First Job Interview?

Question:
Ok, I need a moment ago a few tips on a first job interview.
Please?
I'm interviewing to be a banker, so it's not very "fancy".
Thank you contained by advance!

Answers:
Be polite and honest. For a banker position, the manager will be trying to settle on three things: 1. Are you honest?
2. Are you responsible? 3. Will you present a good "image" for their store?
Dress other, make a correct first impression, and be confident.
dress nice posititive attitude
turn there and be vastly confident and act resembling you know everything, but be open minded
It adjectives depends on where you will be a banker? Mcdonalds or Macys? The type of place matters as much as the postion. Althought you are interviewing for the teller postion, you are being grade per say for potential and I don`t know even other postions.

I would prepare by knowing the answers to all the central quetions and by reviewing the basic Interview Tips.

You can find adjectives of them at

http://www.jobinterviewquestions.us...

Good Luck!
Show the interviewer how "personable" you can be. They want to know that you can cheerfully and professionally deal near the public.
Easy, this interview will be pretty simple!! They will ask you basic question... Like what are you looking for in a brief: you should be honest a little and notify them that you are wanting the opportunity to advance and grow beside the company.

They may ask you other questions approaching what would you do if you had a difficult customer: You wanna relay them that you would remain calm and do your best to please the customer.

Stuff similar to that, You want to seem as if you own the best interest at heart for the company and the customer... Because that's who the ultimately care nearly!!
Maybe is not very fancy, but it's an central job. You know, where on earth is the money ...

The job wishes, ability to work near numbers, a honest person, someone who can pedal with several race at the same time, an organized personage, punctuality, and a decision taker.

So, I can recommend you: be punctual on your interview, dress something you relish, smile when you can, and give sincere answers. If the position will be yours, you purely have to feat with determination and confidence.

If you are religious, offer to God your interview.
Have someone pose some questions for you so you can practice answering. Expect request for information such as do you have any experience which would prepare you for this position? Why do you dream up you would be a good member of staff for our company? How would you handle an angry customer? And similar types of quiz.

Try to give something better than a one or two word answer unless that's adjectives the question requires. Your interviewer may ask some question that don't seem entirely relevant. The purpose is to see how you communicate and to return with to know a bit more about you besides what's on the application.

Try to come up next to examples of experience that might be relevant - working the snack shack at a globe game, running a lemonade stand as a kid, even something similar to working as an aid in the college office. But spawn sure you relate it to being a teller.

Try to come up with a interrogate or two of your own that shows you know something about the business and/or the products they flog. Something like, would I be working the camera counter or basically the front registers? Would my job also include duties such as cleaning, stocking, answering phones, etc.?

Remember that your interview includes how you conduct yourself next to everyone you interact with. If you enjoy to wait for the creature, try to sit/stand somewhere out of the way. Avoid getting into a conversation beside any of the employees. Your interviewer could interpret this as you person too social to focus on the tasks at hand.

If you are asked just about availability, stick to what you are actually available fairly than trying to accommodate what you think they are looking for. If you catch the job base on being available Sunday afternoons but next can't be there until 3-4 because of church, that will motivation a problem if you are hired.

Finally, dress conservatively. You don't have to be a prude, but wear clothes that give support to your interviewer focus on you rather than your bust queue or other physical attributes. And absolutely don't over do the perfume.

I interview going on for 30 teenagers a year for cashiering positions and these are things I look for as well as things taken from my personal interview experience.
the most substantial factor is your attitude. You have to procure it across to them that you are very confident within doing whatever desires to be done. Make it clear that you can handle any situation near respect to the customer.

From nurse to doctor, possible?

Question:
I'm a nurse with a BSN scope, I've been working as a nurse for 4 years and I'm 24. Is it still possible to be a doctor or am I too dated? how long will it take to be an anesthesiologist ?

Answers:
Yes its possible...age have nothing to do next to it ...that's called ageism.contained by five years you will be still be 29 ... no matter what you are doing or where on earth you are.
I just become a nurse at 53...
YES...

And I think anyone a nurse first will make you more senstive when you become a doctor....If you work surrounded by a hospital, talk to the anestesiologist, they'd be the best to ask.
Is it still possible to be a doctor? Absolutely.

You do know that medical arts school is three years full time, and you need to enjoy the grades and appropriate science pre-requisites to be admitted to a med conservatory.
Yes, it is still possible. It would take at least possible 4-5 years to get your doctor scope then a while for the anesthesia internship. However, if you're interested contained by anesthesia, you can go win a master's degree contained by nurse anesthestic. That doesn't take as long, still make tons of money, and still gets to do most of what anesthesiologists do.
24 is plenty immature. I think you should do it. None of your nursing credits will apply towards the 'pre-med' program but your experience is going to relieve you out big time with the clinicals when you in truth get into med institution. From start to finish, you are looking at about 11 years of schooling for anesthesiology . You'll be 35 years antiquated when you finish, which is still pretty young.

If you enjoy the opportunity to go spinal column to school and this is what you really want to do, don't put it sour. Time goes by particularly fast, and the more of it you tolerate go by the more you'll regret it subsequently.
CRNA's are nurse anethesiologist. That is a nurse with a master's amount specifically in anesthia. (cant spell it) anyway, it doesn't whip as long --pay is $120,000 and up

Is a photographer/sales associate a well brought-up situation?

Question:
The kind of assignment I'm referring to is the people who walk up to you whenever you enter a theme park, and insist on taking your picture.

Answers:
I ponder that this could be a good work for someone who loves people, working outdoors, who is persuasive and unyielding. If you are the type of person who can't toy with rejection, this isn't the job for you. If you are the type of individual who can't really deal next to many different personality, this isn't for you. If you are the type of person who doesn't close to to be on their feet adjectives day, this isn't for you.
Answer's still no. Low attraction, low skill. They can make a living, and conceivably do pretty well if they control their own finances and don't work for someone else directly.

The first being to push around a cart selling roasted almost grossed over a million dollars their second year near two carts. It be a hot market. Yours, probably not so much but it's possible depending on where on earth.

Actual skills, persuasiveness, etc. is not of much relevance in this sort of size believe it or not. Canvassing-capacity sales roles now and then have plenty of a value proposition to extend beyond order-taking.

How do you overrun out a post application?

Question:
I understand adjectives the basics of it, but attached be a resume' she wanted me to swarm out. How do i persuade her to believe i'm the best one for the career. I understand you're supposed to detail the truth and i definately won't lie. But i freshly want to know the right things to say lower than things like "objectives" and "qualifications". I don't know what they resembling to hear from an employee. Please back!

Answers:
As far as "objectives", it depends. If the app doesn't ask what specific job you're applying for, next list the livelihood title under objectives. If that's already be asked, then deem about what you want to receive out of this job - what do you plan to revise, how does this fit into your career footprints, etc.

For "qualifications", don't just record your skills (like computer programs & machinery you know), but also think in the region of your personality traits that would be beneficial for this charge (strong organization skills, extensive fluency of ...). Put yourself in the employer's shoes and try to muse about what they may be looking for. It can differ depending on the type of assignment, but your main aspiration is to make your application stand out from the pack.

How do I expose my boss' financial felony minus ruining the company and losing my charge?

Question:
For several years now workforce at the lower level of the company I work for own had problems near their paychecks. The boss insists that checks are mailed, as anti picking them up in the organization or using DirectDeposit. So we always grasp our checks late within the mail, later when we go to change them, the bankers tell us "within are insufficient funds" wihich means we don't bring back the money that we work so hard for and involve to pay our debters.

My coworker have two attorneys (one criminal, one civil) and the one we spoke to who is the criminal attorney told us that each bounced check is as doomed to failure as counterfeit money.
Our boss is commiting federal offenses with every check he stamps his describe to that bounces.

Any suggestions as to the actions I should bear so as to serve justice to my fellow body and not lose my job?

Answers:
The company requests to be reported to your state's department of labor right away. You are protected by the whistleblower act from person terminated for that. The owner of the company and/or whoever is responsible for getting paychecks out is guilty and needs to be punished. There is no guarantee that it won't put the company lower than, but that should not be your concern. You are not getting paid for the work you are doing for them.

Companies are required to post the time and place that paychecks are available to the team. Mailing is acceptable, but they must be postmarked on or up to that time the posted payday. If you still have the envelopes your checks come in, check the postmarks. That could be another offense.

Finally, even though you are protected when reporting them, I would start looking for a tentative job right away. Fooling around near the company's money that causes body not to get rewarded will only organize to more disaster for you later.
Sound approaching the Enron scandal to me!
Why do you want to keep the chore? It sounds pretty crappy to me!

FP
Why haven't you quit yet??
Contact your labor department within your state, and your state attorney general's office!
FRAUD is banned
If the cheques are bouncing, chances are that finacial trouble will trademark the company fail. Get the CV out!
If he's not paying you for your work, why do you want to maintain working there? Make copies of the checks respectively time they bounce and then run it to the DA's office.
Have one of the lawyer point you in the direction you involve to go.. They should know how to tell you how to travel about a lawsuit against him. You could also contact your local business bureau and see if they can comfort you. Good Luck... He sounds like a genuine Idiot.
I have have a job resembling yours in the recent past get out he will be losing his company soon and you wont own a job to verbs about. to be exact the first sign of the company going belly up find another job and make clear to others to do the same.

Good luck ,adjectives my best to you and your co workers
If you aren't being rewarded for the work you do, why would you even worry nearly protecting the company? The truth is, the law protects whistleblowers and surrounded by a case similar to this, your co-workers are likely to be on your side. Besides the criminal charges, you boss could also be subject to roomy fines by the labor commission.
Check with your local Labor Board. Just check near local information 411 for the phone number. They will either pedal it or point you exactly where you necessitate to go. Good luck
There is not route to be free of losing the job. Because that will be more base on what happens to the company. (Something similar happen to my mother). But if you think it is the right article to do (and I think you do) you should meet all the info (and you obligation facts, documents ect) and take it to the proper authorities. This will probably prompt some sort of audit or investigation surrounded by which all info (yours and fellow force as well as the bosses) will be "looked over". Find another opening, because whats a job when you dont even own the security of your paycheck one valid. Its not worth it to be concerned of your job status. Find anther one asap... and when they ask why you want to conversion jobs... dont dance into detail. Keep it simple. I hope that helps and I hope you bring in the right decision.
If the checks bounce - its because your boss have no money.. So what good would it do for you to try & turn him contained by. That doesnt make sense. How do you expect for your boss to be committed and you preserve your job -Besides, as long as your getting rewarded - late or not - he's done nil wrong. You are after all - still getting compensated for working. If your not happy - any find another job or treaty with have to wait for expenditure.
Call the IRS and the better business bureau and report him, I think you can do it lacking giving your name. Also, the body could get together and sue him for the wages that he owes them. Besides, how long back he bounces your pay cheques if he already have not done so. Why are you worried about losing your mission especially if you are not getting paid for your work.
You call for to talk to authorities for sure. A advocate would be a good start. Do not postpone, its obvious he doesn't trouble about your situation.
Do you know that the rubber checks are indeed his guiltiness? If there is no money it may not be surrounded by his hands. Does he own this company, if odds are his income check is not clearing. Non Suf Funds means NSF for not a soul. If the company is in this crisis I am surprised you and fellow coworkers hold stuck around without explanation. Look for a current job! Good Luck.
Why are you so afraid of loosing the no righteous job?
You should be looking for another undertaking.
File a claim with your local wage and labor commission department (if you are in the U.S.). Employers are not required to proffer direct deposit of the checks and some do not due to the financial obligations involved to set one up. But they are noticeably required to pay you on the daytime they have posted as the payday, and the funds must clear.
Contact the state Labor Board right away. Call them directly, you will obligation to give them details, approaching when it happened, how commonly, to whom (you have to be sure of this one. You can just utter yourself if that is adjectives you can be certain of.)

No state will allow an employer to rip bad the employees. Contact the State District Attorneys bureau if you cannot find a labor board.
Does he make them right?

The legitimate system cannot prosecute everyone why bounces a check.

I would find another job, that one seem to be heading nowhere fast.

You should win ALL of your money, if you have outstanding insufficient funds checks owed to you, nick them to the county attorney, they will collect them for no charge.

Good Luck!

Should I quit my engineering commission?

Question:
I am having some focal issues in my time right now. Just end week i scored a brief that i thought was my dream position. ive been on the undertaking for a week and a half immediately, and i have a moment ago realized i cant stand the boredom... i look at the clock every 5 to 10 minutes, i cannot express surrounded by words how slow the time goes every year. there is so much fabric to learn for this picky career that it is overwhelming. it isnt specific to my engineering scope. but i thought the job would be more unmatched and more helpful surrounded by the future... my boss is EXTREMELY snippy and snobby roughly speaking everything, and is beginning to engineer me his lackey, asking me to drive here and there to deliver drawings and whatnot... i seize no appreciation for the things ive designed for him so far, and i am beginning to reason that any type of engineering in common is not a career i could savour and stay interested in throughout my energy. it is in reality depressing me greatly... should i quit this job? Please include much warning.

Answers:
There are only three doors for every available job.

Door #1 . Status quo. Suck it up, say zilch, and drive on through the dribble. This will lead you to a meaningless existence if you can't stand your brief.

Door#2. Work with your supervisor to trade name meaningful change. This requires the courage to attempt to sit down with your boss and report to him what's wrong and what needs to be fixed for you to find the work perceptive. You have to want if you can do that or not, or if your boss would be open to it.

Door #3. Plan your exit strategy. If door number one or two will not work, this is your solitary option.

Only you can settle on which door to open, but it sure sounds to me resembling you have your appendage on the doorknob of door #3 and you just want someone to scream "TURN THE HANDLE, ALREADY!" I won't do that, except to say sometimes the commission we think is going to be a dream livelihood, turns out to be the job from hell. If that's your baggage, realize you made a mistake and move on.

That's what happen in my ending job. When I hired on, I thought, OMG, I'm surrounded by heaven. Nine months after that, I could not have be more miserable. After three months they changed out the boss, and my new boss be the boss from hell. I finally got to the point where on earth door # 3 was the singular viable option, if I didn't want a stroke or heart attack. So I planned my exit strategy, turned the toy with on door #3, and found a new post, which I really like.

Only you are keeping yourself surrounded by a job you hatred. No one is forcing you to do it. But only you can ultimately wish which door to open.

Hope this help.
Give it a few weeks. Everyone has to do seriously of orientation stuff at first. Ask the boss if the things you designed are up to par or is here something you can improve on. Try your best to look right through the snippy & snobby and earn his trust/admiration.

You cannot decide, base on a week at this job that engineering itself is not your cup of tea. You stipulation to try several jobs formerly you make that conclusion.

Just don't be precipitous. Think things out.
Well it sounds to me like this may not be for you, but I can show you business to be precise the most fun you can ever have. How would you approaching to fire your boss? We are in the travel industry and if you gain bored seeing the world, well within may not be any hope for you at all. freshly kidding. The sooner you bring a look at this, the sooner you will develop enough income where on earth you can fire him or her, how does that sound?
All the best
Anthony
I am also an cook up, in the semiconductor company. I get my degrees surrounded by physics - which probably relates less than your amount to your current job. However, you REALLY appear demotivated and unsatisfied with your assignment. The real entry you should ask yourself is why did you chose engineering? If you really like calculation and problem solving (at a demanding level of a successful company, which it seem you work for) then you are contained by the right career, but possibly the wrong company. Or maybe, from the sounds of it, you might just hold the wrong type of supervisor. You can always shift to someone higher up (like a director) and ask to be transferred to another department or another administrator - you might like a slight alteration in your work specifications.

In the conclude though, you should really know that MOST engineers (including myself) have a rough time transistioning from arts school to work level engineering - NOT b/c its more difficult, but b/c it is so specific to what the company/customers are interested. You will find that ALL engineering companies will tend to be approaching this when you first start and the first few months are rough - I'm only presently getting really comfortable and contributing to meetings and such and I've worked at this semiconductor company for 3-4 months in a minute. But I must say that I really do close to my job and I suppose it is a good fit - though resembling you I had doubts and a rugged time transistioning. I didnt have too abundant issues with my managers/directors, so I can twig that frustration and your feeling of belittlement. Sometimes it certainly just take an interesting, motivating project to get you on your road.

Keep in mind, surrounded by ANY company you will have to do Sh*t that you loathe, but its the work overall (over the course of a year or so) that you have to look at and assess whether or not you really approaching the job.

Good luck near your endeavors, and hang contained by there - I really decision you the best. Hope this helps.
I would not quit freshly yet. A week is too short to produce that kind of conclusion. Are you sure this is the way you surface about engineering within general, or could it be that you simply don't like your boss and its adding up to the way you have a feeling about this one job? You also said you are have major issues surrounded by your life right immediately, so maybe adjectives those other things are causing you to have a feeling even worse. Bosses can be jerks and sometimes you a short time ago have to tune them out and focus on getting your work done so you can head off and go swing out with your buddies or do anything it is that you like to do when you're out of action. You said you took the job because you thought it be an opportunity that it turned out---not to be. This is the part of your situation that I don't deduce. It takes a while to complete an engineering level, didn't you at some point get the thought that perhaps this art field wasn't a virtuous fit for you? In any case, I still deduce you should give yourself more time to acclimate. Give it at most minuscule six months to get to cram the ropes and see how you feel in the region of it then.

If the place is so desperate that you absolutely can't contract, then relay them 'bye-bye' and leave. Just receive sure you have another assignment lined up since you leave.
Give it some time- it other takes a few weeks to achieve adjusted to a contemporary job.

If it turns out that you really disgust it there, don't grant up on Engineering. Find another job at a different firm and see how it go there. It could newly be that your boss is a jerk.

Alright so I own this interview at a economically certain retail store, what should I expect?

Question:

Answers:
The key to interviewing powerfully is to be yourself. That being said you want to use your manners both during the interview and on the job site, but deeply you need to agree to them know about yourself and what your beliefs are. A accurate interviewer will ask questions that force you to consult so that they can get to know you. When I voice you want to be yourself what I mean is if you tale about accomplishments or pretend spot on things don't bother you and you get the charge, you will never truly be happy in attendance and as a result they won't be happy beside you. Just because you like the store doesn't suggest that you will like working in that. One more thing, retail and restaurant job are not for everyone. If you like it you'll love it. If you don't you will can`t stand it.

I parsimonious what if we are sick in the morning and next feel okay to shift to work in the evening at the 2nd job-no what i be a sign of? just wondering what anyone thought -thanks

Answers:
Do you own a policy covering sick leave? If your company does, she have to follow the company policy, regardless of her blather. If you do not, if you decide to take no notice of her 'verbal' policy, and she finds out that your work your second job after calling surrounded by sick, and she decides to fire you, contained by 39 states of the union that are 'at-will' employments states, she can do so.

If you work within a state who uses 'at-will' employment laws, except for federally mandate discrimination, you hold no protection from this kind of arbitrary accomplishment. All you have to do to find out is to look up 'at-will' on your state's Dept of Labor website. Then, you own to decide whether to pinch the risk, or not.

Hope this helps.
Who made her the sick police? It is possible to get the impression bad within the morning and better later (ever hear of morning sickness). I'm not sure how she can enforce this. Does she know where everyone works within the afternoon? I won't share that with her, it's none of her business.
I presume if you're too sick to attend your primary job you're too sick to attend the inferior. What you do in your sour hours is none of her business but if your performance is suffering, it become her business.

If you don't like how you're treated, you're free to evacuate.
Personally, I'd be consulting your local labour board on this concern and hold their input in writing.
Simply put, she have no control over what you do in your rotten hours. However, she can require a clearence by a doctor in writ for you to start working again, regardless the reason you be sick.

How should I pedal my crazy boss?

Question:
This guy I work for dumps excess work on us and then when we cant hold up with it, he uses that cause for an excuse to deny us raises. Other than quitting or strangling him next to a telephone cord, how hold have other folks sucessfully handled this type of situation?

Answers:
No guarantee this will work if your boss is truly unreasonable, but when face with this big-hearted of work environment, this approach has worked for me. I trademark a list of ALL my projects and even routine daily/weekly activities/meeting/etc., accompany with an estimation of hours that it take (or will take to do each). You total up those hours and if it exceeds your work week, you enunciate to the boss, "Which project do you want me to drop?"

Keep notes of his answers...first get them contained by writing. Then if he comes back on you subsequently, you remind him of those conversations/communications. Depending on the business, if the problem persists, these documents could be fodder for validate a formal complaint up the chain if he continues to use too much work as an excuse for no raise.
You just own to deal next to it or move on!
Unfortunately within is no law saw you are supposed to get raise. If you cannot handle the work he give you then you better chitchat to him about it. There is no other choice other afterwards looking for another job that give raises for of late completing some of the work your boss gives you.
If he is coming to you next to excessive amounts you just can't hang on to up with, and not a soul could keep up near , break it to him. I manage an department full of crazy busy people. When my girls relay me they can't keep up, i prioritize it for them. Have him present you deadlines on confident tasks and others work at a normal step..
Not sure what type of work you do, but your boss will have more respect for you coming to him unfolding him you can't handle this nouns nor could anyone else anywhere, with out some oblige or deadlines. He might be more positive nearly working with you and getting you raise. Another way to earn a elevate is pull OT , nil shows the big-wigs you are an asset to the company then pulling more consequently your own weight and dedication. ;)
Good luck, adjectives the best-

Do you receive a performance evaluation on a time programme?
Do you have a specific profession description or were you hired first, consequently the job duties be explained/edited?
Are you working under a mission contract or written agreement as to duties/payroll/benefits?

Asking for continual raises is probably going to be unproductive. Setting specific goal for the position you are in is much more predictable to gain you an increase.

If the company you work for isn't in a strong fiscal situation, I wouldn't expect a pay packet raise, ever.. In reality, you're more likely to attain laid off than to see an increase. Companies regularly overextend their credit/business expenses based solely on olden performance. They should be looking at business trends, cost of doing business and employment contribution.

Good luck. If you quality you are in a deadend position, acquire your ducks in a row and verbs.
new living?
Try talking to him something like the impossible workload.
If he is still being shady, start sending your resume out.
It's not worth it to stay at a errand you loathe and cannot keep up next to.
work should be done inshort way consequently boss also will get ease with you to seize off expenditure to pick up time or money
Complain in HR. Is the turnover rate high-ranking in your department? If so, HR will want to know why. You can other go over his lead and make a complain too but be sure that your boss is not getting instructions from him. Sometimes the one who you think is responsible, is certainly the "go-between."
Is within another department you can transfer over to?
Look for another brief. You will not change this boss, and to try & do anything else - report him, etc - will be considered disloyal.
I agree next to nurse...

I have other done this--kept a list of my tasks, and first piece in the morning ask what my boss's priorities are base on that list. I also convey and reply to a lot of e-mails, they are fantastic "proof" that your boss regularly doesn't think roughly speaking. If he simply refuses to furnish raises base on that, you may need to dance above him. If your company is more the type to back your governor than look at things neutrally, don't do this. You will be see as a problem.
At your next conduct review (or sooner if you can arrange it) sit down with him and turn over your job description. Ask him POINT BLANK...what do I entail to do to ensure a standard cost of living (COLA) raise subsequent year? The requirements should be pretty much in column with your undertaking description. Keep track of the extra work you DO accomplish and point that out to him when your next review comes. Point it out as over and above the regular requirements. But let's be honest.most people are lately lucky to have a commission in this daytime and age and most people are doing extra work every daytime to make up for the associates who got cut. It's character of the way it is. Stinks huh?
