one could pay me plenty to do your job..." I laugh! "Sit in an organization the same hours, impossible to tell apart days of the week and see the same those...sorry, I'll stick with this!"
I if truth be told loved all the dramatic stories and interesting flights. I have babies being adopt from Asia and some famous those (Kylie is really nice!). I really learned some interesting aspects of human make-up. One girl was crying, clutching a photo. I brought her some kleenex and told her "You'll see him again sooner than you expect!" Once a lady freaked out because of a Sikh priest, whom she mistook for an Arab terrorist. Give me a break. She didn't even procure the religion right! I always have a tale to convey at the pub that evening!
Sometimes it could be messy or crazy but anything dealing with the public will be. It's adjectives part of the exploit and the squeemish need not apply.
I be lucky with my occupation in that I just about did reserve (thanks to a bunch of people hired right after I was). I also took safekeeping with my basis, placing myself where international flying be possible at my seniority. I was flexible when I be single.
I used to put my trips together and then jump traveling. As I wasn't paid much, I used to dangle out in hostels and other budget accomadation. I considered necessary to see as much as possible and really take help. Often, I was asked "But I thought the company rewarded for your accomodation?" Too funny! The truth is that the "real" travel is on the off-hours.
I did get some exotic layovers. I go to Caracas, Helsinki, Rome, Hamburg, London, Paris, Karachi, Guatemala City, Hong Kong, Delhi, Frankfurt, Tokyo, Shanghai, Rio, Beijing, Seoul, Osaka, Honolulu and I scampered around the airport within Riyadh for a few hours... The travel I did my own is too long to list. I've be to almost 60 countries and all 7 continents. Antarctica be great and the cruise gave me an airline discount.
On a boat surrounded by Karachi, while fishing with some coworkers, I remember one guy anouncing "Okay folks, who wishes to go hindmost to 9-5??"
So people who enjoy no idea what the employment is really like can voice what they want. I know the truth!
Employment Agency Causes Job Loss?
Question:
I was headhunted, in words offered a job, told it be 110% guaranteed and instructed to hand contained by notice at current co. as I be going on holiday and they were awaiting contract to transport to me. Come back from holiday, current co. agreed notice and latest job not materialised. I know I should hold waited to catch offer surrounded by writing but was strongly advise to hand it contained by to afford early start date for hot role. Do I have any option for compensation to cover my financial commitments until I can secure another charge?
Answers:
be realistic it wasn't the agency that triggered your duty loss, it was you hand in your resignation. it be caused by your dissatisfaction next to where you are working very soon, or possibly your greed or wish to verbs.
you may have grounds to appeal to the agency to see if they can presently find another posting.. but thats nothing ore than moral or violent blackmail, neither of which I think will work beside an agency (mind you it would be a first to find a recruitment agency near either morals or scruples but y'never know)
so what are your option.. you could go groveling posterior to your current employer with some claptrap that you've thought it over, it's be a wrench to exit, could you come back etc. but if i be them I'd tell you to carry stuffed.. you've decided you want to verbs so move on you must.
A singing contract is not worth the paper it's written on.
You enjoy no options for any benign of "compensation" - you already know this. You cannot expect anything unless you have it contained by writing!
Verbal promises dont count for anything.
Silly s*d! - next time - bring back WRITTEN contract signed BEFORE you act rashly.
oh seem like we're have sort of same problem.
But you have hand in the memorandum in written, as the agency will not open to the elements on that though.
Well, as you and other people own identified the lack of a written evidence of an offerer is a problem.
In guess, yes you could sue the employer for failing to make worthy their offer - a voiced contract is legally binding. The problem you will enjoy is proving it - do you have a witness?
If not, it will be a bag of your work against their's.
just because somebody changed their mind, down the smudge...? go force the issue w/ who ever strongly advise you, to get you some temp. work to achieve you by...
if there is zilch in writing consequently that is what you hold ~ nothing!
Education Verification-I tabled a BA scope from a foreign country for a career on my resume.?
Question:
About me: I listed a BA amount from a foreign country for a job. I am also something like 3 years into another degree here contained by the US. I was hired and immediately they are doing a verification of my point. The problem is I completed 4 years of study full-time, but their is no such degree as a BA amount in my home country, so I nominated my education as a BA. In my country we travel to school for 5 years and we go and get a diploma, but again it's not called a BA level. Are they able to verify this since my university is within a foreign country and they speak a foreign language? If so would it be doomed to failure since I did attend for 4 years?
Answers:
There are a number of organization and companies that provide evaluation of foreign academic credentials. They will evaluate the level you got from your country and assess its equivalent within the US.
Here are some organizations
American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers http://www.aacrao.org/international/fore...
International Education Research Foundation (IERF) http://www.ierf.org/
i would not put BA on your resume from that country if it truly is not a BA. Simply put "4 year Diploma (U.S Bachelor's Equivalent)".

I've spoken with my supervisor in the region of giving me better work and she said it would be hard right in a minute because they're trying to get past its sell-by date the ground and need some preliminary research. I grain misled because that's not what they said I'd be doing in the interview. On the other mitt, I don't want to just set off because I need the recommendation and connections. Any advice on how I can go and get out of there faster?

The five best ways to try to find a job, tabled in lay down from lowest success rate to best, are:
1.Asking for employment leads from: kinfolk members, friends, relatives in the community, staff at profession centers -- especially at your local community college or high institution or college where you graduate.
2.Knocking on the door of any employer, factory, or office that interests you, whether they are particular to have a see or not.
3.By yourself, using the phone book's Yellow Pages to identify subjects or fields of interest to you within the town or city where you are, and after calling up the employers down in that grazing land, to ask if they are hiring for the type of position you can do, and do well.

What to wear to summer interviews within Texas?
Question:
i would like to know if a nice black dress sleeves but could be consider professional or if i should only just stick with short sleeves blouse and trouser or a skirt any direction on what to wear for summer interviews in a tremendously hot and humid climate would help and benefit thank you hugely much
Answers:
As someone who works in a professional environment within Houston, I understand where on earth you are coming from. It can be very difficult but keep hold of in mind that an interview is your providence to make a great first mark all around. I am a childish professional so I know that 'hosiery' is outdated and not necessary but the hot weather doesn't denote that you can skip on professionalism. Go for the most conservative stance. Choose a skirtsuit with a cute shirt so you can preserve the jacket off until you acquire to the building. I would go for closed toe shoes and receive sure that everything follows that companies dress codes.
Your appearance - if not appropriately dressed, will verbs everything that your background and resume hold accomplished. Good Luck!
As a boss, if a woman comes in wearing anything excluding a professional attire - skirt, hosiery, dress shoes, blouse or suit - she's rejected. Jeans & slacks are not appropriate business attire in my opinon.
Now obvioiusly if you're applying for a commission as a waitress OR a bar tender, later that's a totally different story.
If it's hot, I'd leave sour the black. Try a summer dress, even a sundress with a short sleeved white jacket and sandals. Good luck.
There is other linens and silks. But it is easier to find some nice linens to wear. But basically you try to fit contained by to where you want to work. Most places in a minute are ok with smart offhand, which means you don't hold to look like a advocate but look good. Do not wear the sandals, save to closed toe shoes.
I live in texas and interview society for my department.
It would depend on what position you are applying for.
If it is sales or administrative, the black dress is fine. Short sleeved blouse beside skirt (at knee or below) or huge legged trouser is also fine, but I would bring a jacket. Everyone has the heavens conditioner on inside so it may be very cold inside anyway. You can put the jacket on inside when it's time for the interview. Plus a jacket will look more professional. And attach some close toed heels.
Don't wear sleeveless blouse or jeans. If you pick a trouser, make sure it is appropriate for an department and NOT casual.
Pick fabric that are light shipment so you stay cool.
good luck on your interview.
Customer service?
Question:
I need to speak beside a live person in a minute
Answers:
All of our agents are busy with other customers. Please hold for the subsequent available agent. The estimated waiting time is only 30 minutes.
can i give support to you... ? =)
i know right - dont you hate those stupid automative services, asking you a thousand question and too sensitive to sound. ergh! i am getting frustrated freshly thinking about it.
enormously funny. I dont think they exist anymore.
Just save hitting 0, while swearing and saying 'agent'
It's not plausible that will happen. This is the wrong forum. Try http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/acct...
The just way you catch a live person (and I verbs this all the time) is to press the wrong button. I other press the one where you want to ADD services. Oh, that one will bring you a live body right away if they muse they can sell you something! I approaching to click "O" for Operator also. Another good trick is staying on the file if you have a rotary phone. I haven't have a rotary phone in in the region of 25 years..but I always click that button. Then they own to talk beside you. Just be a little creative. It works. Once you hold them on the phone, then communicate them what you want. It's hard to hang down up on a customer for tricking you!
Press 1 if this is an emergency
Press 2 if you would like our automated system
Press 3 if you afford up!
When the automated voice comes on, don't press any buttons. People who do not have a touch tone phone enjoy to do this because rotary dials do not let you operate the automated system. At the come to an end of all the repeated messages the automated voice will voice that it is transferring you to a representative. This is your golden opportunity to talk to a human!!
For what company?
ADVICE to anyone:
Don't hit anything. Pretend you enjoy the old rotary phones. Yes nation there are still some individual used. If you don't push anything they have to answer you first.
If they own the voice recognition system read out customer service over and over to all the question. They won't know where to put you within the hold category so they answer these first.

Question:
I am nearing the end of my 3-month probation extent (end of June) for a new post and have settled it is not quite the right fit. I own typed an official communication of announcement of my departure however, as I have never written a resignation dispatch while still in the probation length, I would appreciate any tips or examples of letters for this type of circumstance, as a guideline and to ensure I am not missing anything major. Also, is it inappropriate to ask the employer if he/she would serve as a citation?
Thank you.
Answers:
The probation period is for you and the employeer to evaluate the situation. You are without fault fine submitting a letter of resignation prior to the finish off of your probationary period.
It is certainly appropriate to ask the employer to serve as a reference!! Very sage to do!!
Good luck! :)
Give notice, set off, don't look back.
As long as you thank them for the experience and opportunity you should be fine. Asking them for a citation is not out of the ordinary.
