It is tough! Root out the "Ring-Leader"...for it will help you to identify the source of some of this...and it will other be someone they fear will jeopardize their job...so they feel they can't barney it...so they do the worst thing possible...they fuse it...in an energy to stay afloat. If you can see it; they can too..but they don't know how to get out of it. It is commendable that you enjoy managed to remain above the fray...and not share in it. I work in an bureau that's 85 % female. There is with the sole purpose one female governor, and pretty much all the men are the manager or bosses. Sucks out loud, but that's trueness. I confront catty women straight out. I don't let ANYONE bring back away with stupid crap. It help that I'm very angelic at what I do, and I've got the respect of most of the bosses, because hey.......I cut their checks. haha. But contained by an office situation, it's found within large and small office alike. You will always enjoy some of "those" girls that are not happy unless they are making others melancholy. Best thing to do is remind yourself that you are nearby to WORK, and the second best thing to do is be the best at what you do. That gain you respect, promotions, etc.
I agree with the response of one of the others, that you do not want to bring this to the boss. The boss doesn't want to hear negativity within the workplace, even if you are trying to help the situation. Speaking negatively in the region of other co-workers only make you look bad.
Tell the rookie to dangle tough if it's a good profession. Ignore the cattiness of the other women, and rise above it. She was hired to do a chore, and the other women do not sign her paycheck, so she should stay away from them, and not give them any point to target her.
This is absurd. If you entail a job you don't quit. I've worked next to witches, b!tches ( mostly men ) , sexual harassers ( female ) and simply pure refuse. I've never quit. She must perform her profession well and ask her head about her livelihood performance. If he or she is at ease with her work later F the other co-workers. Stick it out for a year and transfer to another department. If she quits after that means she simply didn't want the undertaking bad plenty.
How do I cope? I run my a$$ off beforehand I go to work, I am any too happy or too frickin worn out to gain involved...one time I had a short time ago had it though, this woman was merely riding me about my hygienic lunch, teasing me, sing songing nearly orGANic,orGANic, orGANic, and I lost it and told her actually it be the best tasting turd I ever ate, adn she be all shocked!! I said hey, you sit near giving me all kind of grief, but don;t think I'm gonna pass it back, you don;t know me vastly well, do ya?
She be actually nice to me the rest of the day/ I'm still watching for the axe in my stern though, that's just the path it is. I also practice my yoga breathing exercises discreetly to relax.
