Scared to try Pharmaceutical Sales...where on earth do I start?

I am a communications major but someone told me I should try to become a pharnaceutical sale rep. The term sale scare me surrounded by the WORSE way. My perception is that the position within commission only, and unless you are an extremely outgoing individual, you won't make a public sale. Am I wrong? Anyone out there who can distribute me some insight for a recent college graduate! Help!

i don't know of any law in connection with this, and i agree that it invades your privacy. it's bad plenty people know your first pet name in some cases, but to know your full autograph?! do they realize how easy it is to find personal info on those when others have this info? where on earth you live, ssn's, etc ... they can get doesn`t matter what they want w/ just a dub. talk to your boss, and express your concerns. share him that you don't want to defy the system or be dissatisfied, but you are truly concerned about your privacy and your ably being.

I don't estimate it's against the law, but it doesn't nouns very open-minded. That seems resembling a terrible invasion of privacy and sanctuary. Wow, when I worked within Hospitality (brand name resort) we individual had our first name and what state we were originally from. Finally, what happens if you bring this vacation, and next have a kith and kin emergency in August? Now you may inevitability to take even more time rotten early on.
At the outstandingly least, I would be unbelievably apologetic about the request, and engineer it clearly as a request and not an expectation, and be prepared to negotiate how you might make that up for them, such as - working worse shifts for awhile after, taking no break for a longer than normal spell after, working longer hours for awhile, taking some or all of the days short pay,...

Okay, I don't usually offer advice resembling this but I once asked a similar question so here go. I suggest teaching is the solitary professional career that English majors are sought after. Obviously if you can go, it doesn't matter what your amount is in and it can settle up very very well. You could get a brief as a secretary or a data entry individual, but it probably would pay smaller quantity than you're currently making. Maybe drawing up legal documents would be a moral fit, I'm not sure what the title of that would be though. You may also check with your local organization, I bet there are a ton of administrative job that they would love to fill beside college educated talent. You may know how to get another assignment at the school/college you teach at, I don`t know in the job center or something. If you aren't above working with your hand there are tons of brochure labor positions. Maybe you could write for a newspaper or magazine. Both of the English majors that I know currently work at a bid center, but one of them is a supervisor.
WELL AS A PARENT I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU BECOME A TEACHER. YES THE PAY MAY BE BAD BUT IT MIGHT BE FUN. YOU COULD ALSO BECOME A COLLEGE PROFESSOR, SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENT(VERY POLITICAL), YOU HAVE MANY OPTIONS. JUST FIND THE ONE THAT BEST MEETS YOUR NEEDS.

In our city, the carriers usually bearing their routes and, as they are visible to the neighborhood, we usually know them pretty powerfully. In one of my last apartments, I come to know our mail possessor, Mike. He was a big, amiable guy who other had a nature word for everyone -- the type of man that would come help you struggle next to a door or whatnot as he did his work. He was attacked by one of our neighbors dogs slightly viciously -- another neighbor had to rescue Mike. The attacking dog have been docile for the frequent years that he lived in that house next to his owners -- but something set him off as Mike made his rounds that daytime. It was fear-provoking because I am a small girl and the dog did a lot of interfere with to a big man WITH doggie mace. My point is: I guess it is wise for the e-mail carriers to be safe and sound -- for Mike (he recovered but was so remarkably cautious on his route after that incident), I'd sure to some extent Mike be safer than sorry. But, you've got to procure your mail and i.e. also a bummer. Sorry!

Go to college. You're very young-looking and at this point believe you need a life span plan. Almost nobody has one at this point. Go to arts school, and realize that very few empire go to university for their lifelong career. Most job in business enjoy no direct correlation in the university world. That's fine. What you want is the rearing and the opportunity to learn nearly the world. So major where on earth you want to major, taking the most rigorous program available. But, if you aren't a legal representative or physician or engineer, next fine. Just study what interests you that is rigorous and forces you to swot and, more important, deem.
