Due to start at barclays phone central point subsequent week - please is it worth it?

Question:
i have hear they are really hard deal in - is this true and can you make angelic bonus?
cheers

Answers:
Only if you are in a name centre contained by Bangalore ...
I used to work in an HSBC phone call centre and I have to leave. The stress be too much. It wasn't that I couldn't sell the products - I could. I newly didn't believe in selling them. Most of the customers that I be ordered to 'push' the products to, I knew would never benefit and would be paying the premiums for zilch. Bank call centre are horrible places, but I think you should make a contribution it a try because if you're the right type of person you'll do in good health.

And yes - the pay is flawless and the bonus will be good as very well, but only if you provide enough.
I used to work surrounded by a Royal Bank of Scotland call central part and ended departure.

The job be okay, but it started off as a customer service role (no sales) later limited sale came surrounded by whereby I had to tender breakdown cover to everyone with a vehicle insurance policy, even if they had be offered it the day earlier, then it become sales and customer service, whereby you couldn't mortgage in the company minus hitting so many sale, you could be disciplined for not getting high ample sales, you be encouraged to rugged sell, though the officer line be that we were informing customers, not intricate selling.

I ended up getting in poor health, and that made me look at my job and realise it wasn't what I needed to be doing. I enjoy customer service and the industry be not too bad, but the increasing focus on sale, coupled with the certainty that the company was increasing its client groundwork but not increasing the employees, aim that most customers would be on hold for over half hour at apex times (which is when I worked) and thus really annoyed, taking it out on me, and then getting infuriated when I asked give or take a few breakdown cover, yet if I didn't after I would be disciplined, this all combined into making me no longer healthy with the opening.

If you go into the opportunity, find out how much of your role is sales base. I was assured none of mine be, then surrounded by training we were told almost it, then it be introduced more and more until over half my position was sale. Ask the company if they intend to do this and if so how much of your role this will entail and what sale mean surrounded by terms of your progression and any disciplinary motion.

I am considering a art as a medical technologist. Can you bequeath me the pros and cons of this profession?

Question:
I have Bachelor's within Psychology and Business Admin. The jobs I've have so far have be low paying customer service type stuff. Though this could be because I live in Lakeland, FL. I be pre-med at UF and so I've taken classes in Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Statistics, Anatomy and Physiology. I contracted against med school since I don't resembling to deal beside people and their problems, but I'm interested contained by medical research. But I want a job that allows me to own a fair amount of physical motion. Being a factory worker within an automobile manufacturing plant sounds apt to me. In other words, I don't want to be in a cubicle and tied down to a phone adjectives day. I don't want to work standard business hours due to my insomnia I enjoy a hard time showing up to work at 8 am. The local hospital have different shifts available for medical technologist. I would have to be in motion through a training program and get licensed. Can you make clear to me whether this is the right profession for me?

Answers:
i am a medical technologist (we call them clinical laboratory scientists) at Johns Hopkins Hospital. as you would expect i went to college for 4 yrs to attain this degree and not a training program. institution was really not easy and the exam was harder. i really resembling what i do so its a great job for me not sure for you. i own to work with every nice of body fluid known to man but i can stomach it. i work near alot of machines (sysmex, BCS, hitachi) and do differentials under the influence. i started off making $45,000/yr out of college. presently im 24 and last year i made $60,000. so for someone my age thats economically above average. so really you would have to return with blood and urine all over your (gloved) hand all the time so if you are up for that afterwards its for you. contact me if you need anymore info, would be glad to answer question.
HMmmm hard to influence if you'd like also to be an automobile factory worker.
A MT works within a lab...and you would be a welcome integration to the graveyard shift, believe me!
There are several areas in the lab: chemistry dept, urinalysis, hematology & coagulation, microbiology, immunology-serology & blood bank. You would run tests on the specimens--chemical, microscopic, etc. Many are automated today and not as challenging as they used to be. You could move to a research lab after you seize your MT which often is more offensive. Perhaps you could spend the day contained by the lab observing? The amount of physical motion depends on the department you are within; but you do sit & do the tests a fiesta amount of the time. But on the other hand, you don't see any patients unless you draw blood. How more or less physical therapy? Lots of movement here and you just focus on an issue not adjectives sorts of problems (but it is with patients).

funny they have a speaker in university talking roughly speaking lawyers and stuff i fell asleep, so i go to the graphic design i loved it!

so when i graduate i went to move about to my local Community collage to enroll for graphic design i have to go to the Downtown to find some papers..

oddly i done up at a trade school for broadcasting arts! asked for a tour in the order of the school! I be so interested in adjectives the equipment and people nearby that i enrolled on the spot.

sooo exciting knowing that when i budge into sales i can product some MONEY! and help the station unsurprisingly i do have a eagerness for this radio stuff~~~ :)

oh and while i was a dj i go back to the community collage to work on my pictographic design degree!
In university I was other good contained by Math! So when it was time to walk to college, i knew I needed to do something to do with that subject! I go to a 2 year college, there be not as many degree to pick from like 4 year colleges! So I took courses for accounting. Accounting to me sounded close to it had frequent possibilities to use the subject that i was best at. I get a degree contained by corporate accounting, a bookkeeping certificate and a payroll tag! I can do tax returns, guard recs, payroll returns, ect. And most of all i use math surrounded by one way or another everyday!
i am individual young so everyone kept adage dont worry you enjoy plenty of time to decide what you do. But adjectives my mates modern what they wanted to do they foreign what college courses to take, i have seriouse problems as i dont really know what i am into. Anyway it was our final day of compulsary tuition last week and i go in to mitt my books in, my english trainer told me she thought i would make a accurate journalist. I wasnt interested. I thought yeah right booooring! (i have also been told to be a legal representative and i hated that idea). I didnt resembling being told what i should be. So i was sitting within and thought i wish i could do a position where i could see the matches it would be my theory of heavan. Sports Journalist!! i know there is more to it later that but i quite close to writing and i now finally enjoy a career that i can look ahead to, hopefully i wont be too unpromising at it lol
I asked my father what he thought I should do. He said, "You're good next to numbers. Why don't you go into accounting?"
I'd other had a strong interest contained by computers and engineering, and took a lot of math and tech classes as an undergrad getting a amount in biology. I never thought I'd use it as a work, though, until one day when I get laid off from a edification job and my girlfriend at that time (later to be my wife) asked me what I really looked-for to do with my energy. I answered that I wanted to seize a graduate degree within computer science, and she said, "well, why don't you?"

So I did, one article led to another, and presently I work for a well-known internet company.
As I be attending college I knew what specific grazing land I wanted to be contained by by taking an "interest survey". You can find surveys and other evaluations with your guidance counselor if you're still attending illustrious school. The program is call "Choices" from the last I know. If you're out of high conservatory, you can take similar interest surveys at your local Career Center which is element of the Department of Labor for your town or vicinity. The conducting tests, if done at your high college or the Career Center, is free.

Even though I knew what specific area I wanted to be contained by, I still didn't know what department of that field that would be most rich to me. So, as I attended college, it became adjectives when I experienced various practicums and placements.

The trialling is important so that it can assess your strengths, interests and experiences which will result contained by a listing of job that are most suited to you and then will also stir in to detail on how to attain those job..if higher training is needed etc.

Where to find medical insurance plan for a diabetic?

Question:
I am trying to find an insurance provider that provides medical and dental issurance for my aunt. I have see commercials where at hand are providers that let you pick what field you want to be covered in but i can overlook their names. If anyone could give support to i would really appreciate it. I would like to find her a provider by today.

Answers:
There are no regular insurance companies that I'm aware of that tolerate you pick what's covered because that would open them up to a bunch of lawsuits.

There are some companies that will cover diabetes but that depends upon the type. If she is insulin dependent most companies won't cover her. If it is controlled by diet and exercise or oral medication some companies will write her but will probably own a pre-existing conditions clause or a rider and won't cover the diabetes immediately, you usually hold to wait at smallest a year for complete coverage. There are a few companies that have guaranteed issue policies you may want to check out. Visit a local independent agent to find which policy contained by your area is best for her. The agent know the market and should be capable of help, plus they don't charge anything for the service. However, you're not going to draw from her a policy today because it takes time to stir through the underwriting process.

Be amazingly wary of medical discount cards. They are not regulated by the Department of Insurance nor do the relations that sell them requirement to be licensed. This means you hold little recourse when you have problems next to the plan. If you are tempted by the low price and claims of “save up to 80%” be aware that immensely few doctors actually nick these cards. It does you little good if you own to drive 4 hours to find a doctor that will accept the card. One state couldn’t find any doctors surrounded by that state that took the card and only one dentist who be on probation for unlawful activities so they expelled the sale of the card. See this cooperation http://www.insurancejournal.com/news/wes... for more information. Many other states are starting to ban these cards.

Before signing up beside any discount plan get a catalogue of doctors. If they won’t give you a inventory consider it to be a scam, also if the application fee is greater than $25. Call the doctors on the account to make sure they’re still taking the card (many don’t even know that they’re programmed as a provider) and that they’re accepting new patients.

Been in the business for almost thirty years. The number one article is...
sincerity. Plain and simple.
The number two thing is... anticipate the requirements of your guests. (and yes you look at them as your friends or guests in your house)
The number three entity is...
be there. You'll know if they want or "need" you practical, OR if they just will to be alone. respect their privacy as if you were walking up to a apposite friend talking melodiously to a clergyman.
AND finally get things out of their path quickly, gently, and efficiently.

The rest is up to you and who YOU are.
No formal ones I know of, but I'm sure someone have got some sort of written literature more or less what the job entail and how to do it., even if it is an individual effort.

Hi, When I use to train someone new the first item I would say to them: you know how you approaching to be treated? Treat your customers 100% more than that. You are taking care of the general public that sit in your branch. Some will come in that enjoy had a doomed to failure day, enjoy traveled along way to see a dying familial member for the end time, some will be in great moods and want to ploy with you. Once you grasp comfortable with your hot building and new co-workers you should be capable of really pay attention to your customers. They are the ones that really sign your paycheck because minus them you wouldn't have a duty. Good luck to you sweetie...it's a great job if you close to to take diligence of people. Terri T

Question:
I am going to an interview on Thursday, I know how to go to a run of the mill interview and generally what to wear. But when I be talking to the guy who is going to interview me for this position he advise me that this office is VERY unconcerned and if I wanted to wear jeans and a t-shirt to the interview that would be fine, it's probably what he'll be wearing. I know you should probably dress up more than you would for a typical work afternoon but should I dress down for this so I would fit in or do i want to dress up surrounded by my suit or find somewhere in between? I want to show the leader that i'm serious but that I can fit the office atmosphere. Any counsel?? (The job is a position that would serve homeless mentally handicapped young adults capture back on their foot and help next to support and resources.)

Answers:
Do you think constituent of the reason the bureau is VERY casual have anything to do with the clientele they serve? Maybe the populace they try to help nearby would feel humiliated talking beside someone who is obviously dressed much better than they are. Under the circumstances, I don't presume dressing like your are serious around this job will ultimately situation the most. I think what will product the best impression is if you show you are serious roughly speaking helping the organization's clients. I say come to the interview looking approaching you belong there and are sensitive to making the staff and clients perceive comfortable.

Good Luck. (And, thanks for charitable enough to pursue a chore helping such deserving and under-served people.)
If your possible employer said to not dress so formally, only just wear a nice blouse and slacks. Thats should keep you from individual too formal and too casual.

Things i should say/ask/do on an interview?

Question:
This is my first interview, in Walgreens, what are some question would i be asked and how should i respond to them. what should i ask them? (my dad told me it shows that i really want the job), what should i wear? dress shirt, dress pants or a suit? what are some things i DEFINITELY should do and things i shouldn't.

Answers:
First, they may communicate you a little bit almost the job and what they are looking for contained by an employee for this commission. It would not hurt to take transcription when the interviewer is giving you this information so. This will help you subsequent when you need to answer or ask question you can refer to this information to help frame your responses or question. If they don't start with this, and simply start by asking you question, you may want to ask them if they would mind giving you this information first before you answer question so you have a better model of what the job entail and what they are looking for in an member of staff.

Next, they will review or ask about your experience and recommendation. It would not hurt to ask them here what they think are the three most substantial qualifications they are looking for contained by this job. Then, find work experiences, or experiences contained by athletics or in college where you reason you have demonstrated the merits they are looking for.

Then, they may talk just about pay, benefits, work diary. And, finally, they may ask if you have any question. When you have this opportunity, you might hold already come up with some question from the things they have told you. In insertion, you might want to ask them about your instant supervisor and the other people you will be working near. Ask them for advice on how to succeed surrounded by this position and in the company. You might want to chat about any household vacation plans you own and if that will present any problems. And, you could ask them about how the interview process will be completed, if near will be any other interviews you need to prepare for and how long back they will make their final edict.

In closing, if you really like the chore, tell them so. Explain why you resembling the job. And, summarize what they own told you they are looking for in an member of staff and why you fit what they are looking for.

If you are applying for a store clerk position, I think a suit may be a bit overdressed. It is undeniably nice and professional looking, but as a store clerk you would never be expected to come to work in a suit. But, I would plainly wear a dress pants, a dress shirt near a tie, and dress shoes.

Don't be afraid to say you don't know something they ask. Ask for time to come up with of an answer if something doesn't come to your mind right away when they ask you a question. Don't chew gum. Act confident even if you are not (after awhile it will truly give you the confidence you don't discern.)

Good Luck.
confidence is everything. 1st rule, dress to impress. never hurts to wear a tie. be ready for any question they ask... what do you think make you a good hopeful? dont be afraid to toot your own horn. just dont over do it. hindmost every statement up with something you hold done that is similar. ask them what type of growth opportunity in attendance is? ask them what their staff turnover is like... it make it look like you are looking for stability. you will know if the interview is going all right if they ask "how early are you looking to start?". Be reliable of trick questions... THINK previously you speak and say every answer similar to you MEAN it.
Wear a Great Attitude and a Big Smile. Be Polite. Dress Neatly and businesslike.
You'll be fine.
One thing don't bring any friends near you, and just preserve it positive if they ask you questions close to how far do you live from it be like i live close by i will never be behind schedule keep of positive and dress up because thats other a plus.
Dress professionally in a suit beside a shirt and tie. Bring a copy of your resume with your reference. The manager will customarily cover hours of operation, discounts, pay your duty title etc. A great question to ask is "Is here room for advancement?" shows that you want to be there for a long residence and wont leave after two weeks.
Good luck
in the order of what you should wear... just wear verbs jeans and a nice polo shirt.
Stay positive. Always answer questions next to a positive spin. Even if they ask, "What's a weakness of yours," say aloud "I work too hard" or "I'm a perfectionist."

Ask your interviewer how long he or she has be with the company, what they similar to about the available job...your Dad is right, the more questions you can ask, the better.
Dress semi-formal. Typically a nice shirt, shoes and slacks should do the post.

As far as questions you should ask; hows' the work environment, or anything you'd hold to do for the job you've applied for would be appropriate.

Should:
Show up hasty (Ten mintues should do it!).
Be polite.
Shake the person's hand.
Bring a resume.
Stay on the plus-side of things.

Shouldn't:
Have gum within mouth (Or any other type of food!).
Show up late.
Make snide/rude remarks or down gossip anyone/any previous employers/coworkers/ect. (You'd be surprised how many associates actually do that!).
Bring anyone besides yourself. (A lot of general public do that too. If you have friends/parents beside you, ask them to wait surrounded by the car.)

Ask if here are any comparable positions you could accept to stay contained by your current area if that is to say what you want to do. First, check you local area for job you qualify for (if you want to stay) and consider letting them know you will quit if they force you to go. (If you find other employment possibilities, of course)

Wear a suit - well-mannered luck. I'm not sure they will ask questions resembling 'what can you bring to us' if you are just going for a desk clerk, but if they do, think on the spot, be modest but get rid of yourself like aphorism I'm polite, able to connect near all types of those. I'd be efficient and reliable, that sort of stuff...

well done for getting an interview - be polite, description, considerate and ensure you let them know that you will not be dazzle by celebs etc coming in

powerfully done again hope all go well
L
Yeah defiinitely wear a suit. Speak politely, and don't avoid eye contact. Sell yourself and adjectives your good points. Remember its your one and only chance of making an indication. Be enthusiastic about the livelihood and tell them your a pious team member/leader, well brought-up with money, possess right communication skills, organised and keen to swot up new things. Also vote that you are full of ideas. Also supply them examples of your good customer service skills, ie when you go out of your way for someone.
