When they say that here are a shortage of nurses, it is not due to people not self nurses or graduating, those graduate and realize that they don't like it. I can't put in the picture you how many those graduated contained by my class and no longer work as a nurse. When you graduate school, you sometimes have a feeling intimidated by everything coming at you at one time. However, you cant let it overwhelm you. Your employer and coworkers know you are different, and they have be there past too. However you will have some that will nick advantage of the alien grad. These people are the motivation alot of new grads quit. The best warning, find what area of nursing you resembling and stick to it.
As a nurse I know personally, that if I have failed conservatory, their were 77 students waiting for every stool.

Well they'll probably base the question on what you wrote on the application. They'll probably ask you some background question, about your work history, the hours you said you could work, they'll let somebody know you about different things involved next to the job and if you can complete them successfully. They might ask you some questions and lately a little small gossip, they might ask about your reference, basically anything you put on the application or involved beside the application will be involved with the interview, they pretty much a short time ago go down the application and cart notes. I've be on a lot of interviews merely stay calm and practice what your going to articulate ahead of time general question they ask are. why do you want to work here, how long do you want to stay here if your hired, what are your plans for the future. and some places provide you scenarios to answer similar to what would you do if you saw a co-worker stealing.
Go in beside confidence and a smile. Confidence is truly a key factor here. Also, you enjoy to convince the interviewer that you are the best person for the opening. Dont say "I deliberate ill be the best for the work." Instead say "I AM the best for this living because I am a hard worker, etc. etc." As for question, anything goes near interviews. I was once asked if I be a salad, which part would I be and why :P

They want you to do well as much as you do, they don't want to enjoy to keep interviewing society. :) Now as far as how you should answer -tell the truth, just be yourself and speak honestly. The worst entity you can do is to lie. As for what they will ask, it could change but will likely include things approaching where own you worked before, what be your duties at your previous job, why do you want to work here, what is your availability to work (days, evenings, etc), and what your goal are. Career dilemma - What should I be after graduate?

Currently I'm taking a degree within Computer Science, majoring in Systems and Networking. This is my second concluding semester and I still don't have any plan of what I'm going to be after graduate. Since my majoring is not so specific so there are profusely of variety of job that I can apply. IT line, to be exact. I can apply to be a software engineer since I did swot quite a little programming languages, software design and nouns etc., I can also go for QA since I own obtained the chief requirements for the position. Fyi, I even had my practical as a QA trainee. Then, there's the network line. Basically I'm not a fussy personage so anything it's ok for me. (And you know what they say almost s--t rolling downhill). The upside is they have smaller number stress. But if you actually want to seize PAID for the hard work you do, stick it out and grasp your RN. You have so much more flexibility near your career after that. Just my assessment. Wish them luck.

I have be a nurse assistant for 5 years now. I love taking contemplation of people, I HATE some of the creeps I work beside! If you can tolerate working in a high-ranking school gossipy environment and own a strong stomach then run for it! I have have great nurses and I had one that thought because it be night time, she didn't enjoy do give out any meds or pinch blood for labs. You will be exposed to the best & sadly the worst types of culture. The thing that keep me going is the love for my patients! I treat them the way I would hope that someone would treat my kith and kin. Some can do alot for themselves, while others cannot do anything at all for themsleves. You can work near the elderly or special needs patients. I love my special requests people! They are so cool and highly smart. It is so nicve working with race who want to go to work and appropriate care of themselves! A lot of the elderly enjoy given up and are very cruel because they are not in control of anything. They are told when they will get through, sleep, bath, play games, you term it. I would be pissed too! I hope that if you decide to stir into Nursing that you actually work as an Aide first. Too lots new nurses hold no clue what all we do and at lowest this way, you will appreaciate your Aides, atleast the ones who are worth a damn.
I am looking to do alike thing. For me i go to college and took a 6 week course to be a nursing assistant. After the class all you enjoy to do is take a state check then your certified. Not sure how it might be contained by another state though. Hospitals also usually do a course for nursing assisstants. The pay may alter from state to state but in Arizona it starts at 10 dollars an hour.
depending on where on earth you are from you make wearing clothes money usually 7 bucks starting out. Nursing assistant work is very intricate work.
