I am in accounting presently and working on my MBA in Accounting. I only just thought about varying my major to Finance but I don't know if I will know how to find a job since adjectives of my experience is in Accounting. Which job is the strongest as far as stability and income? I am at a point where I want to make a finding on one path or the other minus wasting any money. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

I work at the home bureau for Wal*Mart and we have over 1000 job posted and all of the job that an accounting environment either require an accounting or nouns degree. At the lower level of management any degree is fine but once you capture higher you start to branch bad. We have abundant jobs that are investment analysis that require a nouns degree specifically. But we hold fewer job that require mainly an accounting amount. Seems to me that a finance point can land more specific job while accounting jobs will also lift a finance point. I have to agree near Daniel R. I will finish up my Masters of Accountancy in December, so my assessment may be slightly biased.
So let me convey you about my two bosses right presently. One of them graduated beside a degree contained by accounting and has his CPA, and the other have an MBA in nouns.

Even after you retire from the firm (which most partners do around age 55), that income will continue.
If you start out next to the Big 4 and find that you don't like it, stick near it for at least 4 or 5 years and after go somewhere else. After 4-5 years near one of them, you will have incredible opportunity within any industry you want -- it looks really dutiful on a resume. My boss that I mentioned above started out with a Big 4 firm, worked within for 5 years, and got hired here as a Controller.
I can't really speak for Finance majors, although I'm sure it provides excellent opportunity as well. The mark I get is that a point in Finance will donate you roughly the same stability and income as you might catch graduating beside any other business degree. In the corporate world, deeply of times you will be in a work, and you have to keep on for the guy/girl above you to either quit or die earlier you will have a casual to advance.
Well, approaching I said, I might be biased, but this is a subject I've thought about a great deal. I was man recruited by some great companies (Bain, McKinsey, etc.) but I chose a Big 4 firm for the reason mentioned above.

that seem excessive. they must have sent it out to some other state or something and near must have be a weekend involved somewhere. i've worked as a travel nurse and some places do it right on the spot. it's a very simple question paper that can be done within 10 min. some companies however distribute to outside labs for whatever justification and these take much longer because it involves couriers and your assessment may have not even gone out that daytime. either bearing you should have gotten an answer by very soon. try calling the employee strength dept if you can reach them.
