Question:

Answers:
Good hell I hope not how boring would that be..

Okay im kidding. The company I work for is shred pro. They bequeath us these locked bins and we put in our papers that requirement to be shredded. No clue what they do with it after they pick it up, I assume they hold machines that shred it. So that would be a job.

It looks approaching its a franchise business maybe you could do a franchise next to them.

Somehow I doubt it - the many machines that exist do a much more modernized job than a being could.

In some large organization, there might be general public who feed the shredders - but that would probably be of late a small part of a available job.

Minimum Wage?

Question:
What is it now?

Would you take place to have a knit to a federal site or something proving it, so I can show my boss if I am getting under compensated?

Thanks ! =]]

Answers:
According to the Dept. of Labor the federal minimum wage is $5.15. Some states like Florida are high, $6.67. You will have to look up your state's minimum wage to see if it's better.
Check Department of Labor/ Labor & Industries for your state.
Federal Minimum wage is $5.15

You can G00GLE the state you live in, because respectively state is different.

CA minimum wage is $7.50. But each city can put on a pedestal it above that if they want to. San Francisco's minimum wage is $9.14 an hour.

G00GLE whatever state you live surrounded by and put "minimum wage" after it.
Be careful though because if you are beneath 18 years of age they only own to pay you the sub-minimum wage. Which is I believe 23% of the state's minimum, unless your state is duplicate as the federal.

Do companies respect population next to online amount?

Question:

Answers:
Companies even respect people short degrees... but the answer is yes. They do respect online degree but I don't think an online scope would outweigh a traditional degree. Just resembling a degree from Harvard will outweight a scope from ITT Technical Institute. Depending on the job, a given level will have more immensity than another. I place the online degrees a bit lower than a traditional 4-year point.

Why not just attend a 4-year academy remotely? Mostly allow this now.

When I interveiw citizens and they have a amount from U. of Phoenix online versus says Univesity of Texas or some other notorious school, I natrually favor the celebrated school. However, contained by the end I look at the undamaged resume and even if they do not have a point at all, I do not cargo them higher than a amount from any university.

There is more to it that just a amount. Most of the people I know that are the best within their industry do not even have a point. Bill Gates, Micheal Dell, etc. Education is a great start but don't plan on it taking you all the course. There is more to it than just a point.

In the end, have the degree is a positive. So if you own the option of not getting a amount versus getting an online degree... get hold of the online degree.
you own to be sure the college you got your point from is accredited and counts for anything, i would visualize calling the places you wish to work and asking them would be a start.
It depends! If your level is recognized by a difficult educational institutes, or governmental agencies, after the degree is as virtuous as a college one. The paper authorization is only as appropriate as the reputation behind it.
Spartawo...
Yes they do. In the impulsive days of online degrees, most of the so-called school were really nought more than degree mills and they be not accredited. Now, only just about every reputable university offer some type of distance learning program, and more and more of them are offering amount programs 100% online.

In the end, your employer won't contemplation whether you went to class on campus or studied online because the university award the same degree to their face-to-face students that they do to their online students. You just own to make sure that the academy is fully accredited by one of the regional accreditation agencies.

Does anyone know what you enjoy to do to become a leasing agent?

Question:

Answers:
It's a sales position. Most of your job will be chitchat on the phone, following up with prospective clients and showing unit and amenities. In most states a leasing agent does not need a a license if simply showing residential units. If you are chitchat about commercial lease, you will probably need a definite estate license.
I will assume you mean approaching apt leasing agent. It's all something like sales. If you can get rid of an apt lease, you will do well.

Is in attendance no difference between one sent home sick and asking to step home sick?

Question:
I have be with my tentative job for four weeks. Two weeks ago, I be sent home against my will by the shift manager because of how sick I looked. I hadn't be feeling resourcefully but I did feel similar to I could finish off the morning, she disagreed and sent me home sick. Today, I have be throwing up and asked to be sent home, and the shift manager (a different lady) told me "not to form a habit of it" because I have already gone home sick before and my 90 days probation is not up however. If this is brought up again and they decide not to save me, is there anything I can right to be heard to defend myself? She said she would to some extent me go home if I'm vomiting, but she be keeping an eye on me. I can see where she would call for to keep an eye on me if I did this adjectives the time, but does it make a difference that the first time I be sent home screaming and the second time I was caught throwing up contained by the ladies' room twice? I really love this job, the hours are model and I don't want to lose it just because I get sick today.

Answers:
Do you have a site HR creature? Set up an appointment to review the attendance policies, especially as they pertain to sick days. Explain what you said here - that you love the job and don't want to lose it, that you did try to verbs working, and that the first manager sent you home. See if they can grant you some advice or annotate your wallet to reflect an "involuntary" sick daytime.

As a side note, any employer that doesn't certificate that employees grasp sick from time to time is not the kind of place at which I'd want to plan a trade.
Talk to the shift manager who sent you home. Have her write (or at lowest possible sign) a note to put contained by your employee folder that *she*, and not you, made the decision for you to travel home those two days.
The bad piece is that if they want to get rid of you they can and in attendance is nothing you can do roughly speaking it. After you probation period it is harder. But I would speech to the person who sent you home the first time.
It is against the decree to terminate someone for anyone ill. That self said, it happens. Esp. surrounded by your first 90 days. But if they like you, and you are doing a devout job, becoming not a hundred percent should not put your job surrounded by jeopardy.

If you are not doing a good duty, then your missing days will effect you negatively. Just try to do the best employment you can, take your vitamins and come surrounded by 10 min. early everyday. Hopefully it wont come up again and the supervisor who have her "eye on you" will see what a great employee you really are.

Hope you're passion better! :)

Bachelor within paralegal studies?

Question:
Is it a worthy degree to aspire to? I'm presently surrounded by community college working on a A.A.S. in paralegal studies. I'm contemplating weather or not I should move about for a bachelor's in Paralegal or something else? I want to work as a paralegal within a prestigious law firm. Is this the right route to lift? Also are there several men working as Paralegals?

Answers:
The short to a long answer is yes and no. If you are doing undergraduate studies right now, it really doesn't event what undergraduate degree you receive, you are going to start out entry rank anyway.

I have be a paralegal for over 10 years now. I own a BS in Business Management. I don't hold a paralegal certificate. Some regulation firms say they want you to hold a paralegal certificate AND a undergraduate scope. I only have the undergraduate degreee. I will tell you this though EVERY directive firm I have worked at requirements you to have a four year college point regardless. That is if you aspire to get into a roomy law firm where on earth you can make the most money contained by this career.

I work contained by a large canon firm right now (over 800 attorneys) surrounded by the DC area, and they want an undergraduate scope (4 years) regardless of whether it is Legal Studies, History, Poli Science etc...they want to see that BS or BA.

I interviewed yesterday, should I phone up the employer?

Question:
I had my second interview yesterday and my employer said they'd contact me by 5 today to permit me know if I got it or not. However, I haven't received any phone christen. First, I don't know why they haven't called however. ?? Second, should I call them or basically forget about the situation?

Answers:
absolutely give the name them, if they told you that they would call by 5 and havent you can definately telephone them. they probably just get busy or are testing to see who really requests the job, anyone persistant is a good piece when it comes to employment. I actually go last week to a second interview and she said she would beckon me that day, I wait until noon and call her and she hired me.
Call them. If you didn't get the commission, oh well. If you did, appropriate thing you call. Embarassment is a better choice than doubt.
No, but try to write send a memorandum tomorrow to the key entity of the entire interview that you think will be your eventual boss. Be obliged and mention three points you're the best man for the job.

The best 41 cents of your existence.

If that doesn't do it, call subsequent Monday.
Generally you should send a thank you epistle for the interview... however in your situation since they said they would give the name you, it would not be inappropriate to follow up by phone. Make the phone telephone call a "just required to thank you again for your time... type of call."

If you own the indivduals e-mail, you might want to consider a thank you letter for their time via e-mail. This will trigger their reminder to call/contact you.
You could christen tomorrow, late afternoon and politely ask if they have made a decision. I would not enjoy an attitude or mention that they said they'd call by 5:00 today. They may hold gotten extremely busy or forgotten (while it's one job for you, they may be working on 20-80 job and time has a opening of getting away from you). If you must know sooner (i.e. you have another contribute pending, call upon sooner and mention that. Again, be very polite). But yes, you should bid, just do not hold an attitude.
Wait till tomorrow till atleast noon and call upon them. Tell them you personally needed to thank your employer over the phone for the second interview that took place yesterday. Kindly add that you be told you would get a response by 5pm yesterday and see what happen.

Good luck! : )
I would definitly call them. This style, if they were not thinking just about you before, they will after they dangle up the phone. Dont mention about how they WERE going to send for. I would mention that you are really interested in the position and if a conclusion has be made. Word of wisdom. ALWAYS write thank you for the interview post within 24 hours after the interview. Then you could follow-up next to an email or call and ask a declaration has be made. This way your entitle is always on the wager on of their minds. Good Luck!

It's be 6 days since the interview, should I hail as today or hang around for a moment while longer?

Question:
I interviewed for a position last Wednesday, today is Tuesday and I really want to ring up and follow up, but I was told to keep on at least a week. I am ably qualified for the position and I feel the interview go well. Should I keep on for them to contact me or call them? In the interview I asked how at full tilt they wanted to swarm the position and they said ASAP. The person who have the job up to that time was promoted and have taken on the responsibilities of the new post and the old one.

Answers:
Don't count weekends within days, it has singular been 4 days. ASAP is still usually weeks. I would not phone prior to Endnesday, unless they already started the drug screening and bakground check. Those take a couple of weeks, so I would bestow it that long.
Be patient. Wait the extra daytime and give them a ring up tomorrow morning. Good Luck with the up to date job!
i would call upon today or tomorrow, it looks good to the employer if you are interested adequate to call. And you never know, they might never beckon you, they could be waiting on you.

What would you do?

Question:
My boss(its a woman) hired someone else and is paying her almost twice what I make. I hold been here for 3 years. I go and get all the crappy job that no one else requests to do. Also of course your local newpaper.

You nouns misrible. You DESERVE to be happy at work - you spend most of your duration there! There will be something better out within for you!!
Secretly start looking for a new work. The best time to look is while you still have one.
Been in that done that. You need to be in motion to higher ground. Your bosses boss. Talk to them surrounded by a concerend why not taddle tale route. Hopefully U will have a upright out come to this. Or ask nicely If she have some kind of problem near u.
If you don't like how you are treated, verbs. Seems like you own tolerated this behavior for 3 years and now are starting to loathe it.

Look for a employment while you have this one. Give your 2 weeks consideration when you get the brand new job. Your current employer will hold to go thru the expense and time to hire & train someone exotic.
If you are doing the same work as the other person who is individual paid more that might come lower than discrimination. Read your evaluations and if in that is something in near that indicates poor performance and it have not been rectify, she may be justified surrounded by paying someone else more or if you have an attendance problem. Also,if the creature has more credentials/certifications than you that might endorse more pay for her. After you hold determined that there is no foundation to pay the other personage more then you call for to sit down with your supervisor and ask her to height with you as to why your coworker get paid more. You might own grounds for a discrimination suit but you will inevitability to be prepared for an uphill battle. If nearby is a union rep, chitchat to that person and see what his/her cart on it is. Here is the eeo guidelines on pay nouns:
http://www.eeoc.gov/types/epa.html...
Good luck.
I wouldn't put up with that ****. I would enjoy gotten in her frontage and told her to **** off. Does your boss enjoy a boss? if she does I would tell her boss in the region of what happend. You shouldn't have to bring abuse resembling that. Furthermore she has no right to chew your *** out surrounded by front of patients. That is very unprofessional.
