What do you wear at an Applebee's position?
Question:
I had my second interview at Applebee's yesterday and I be called surrounded by for an orientation this Tuesday. Basically, I get the job. What should you wear to a restaurant position? Something similar to your interview outfit? Would black pants, black flats, and a nice knit top be too much? Should I wear darkwashed jeans?
Answers:
Jeans and a t-shirt is fine. You are going to be near with the other unmarked hires and all you are going to do as a group is complete the hiring documents and show ID's, etc. Nothing special... you will take a pew the whole time as ably.
How about 18 pieces of flair? That would give the impression of being pretty appropriate...
I would suggest wearing something similar to what you would be wearing on the job.
Unless they pass you a uniform and ask you to wear it to orientation, something similar to what you interviewed surrounded by would be best. If you're working in the kitchen or as GU (general utility), jeans & a t-shirt should be appropriate, but as a server/bartender/host or hostess, formal would be a appropriate idea.

A postal Career?
Question:
I may be needing to variation careers and am looking possibly into the USPS for something explicitly less stressful. Would this be a devout career, and what would opportunity for advancement be? Is it enough to incline a family, buy a home, etc.?
Answers:
If you are looking for something smaller quantity stressful, then I wouldn't recommend the postal service. I be once a casual worker for the post bureau and it was stressful sometimes. I guess it would also depend on what position you are working. When I did work in attendance and when I talked to the durable workers they all said it be stressful and there be workers that actually quit. I would influence it probably depend on how much stress a person can pedal, and what stresses out an individual. What stress one person out might not stress out another. There is probably going to be some character of stress in every situation. The post office recompense is decent, as expected different positions pay different wages. I'm rather sure there are culture who is surviving pretty good on a postal gross, it would depend on an individuals standard of living. There are opportunities for advancement. You can check on their website and see which positions are available and do grasp that you must take an exam and they hold people on waiting list. The people near the higher score are the ones to get placed surrounded by positions first.
yes they pay very well if you can learn where on earth the streets are.good hours and benefits too..budge for it
Best livelihood sites for Atlanta, GA?
Question:
I live near Atlanta, Georgia...and I'm wondering what the best sites for available job searching and posting a Resume are. I've found Monster.com, Careerbuilder.com, and America's Job Bank to be the 'best' sites. These I truly get call from people who found my Resume on one of the sites...and they appear to get the most traffic. Others I enjoy tried are Net-Temps.com, Yahoo Hotjobs, AJC jobs, MetroAtlantaJobs.com, AtlantaRecruiter.com, JobsOnline.web, Job.com, Employment911.com. Some of them boast a big name, but own few jobs and I don't remember one time that I've gotten a response from anyone who view my Resume. I'm looking for Entry-Level Clerical, Entry-Level Production and Retail positions in the Atlanta, Georgia nouns. Does anyone else live here and can you tell me which sites own worked best for you? The 'recruiter' sites don't seem to work that capably...it's like posting a Resume into space and it never does anything or get any real replies.
Answers:
I get a job through a monster.com posting while living contained by Atlanta. I personally don't suggest those smaller sites do as much as the big sites - you get more blast for your buck when searching on Monster.com, so that's what the employer spend their money on. A recruiter will contact you if your resume is good, you don't necessitate to search them out.

Might be something to do when you were immature, but wouldnt think it would be satisfactory to make a work out of.

For the party who said, the RN pays 500 bucks a day. That would be 130 imperial a year. Unless you become a Nurse practitioner and run your own clinic, you wouldnt make that much. And a regular RN take 4 years of college. A regular RN probably makes between 30-50 dignified a year.

Reimbursement for travel expenses?
Question:
Hey ya-so I've finished up a 3 day physical/drug screening/DOJ background/fingerprint/TB examination etc, and I'm headed rear home which is about 300 miles away then today. It looks like I hold the job, but I hold some expenses that I wanted to ask the up to date employer about covering (gas, motel, food only). Anyone know when a honest time to ask would be and how to approach the HR manager going on for it? Thanx.
Answers:
I would wait until I get the offer and consequently get HR to share me how to submit an Employee Reimbursement Request. They typically pay for that stuff so you want to know what they reimburse per mile as opposed to gas and the rest. Keep the bills and receipts because you will enjoy to submit them with the request. If you don't draw from the offer purely call HR and report them you are submitting an invoice for your expenses for the interview and ask them what they allow for mileage per mile and then submit.
There should be no problem.
subsequent workday speak right up.take receipts
If they grant it to you then it is fragment of policy, and it will be a predetermined amount. You are not yet an hand so it might not be available, if I where you would not even bring it up
Was this a assignment interview, or your first assignment? If the company sent you three hundred miles away, save your reciepts--they'll reimburse you. But if you go out to where your modern job will be because you are planning to move in attendance, you can ask about reimbursement, but I judge that would be your expense.

Good luck surrounded by your search! Take thinking.
Unfortunately there are not abundant employers that are of a mind to hire inexperienced people for lofty paying jobs. You may enjoy to work your way up to that horizontal and incorporate it with a college point if you don't have one already. A suitable way to start onto this route is to cart internships (paid or unpaid,) that would offer you the experience you necessitate. It's valid, and can most definitely be used on a resume as a previous duty experience. Some companies use internships as stepping stones for hire.
Another great way to start within a better paying position is to apply to some of those headhunter companies. They pretty much school you on what you entail to succeed at the company or companies you're interested in. Some bestow full training. Some of these companies offer impermanent jobs that could potentially turn into a correct paying permanent charge. I sincerely wish you the best of luck and doesn`t matter what anyone does say, don't get hold of discouraged from applying anyway. It never hurts to try. If you don't land the post at least you armed yourself next to great advice from everyone here and you will eventually landscape a really good and great paying commission sooner rather than next.
Alot of people will narrate you "no", some will tell you "yes", and some will try to go you some BS on how to get rich prompt. Honestly, your career depends on you. Pretty simple. If you hold an outgoing personality and are honest at talking to empire get into sale (really high paying if you believe surrounded by yourself and what you are selling). If you prefer to stay behind the scene, get into more of a online or scientific role. It is completely up to you. You DO NOT have to hold experience to make money but you own to have confidence surrounded by yourself if you expect other people to do equal. If I were you, I would draft up a resume that highlights adjectives of your qualities, what you are obedient at, any experience you do have, and put a clear "to the point" aspiration on what you are looking to do.Good luck to you........
Hi Latasha, I'm Kia. Truth is it would be very thorny to get a situation working for someone else if you don't have any physical experience. However, you can work for yourself. I'm a stay at home mom with two kids. On the weekends I do tasteful in-home party for women featuring sensual products. I don't own to tell you these products provide very all right! I make a 40% of every item I market and most of the time I don't even travel, I just hold party at home and I have nation calling my cell all daylight just to writ over the phone. Anyway, I'd be happy to assist you out if you'd like to know more info. I also do home daycare on the Mon - Fri. so if your interested surrounded by either one simply email me at nsmkwife@aol.com or if you'd rather use yahoo, passion_mamas@yahoo.com , I check both throughout the light of day. Be blessed..
Ofcourse! Anyone can get a duty! Maybe not at first but later on within your life you should know how to get to a complex position and higher wages. You can always purloin coarses in the job that you may be interested in. Its not too slow, but you should be in college or university for anything reason to grasp a good payed living. I actually know family who could have gone to university and college but could not afford it (its expensive right>?) and they work surrounded by different countries to get remunerated more. If you're just stagnant then you should hold done better. Hope I helped.
