Poor management. I am working as a waitress as I get hold of my degree, and the restaurant I work at is unbelievably poorly managed. We own had 3 General Managers surrounded by the past 6 months because they adjectives suck.

Actually, I have something to be precise kind of both: I used to own a "sit down" job, and my biggest problem be fatigue from sitting (actually, slouching) too long on the phone & computer. This fatigue left me passion dull, and definitely made me respond more slowly & smaller quantity effectively when challenges arose.

One of us brought up to his attention that 3 months are almost up and if he is goign to be including raises contained by the next payroll.
Well the boss FLIPPED OUT when he hear this, he was one very protecting and the comment made him angry. He proceeded to MEMOing us by saying "within has be a big confusion and mistake" "There is no raises coming right in a minute or in the close to future." "so please if within was confusion I am sorry but we can't do any raises".
He WENT BACK on his word! what can we do to bring this issue to his attention? What should we read aloud?

Actually he didn't go stern on his word. You state he mumbled something about raise, be he did not give you his word that you would recieve a incline. It sounds like the reassess referred to whether or not he needed to hire someone or if the three of you would know how to handle it.

I go through a similar situation. I started a petition of everyone that heard the soul say that we would be getting remunerated. There is nothing you can really do. Mumbling something going on for raises is not exactly an iron clad commitment to dispense you a raise. True your boss conceivably misled you and your co-workers a bit, but I don't think it be deliberate I deem he just said soemthing a bit dumb.

I just started doing squats I did 10 of them 4 times yesterday along next to some situps, pushups, etc. My arms don't hurt but my legs hurt so bad I couldn't acquire out of bed this morning. I have be limping all sunshine I could barely saunter up the stairs, and sitting/standing is excruciating to me. It has not seem to get better throughout the daytime. Is this normal for a pupil??

I'm a college graduate that's still working retail - something that you don't even need a hs diploma to do. I've be looking, but since I've been at my career for a while, I can't find anything that pays better, only similar. It's lone the low-wage places that are hiring.

I too am a college grad beside a double major surrounded by business admin and accounting. I found my first job in the region of 6 months after graduation. The problem that I am running into is that since I enjoy kids, it is automatically assumed that I cannot handle a command position. Now I am sitting surrounded by a BS position where I am expected to endow with the controller ideas on how to fix things and provide background and reports, but I am not allowed to permit anyone know that I did the work.
I have lost adjectives self-esteem and have no desire to stay within a field that is to say this slanted. I am in a cup room and cannot break out in this grazing land.
Two years ago, when I could not longer stand the temp thing, I started going put money on to school for something contained by the medical arena. Dental Hygiene was my choice and I hope to find out contained by the next 6 months if I hold been agreed to the 2008 program.

I'm not. I dropped out of institution in the 11th class and worked my butt off. All of the guys I go to school near have crummy little $20 to $25 per hour job I make $ 42.00 per hour and take 1-1/2 x for OT. I'm sure there are seriously of others out there similar to you. Start by looking for job in your enclosed space and take an entry smooth position, it may not pay profusely more then what you're doing very soon but it will build experience which is how you get to better paying job. You didn't waste time or money but a point is only partially of the equation you need a level and experience.after you get a couple years below your belt you can shop around the job bazaar and expect to make better money.
