When the interviewer say. "do you own any question for me" what are some?
Question:
i am 19 and have a big commission interview tomorrow to be a waitress in a large class restaurant. i never know what to say when they ask "do you enjoy any questions for me" what are some worthy ones? thanks!
Answers:
This is probably the most important chunk of the interview -- it can show your prospective employer that you can think on your own. Keep surrounded by mind that this question is more nearly judging you than it is in the region of providing information to you. Avoid questions have to do with money rate, vacation time, benefits, etc -- here is time for that later. Some honourable questions that can be asked are some that you can turn around and use to put up for sale yourself:
- What characteristics have you see in folks that have be successful in this profession in days gone by? (After the answer, you can explain that you happen to enjoy those characteristics)
- What kind of photograph do you want to portray to your customers (Of course you work best in a professional / offhand / or whatever mentioned environment)
- Is this a hastily paced environment (Of course, you work best surrounded by those),
etc..
Of course, the best tool you can bring into any interview is confidence. Good luck
when can i start! (and smile!)

There are plentiful good ones out near and some not so good. Blue Cross is devout and so is Priority Health. You need to consider of what you need and what you can afford. Also do the doctors and hospitals within your area adopt it. Usually you can look up health insurance surrounded by the phone book and give an agent a appointment and start asking questions and than travel from there. Also does your parents insurance hold a rider on it that you might be able to purchase. It would be cheaper and does not hurt to look contained by to.
P.S. If you need Prescription Blue Cross might be your best route.

whether you go for sale job or not but unknowningly you are doing sales/marketing as you do marketing of yourself next to the companies or a girl that the company hires you or the girl likes you and when you are hired by a company for a undertaking then you do sale of your knowledge and time for monthly income.
What's the average...?
Question:
What's the average number of tries it takes to find a opening? I've been seeking work for awhile. I'm actually ashamed to concede the number of applications I've sent. I have to be nearing a history. Just wondering what "normal" is considered.
BTW, I have a BS within mechanical engineering and my MBA, lucklessly I also have a drug felony on my dictation. Just wondering how many hundred of attempts I might enjoy to go through.

a temp agency may not be a fruitless idea - can't hurt. i would also try a state employment agency. in recent times tell them the business. it's not like you are hiding this - you are human being straight up each time. as sucky as it sounds, it may not hurt to grasp some goofy part time see just to affix something else to you resume - the fact that you are currently employed, even if slice time and sucky, would show that you are less of a risk than they might be thinking.
I don't own solid numbers, but don't give up!
I would consider registering next to a temp agency - they may be able to abet you find something "temp-to-perm"
Once you have a honourable work history behind you, the smaller quantity important your conviction will be.
You can also try and catch in touch next to your old university - they may be able to assist ...
Best of luck & hang within there!
Someone told me a long time ago that a rule of thumb for the time it take to find a job is a month for every $10,000 contained by salary (so a $40,000 position would take 4 months). At first blush, this make a bit of sense - finding an entry level/minimum wage job would purloin less time to arrive than one making $80k a year.
However, many factor go into how long a assignment search will nick. The first is where you are located and if the compassionate of job you are looking for is plentiful. I live surrounded by Pittsburgh and have be looking for a new opportunity for over a year and have probably applied for 30-40 job, but I am looking for a marketing job and in attendance aren't many opportunity here. On the other hand, within late 2004 I looked for alike kind of chore in Washington, DC, probably applied in the order of a dozen places and in two months I have a job bestow.
Another factor is the network/connectedness factor. I have found that it usually help if you know someone at the company that's hiring, or by two degrees of separation. However, a short time ago because you know someone, doesn't mean it's a lock.
The unadulterated wildcard on your resume is your unfortunate criminal journal. Of course you want to be honest about it if asked directly if you own been convicted of a crime, but I wouldn't mention it unless they brought it up. Kind of don't ask, don't share.
If you really feel approaching you're spinning your wheels and be aware of like you're not making any headway, possibly it's time to really examine where you are geographically, what mode of job you want, and the steps you've be taking to find work.
After considering all of this, you might want to tweak how you are looking for work, the sensitive of job opening you've been focusing on, or even consider re-locating if it looks similar to the kind of commission you really want is not too plentiful where you live.
Job search are tough and it can really wear you down. Please remember not to take the rejection individually, even though it may seem approaching it. Good luck with this!
Even though I intuitively have a verbs criminal record, when I first attempted to break into the aerospace industry, I must enjoy sent out some 100 resumes and there be no response. Fortunately, for me, down the road I had a contact at a key aerospace company who provided the needed professional reference which open the door for me. Perhaps you should consider signing up with a impermanent agency/head hunter initially to at least find a expeditious source of employment and thereafter, work with matching agency to find you a permanent position.
Good luck!
Is anyone a nurse?
Question:
I was wondering if it is a devout job, pros, cons--does it pay cheque well, tough schooling, and if you are a nurse what quality and what do they do?

I'm a registered nurse contained by the Houston Texas area. The compensate is pretty good although for the work nurses do we should procure a whole lot more. If you savour interacting with ppl consequently it can be a good profession for you, especially if things similar to blood, vomit, and other bodily fluids don't make you sick. I work on a med-surg floor, 12 hour days, which is becoming the standard. Depending on the types of patients you bring back, it can be physically and/or mentally exhausting work. And you better like newspaper work or the computer because it seems close to each year the political affairs, or the hospitals themselves give us more forms to pack out. And it's usually the same information we put on another sheet of daily. Nursing school is knotty. One of the hardest things I've ever done but if nursing is what you want then turn for it.
well my sister is and she have been contained by colledge for ever but her job pays ably where i am at
progress to your local hospital and do a survey!
Well, I love being a nurse...I go to a 4 year nursing school-got my BSN. It was one of the most difficult and heavy experiences of my life. I'm glad I go for the 4 year because I learned critical thinking skills that are simply priceless.
There are copious pros for me personally. I am a labor and delivery/mother & babe nurse. Need I say more?! It's a wonderful opportunity to interact next to families and provide support at such an significant moment in their lives. It can also be tremendously difficult/stressful for so many reason. They pay is great, but not adequate for all that nurses do business with...and yes, the paperwork is a core stressor sometimes.
Burnout is prevalent because many discern like we pass nad give and contribute and sometimes it's difficult to see the beauty contained by it all-You just return with tired of feeling similar to your're not making a dent...then some family unit or patient will provide an opportunity to be reminded of what a difference we can formulate.
You just inevitability to make sure you hold a good be a foil for in your natural life.

Okay I don't have a position and i'm getting this job which pays $11 hour and I come up with its very insulting to work for that low hourly rate. But later I don't have profession at all any. I have get my B.S in Marketing. Should I help yourself to the job or not and why?
I abhorrence what they are paying me and i hate the commission. My bf says I should pinch it and leave it once i find the better commission. But then it look discouraging because all the job i held were vanished before 1 year

I agree whip it for now but verbs looking. It may not look good to own jobs for a short amount of time, but it also doesn't look polite to have gap in your employment. You can other be honest at tell them you moved out for a better opportunity and better pay. Just receive sure you can justify why you are departure each commission.
well, you know if you are really looking for a opportunity for some financial reasons...you shoudnt be choosing...you necessitate them ..you patience is a justice...look on the brighter side you will be able to return with some working experience...
no, don't take it. you visibly will not enjoy it and you'll probably sulk around the department and they'll regret hiring you. that's just not terribly nice.
unless you live in nyc, $11/hr is not that low.
If you don't approaching the job is one piece,if this is your frist real errand after college, then you should grasp the experience and stay the year.If neither one of those sound right to you after move on and tolerate someone deserving have this duty they ain't that easy to gain. And it beats the hell out of $7.25 near three kids.Get it?
Well, right now you are getting rewarded $0.00 an hour. Your living expenses are more than that, I'm guessing. So, I'd say a profession that pays you something is better than getting paid zilch.
I understand what you be determined about the duty being kinda demeaning-you worked to catch that degree, and you're probably working beside people that don't own a degree of any sort.
Any career that you apply for and that sees that you haven't held a post for more than one year may look down on that-but your degree speaks for itself.
Take it, later leave. Good luck.

i did out contained by brentwood(la) a few years ago and its not hard to revise it just take a good eye for detail cuz ppl dont want screwed up pics.
never worked nearby!
As long as you pay attention to what you are doing you will be fine. You will work near strong chemicals and you must pay attention! Also, hopefully you will be working within an established location because the newer stores tend to have abundantly of untrained staff.
Be careful your first 30 days to show yourself dependable because any mistakes you get will get you moved from photo lab -- custom show for instance, gives you no second probability. Major mistakes get you fired next to no probability of rehire. Once you get chronological your first 30 days you will really start to love your job.
Good luck and be sheltered! Happy photos!

How long does an interview usually ending for?
Question:
I'm going to an interview tomorrow and the woman that called me to rota an interview told me that it would take around an hour for the interview. Does it usually last that long? I'm applying for an accounting position.
Has anyone else be to an interview for an accounting position?? If so, how was it resembling?
Thank you!
Answers:
It may take that long. I go on an interview for a position in human resources once, and I met something like 6 different people and be there for 3-4 hours...after 2.5 hrs I arranged I didn't want the job, which turned out best - 6 months latter they had a life-size layoff...
It depends on the company and their interview parameters, how detailed they want to carry and how many if any other family are involved. If you may have to group with the Controller or A/P Manager per influence, their schedules may simply allow a few minutes here or there. Just depends, but if your contact said plan on at lowest an hour. That will give them time to touch you out to see if you're a good fit for the group you'll be working beside and for. Good Luck!
It took me one hour and that was the confident part
