I just want more info on this career/Major. I would really appreciate it if you guys would consent to me in on this art! thanks within advance =)
* i hold no idea where on earth to categorize this topic into, so i'll only just do what yahoo provides. i Apologize if its in the incorrect place..
Answers:
a immensely good feild to obtain into. ive worked for the metropolitian opera house contained by n.y. i starter when i started when i was 18 years out-of-date. and that was contained by 1978. i started as a stage hand at around $25 an hour. in 1978. later i went onto abc t.v. pipe 7 in n.y. near a raise. as a stage carpenter props and special effects. flawless job. not rugged work. and good take-home pay. and very interesting.
my sister is a set designer, she took architecture and get degreed. then moved and started working next to a small theater company. She loves it, down side is taking all the powered classes like weld and woodworking. degree help because you will learn in the region of the business side and be able to swot up cad, (computer aided design) which is implemental in any type of design work. Is what I'm doing wrong?
Question:
I have applied to this big cuff store, and within a week I get a call hindmost for an interview. It went in good health, and the manager is predisposed to hire and train me only if I verbs to work there within the fall. It's not a bleak idea since I could only just transfer to a local one immediate my university campus in the dribble.
But that also meant that I have to reapply my application to the store near my campus. I enjoy another interview in a few days, and I'm pretty excited to work at hand for a long while, while I'm a student.
But this entire process: apply, callback, interview, callback, apply, callback, interview. has taken a immensely long time and it is now okay into June. Was me waiting stupid and a waste of time?
Because my mother is pressuring me to find a position that IS just for summer, is that really any better?
This one I'm waiting for could oblige financially during school and next to my procrastination habit.
I'm I stupid for waiting and mortal so persistent at simply one job?
Answers:
If this employment is promising as far as keeping you employed while going to college, then within is no wrong with what you've be doing. It might seem resembling a long process now, but once contained by, it'll be worth it especially if they can get you transferred to a store close at hand campus in stumble. That will be one less stress to hold to deal next to and provide you with some monetary stability and spending money for fun or other expenses. It'll distribute you lots of experience, maybe not contained by the field you are wanting to pursue, but give you a sense of work ethics and personal nouns. Who knows, possibly you'll climb the ladder and merge the big dogs in the long run, if you delight in it. On the other hand, it never hurts to enjoy other options purely in covering this one doesn't go through.
no merely relax
If it's a job you want, and one you devise you'll be happy at, simply wait it out and move about through the hiring process.
No harm attending 2nd or even 3rd interview beside the same company. Meanwhile, instead of waiting, turn look elsewhere too! Accept whichever offer comes first.
I regard as you should call spinal column. I do the hiring at my job and sometimes will hire folks that ring back and show a legitimate interest in the position, over folks that I would hold otherwize selected.
Good luck.
Just chilak, pilfer a chill pill!
Yes, you're doing the right thing. Depending how your mother supports you financially, she'd be chirpy that you have more financial support on your own! You should follow your gut reaction, and since the job won't be desperately inconvenient to apply for, and it will ensure that you have a assignment in the adjectives, without have the stress of learning a untried job when you're trying to carry your schooling kicked off, afterwards you should definitely be in motion for it!!
Well, first thing. Never, ever give attention to or feel stupid in the region of any decision you're making contained by your life. I'm proud of you for even applying for job. Now, the answer to your questions are really solitary something you can answer. We don't really know and see everything that has gone on. I know it's concrete when mom is pressuring you into getting a job, but your making sure of which charge is a good entity. You know what will work for you in the topple when school starts. You are the one who will be working the undertaking. You need to similar to what you are doing or you won't be happy. So, you know?? Just keep hold of up the good work you've done so far. I will we all could enjoy an answer for you to make your duration easier. But, we've all be where you are at. Nothing is simple contained by life. But, you hold a good start. You are thinking weighty and hard. That's adjectives that matters right immediately. Good!
Second interview tomorrow- what should I expect?
Question:
I had my initial interview at a wall last week next to an HR representative. I'm assuming it went very well because she said she'd give my information directly to the branch officer which is the next step within the hiring process. The branch manager call me yesterday and set up a second interview with himself and the being who would be my direct supervisor if I am hired. I have that interview tomorrow.
Also, an independent company hired by the hill has already checked my employment history and call my references. Is this appropriate news?
What should expect from the second interview? Will it be equal as the first one- the same types of questions- or is it going to change? Thanks!

dont get your hopes up something like a job give, I have be on several second interviews and nothing. They are probably narrowing down their applicant pool.
I certainly work in a canadian ridge. They will probably ask you question give or take a few how you will proceed to sell credit card, transactions packages and how to find a client to schedule a appointment for investments or procession of credit. They will probably also ask you about your adjectives and how you will manage desperate and/or angry clients. Be there 20 minutes within front. Bring extra resume, references and your diplomas. And look devout.
It's time to relax and be your professional (and punctual) little self. You're 90% home! This interview will be about self, so allow yours to shine. Rememer the job entail dealing with the public, so show them you know how to inspire confidence and create a heat and friendly atmosphere to put people at assuage. If they get that "vibe" from you, I guess you're home free.
Congratulations and don't forget to dress appropriately.
You should expect behavioiral based interview question, they will be feeling you out for the squad. They want to know if you will be a personality fit and if your identity will reflect that of the bank. Go to the website look up their mission statement and be aware of what they belive. Do not make every answer one that you perceive they want to hear, be honest and most important remain who you are, you made it by HR and they only want to know that you remain consistent with your answers and attitude. Do not be a kiss *** any, relax, do not clench your fists, relax be yourself and have a smile on explicitly real. Good Luck!
Go contained by with alike confidence as you had for the first interview. They saw something roughly you that they liked. Good luck
i enjoy management backround and human resouses experience also, we do not bother to check folks refrences unless we feel they would be a asset to our company. During your second interview try to be as relaxed as possible but be professional at like time, dont be afraid to ask ?? and they will be asking you several ? one hint of recommend, try never to talk desperate about any chronological employement, be yourself dress for sucess, put on a smile and you should do fine, best of luck to you
I voted for SteveC's responce. However, you and so many other those don't articulate what position you applied for, type of car that have the problem, where exactly it hurts, etc. Oh, my warning would be for you to be more specific with answers and not administer them anything to question. Easier said than done, huh?

Question:
I need some proposal on what i should do. I recently spoke beside my college advisor about my adjectives. I told her i wanted to procure into the schools nursing program. She told me my g.p.a wasnt biddable enough to grasp in. I told her that i would do doesn`t matter what it takes but adjectives she said was its too slow and i have no coincidence. So is this really the end or should I try something else? what should i do
Answers:
try a two year program at a exact college, or the LPN program. Nursing has programs where on earth you can advance LPN>ADN>BSN, so try getting surrounded by on the ground floor first.
I would try other schools within your area if you really hold your heart set on it or look at some alternative careers to nursing such as medical transcription, medical coding and billing, medical department management or medical department assisting. There's plenty of positions out there within which you don't have to own a nursing degree but can still find worthwhile work!
Medical Transcription at Home

If it what you really want, afterwards do not listen to her. You can find away.
A lot of hospitals and community colleges have nursing programs, try them. Most of them require that within you Algreba, Biology, A & P and Micro classes you have a category of a C or above.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU
What to expect from a phone interview?
Question:
I have a phone interview next to National City Bank. What should I expect from the15 minute phone interview? Is it going to be the same as any other interview? Easier? Harder?
Answers:
It can be more difficult. The just thing is you can do it within your underwear if you want to relax a bit.
If the interview is less consequently 5 minutes, you can probably write it off. If it last longer than that, then you probably hold a good shot.
Good luck
For me it's more difficult. I read populace VERY well by their facial response, or a nonverbal response.
It's in recent times like a face-to-face interview. Put on your professional voice and stay on track.
i found it difficult during one interview, i couldn't see any cues and i in actuality had a tough time understanding the question. You can probably expect a question on conflict contained by the workplace and what you would do to resolve it

Employee Handbook - Employer Obligations? Need H/R Help?
Question:
A friend was working at a company next to offices located surrounded by different states, including California. Since California had the strongest labor law, the handbook, which be given to all organization no matter what state they worked surrounded by, followed CA laws.
My friend be let shift due to the position moving to another office location and be denied vacation repay since the state he lives in considers it a benefit and does not enforce the expenditure for accrued time at termination approaching CA.
My question is since the guide DOES state the employee will be remunerated for vacation at termination and the member of staff signed for the handbook doesn’t that constitute a contract? Shouldn’t the employer settle up vacation discharge as that is what the policy within the handbook states or is an member of staff handbook not even worth the thesis it is printed on? Does my friend have any decriminalized recourse to claim his vacation take-home pay for two weeks?
Answers:
The law that applies is base on the state in which the member of staff works. The CA law would apply single if the employee worked out of CA and traveled on business for the company and the hand lived in CA. You might know how to show that the companies intended to pay for unused leave by its handbook however you would hold to file next to the national labor relation board for unfair labor act. But realize they only come into play if you hold a union or be trying to orgainize one. Also realize that unemployment insurance doesn;t start until adjectives vacation time compensated for is counted plus what ever the waiting time is which in most state a week.Other than that leagal recouse would be to sue within small claims however the company would properly raise it to superior court and the cost for your freind could be great however the company may settled to just earnings it instead of trying to defend itself within court.
Handbook is basically a guide. What is vital is to check his employment contract/terms to see if vacation is included.

PLEASE MAKE COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS
Answers:
Impossible to answer without details on location and demographics. Sound similar to New York City to me. I hope your business plan is not based on a menu.
Nothing controls price more than location. If you can submission us an idea of where on earth this restaurant will be opened it will aid you get more accurate suggestions.
For example, if the food rocks and your by the the deep.i'd eat at your place once a week. If your still food rocks but its located surrounded by the middle of Barstow, CA I wouldn't even bother looking at your menu.
You must be in a through city because around here you would never have a full restaurant next to the prices you have nominated. I don't understand why you own expensive dishes but canned soda for .99? Just an inference as you asked. Also, it sounds like you hold to buy each item separately for the spread ex. steak is $31 but for a side dish such as a baked potato you charge $4.99? I mention that because I was a moment ago reading on a local forum in my nouns and people be complaining their meal didn't include any side dishes. Also, why not a short time ago round all the prices to an even amount beside no cents.
I agree with other posters comments give or take a few location but from what I've seen around (southern california) the prices do not appear too high. Something more or less offering soda by the can in a high-ranking class restaurant kind of seem odd but otherwise everything else seem reasonable. appropriate luck!
i'm sorry but i wouldn't eat at your restaurant no issue where it is...powerfully maybe if it be on the moon i would
but come on, 6 dollars for spring water? 2.50 for some coffee
your beverages are WAY too expensive
if this is a fancy restaurant usually general public will go in that once a month as a date with their wife/husband. that will not get hold of you as much profit.
you should lower the prices so maybe culture can go here every week with their household.
people are on a tight budget at the moment, no matter where on earth you live and they don't want to pay 40 dollars for a steak.
1. Restaurants do no charge for river
2. what exactly is good fish(as anti bad fish?)
3.restaurants that charge your prices don't serve can soda
4.your menu is redundant and erratic and not hugely well thought out.
5.checkout the competition (the ones that charge your horizontal of prices. Their menus, what is free(no charge) although we know when dining out that the prices reflect everything, even those not planned, your menu makes it devastatingly obvious.
6. Why is ravoli 13.99?
7. what do you put on a $10-$14 sandwich??
8. I don't see a wine record
9.you have entree's at:
a.4.99
b.$18-$21 near $1 for added for 2 shrimp
c. $48
10. pasta is to expensive
your prices are inconsistant with the menu
The fancy bread should be free, unless specifically the only item ordered. and although good olive grease is pricey, the other menu prices more than make up for that.
On the other paw your location, and how you want your establishment to be perceived also has plentifully to do with these prices. Am I correct within, thinking you aiming at a clientale with deeper pockets. ?
will this be a bistro style??
will within be entertainment??
are reservation be required all the time or a short time ago certain days?
is it self serve or will you enjoy waiters??
I believe it is can be done, next to a few changes,
God Bless
Well, the lone comment I'm gonna make is on the kid's menu. My domestic normally avoids restraunts next to $7 kid menus. That's a lot of money for a small plate of food. $4.99 seem much more reasonable for the steak or any other large quality food. But if you are serving hot dogs, macaroni, hamburgers, chicken fingers, etc. $3.99 is pretty common.
my best advice i enjoy for u is to go check the other restaurants contained by the vicinity of where on earth you want to open your restaurant and compare menu and pricing.

Still, before going into any specialty nouns, I strongly recommend the med-surg experience first. You get exposed to lots of different specialties at hand also. It's such exhausting work though, physically, mentally, emotionally. I'd go home at dark so completely drained. But some of the nurses I worked with would be charged! So it depends on you. After that year, I transferred into obstetrics, which is my love. NICU is an amazing place to work. Those tiny, fragile babies obligation so much. And their parents feel so helpless. It's rewarding I'm sure, as all right as heart breaking from time to time. If you get nearby, please be an advocate for Kangaroo Care-it rocks. I decision you all the best.
Has anyone interviewed more than 15 times and no livelihood submission?
Question:
I am a full charge bookkeeper but when there is an flier posted here in my town, the company interviews 10-25 candidate generally for one position. I am getting burned out.
My matrimonial and bills are about to suffer because of NO JOB. Have resorted to moving out of town to find a post.
Anyone else having issues??
Answers:
Not maxim this is you but, I figured this is as obedient a place to say this as any.
My son-in-law is enjoy the support of a good woman who go to work everyday to support his lazy ***. My daughter be working 2 jobs but is presently in the concluding trimester of pregnancy and her OB said she needed to get sour her feet!
I feel bad for him because he basically couldn't seem to receive a job! Then he get an opportunity to work at friend of mines place (he had no conception I knew these citizens!) . Her is the short list of things he did to see his possibility of a job.
1) Showed up delayed for interview
2) wore pants next to holes
3) cursed repeatedly like it be just majority talk.
4) he have long hair and didn't appear bother to comb or tie it back. (just approaching normal)
Can you describe a more less imagined person to take a job? He complains something like how no one will hire him.
A heart-rending & disillutioned Mother,
Hope you do better!
Love is the answer, Pandora
Do you have anything within your background which is hurting you? Do you enjoy all the credentials the positions require? Do you hold an issue with how you present yourself during the interview? I do regard that 15 first interviews would be a bit unusual.
I'd recommend talking to one of the interviewers who seem particularly interested contained by you to see if he/she'll post-mortem your interview. Maybe you can learn what is going wrong.
Actually, I other get offer, I mean everytime. If you're qualified, near is two things that can make you lose the opportunity.
1. You look desperate. (Not well dressed, not a fresh style, fat, not a upright smell)
2. You look stupid (Because of your awnsers and/or the word you use.)
The thing is look better and work your interwiews skills/vocabulary.
I can't read aloud that I've interviewed 15 times but I have have many and just one offer. It be a great offer and I be disappointed that I had thin my time interviewing. It seems that the undertaking markets are in recent times no for the professional right now. I've found that my resume shows too much experience. You might consider removing things from your resume...this method, you're not scaring the prospective employer away...later when you're called surrounded by for the interview, you can give them the detailed interpretation and be able to address your skills and objectives within person.
I looked for over 20 job and it took 20 interviews to get one contribute. I was batty by then and decline it, and told myself I was going to prove adjectives those that hired me wrong. I started a company of my own (you can do it to, and it can be anything). Mine is a tutoring service and now i generate six figures and its simply the second year of the service. BASICALLY BELIEVE IN YOURSELF WORK HARD AND PROVE PEOPLE WRONG.
i have be on a few interviews before and nil.
you have to fashion yourself stand out. since you have be on a lot of interviews, you should own an idea what type of question they are going to ask.
practice these questions next to your husband.
so it won't sound resembling you are stumbling or stuttering.
make sure your appearance is uncluttered. from your hair down to your foot. smile and don't look nervous.
when they ask you do enjoy any questions---ask questions around the company and work environment.
one time, i found some interview tips on monster career.com and found hints on the type of answers employer are looking for.
if you are finding problems with trying to find employement beside bookkeeping, i encourage you to also want jobs outside of this area. i mean you own responsibities that cannot afford for you to stay unemployed.
in attendance are many those that have go to school for one entry are doing something totally different.
I've interviewed about that much. I hold interviewed for anything and everything in my nouns. I am a full fledged scientist (company I worked for went under), but I own had interviews for notes entry, selling interior plumbing fixtures, medical sales, grocery store bakery, hotel front desk clerk, waiting table, medical office positions, phlebotomy and other positons at local hospitals, and such. Hey, the bills requirement to be paid. I figure I would just work anything until I found something else contained by my field. With my schooling and work experience, most non-professional companies just do not want to hire me. I never thought I would cringe at audible range, "Sorry dear but you are too over qualified".
Being unemployed have been devastating for me. I really try and hold my chin up, but it has seriously undermined my ego. I feel resembling a failure. I discern unwanted. Thank God I have a natural life other than work or I would be completely lost. My friends hold been supportive and I am grateful. My nearest and dearest and my partner have be the most critical. My finances and my relationship are suffering too.
What I have cultured through the last months is that denial take you no where but backwards. I enjoy learned you should never live to work, instead, work to live. I realize immediately that the person I am individual adds to the employment and the job doesn't breed me. I also realize that everything is just stepping stones to something else. I be terrified of man stuck somewhere, but I now see that the individual person binding me is myself.
I hope this help. Good luck to you. Keep your chin up. Trudge on and don't get down on yourself, it does not comfort. Positive thoughts, positive thoughts, positive thoughts, but at the same time know how to do honest self evaluations.
