Careers Employment Questions and Answers

What do you suppose?

Question:
Should I take this assignment? It's a housekeeping room attendant at a hotel, they have really virtuous benfits like strength, dental, and free gym membership. I don't really want to be a housekeeper but I really entail a job. I'm also unsure of how thorny it'll be like varying so many bed and all the other cleaning stuff to be done surrounded by a limited amount of time. If you where on earth in my position what would you do?
Thank you.

Answers:
If you really have need of the money then help yourself to the job, while you're working you will find other opportunity, you might even meet someone that will proffer you a better job. That's usually how duration for us poor folk works (through connections).
well it depends on how copious options you own. Do you have a better substitute? If not. Better take it and forget in the order of how hard it is. You will seize the hang of it as time go on.
Take it. You really need a opportunity and this sounds like it have some good benifits. No assignment is really going to be easy but it's a respectible errand. Be proud to have it.
Take it and do the best brief possible. Always take anything you are offered and if its not what you wanted. Then look for another mission. But dont quit that one until you have another to shift to. No income aint no fun.
It sound polite. If you need a available job, I say rob it and try to see if you like it. This is a severely good enclosed space to be in. The article is, don't focus on how hard it is. Focus on how you can product your clients spend their time there pleasently and blissfully. If you do a good assignment and provide good service, you can even move up the cuff. If you do enjoy it, you can even gain experience here and move to a better hotel surrounded by the future. This might should resembling a low and dirty job, but the reality is, it is a very imporant opening. Think if you have to live surrounded by a hotel after a long day's work, how would you feel if you hold a nice room to sleep in? It's adjectives about how you be aware of inside that motivates you. Spend thoughts on how you can do a good brief in it, not that can you do it or not, nor you approaching it or not. The more you focus on the positive, the more you will like it and savour it.
My friends sister was a housekeeper at motel 6 for 5 years, she loved it, not a soul really bothers you and you dont clean the total hotel lol... she said she would just put on her walkman and do it adjectives, also, it really is good excercise if you want to also consider that way, kinda approaching killing two birds beside one stone..
and at least try, if it doesnt extension up being for you, preserve it till you find something more suitable.

Do you chew over 'bartender' could be an honorable profession to enter into?

Question:
We are in dire have need of of bartenders who can really be "bartenders' and this is the problem.it takes dedication and smarts surrounded by dealing with the public and the money is at hand to be made...but most people look down on it...how can we convince potential human resources who have no other fate to make well brought-up money to see what it might take to do the commission, make upright money, and make sure their 7 hour shifts are looked after? It is simply to the benefit of both employer and employee.

Answers:
Bartending should not be considered as an honorable profession, fairly it would be more like a 'spirited' and capably compensated acting job. Entertaining the patrons is more noteworthy than mixing drinks here! Plus, a keen memory and the fitness to move from solving one problem to another without becoming frustrated is the switch to making the patrons happy. Happy patrons clear for good business for the bar/restaurant. If a economically prepared and performing bartender amuses the patrons he lifts the esprit-de-corps of the patrons thus encouraging their return business making the boss joyful. And-- after all-- a bartender has tons bosses making his money from his employer and from tips from the drinking customers who are the 'real' bosses.

Dealing with the the public requires adherence to a quality of street smarts with a 'dash' of formula and cliche. Once a bartender develops his regular customers-- they no longer are 'the public' but are particular for their individual tastes and interests.
Honorable...no. Profitable...yes. But with the sole purpose if you are young plenty and good plenty.
Honorable? Not really. But it is a well paying brief that can be enjoyable. The tips are apt and the job isn't that difficult.
Yes but as contained by any job making satisfactory money to pay piece like rent and food are influential, otherwise bartenders make little money.
the creature brings honor to the job. if these those are not bringing honor to work then it's them that's the problem. If I be you I would start looking for new workforce. I know they are hard to come by, but it doesn't hurt to look.
A employment where you breathe sticky clouds of cigarette smoke for 7 hours is a "profession" for no person.

How antiquated do you hold to be to work at clothing stores?

Question:
How old do you own to be to work at hollister, american eagle,aeropostale,delias,rue21... a&f?whats the pay?is it a perfect place to work?and of course discounts?!?

Answers:
You enjoy to be at least 16 rightfully. However, most stores don't want to get involved beside all of the restrictions so they one and only hire people who are at lowest 18. In my opinion, clothing stores are pretty good places to work... the wages is usually eight $, and you get discounts (each store offer different discounts, but it's usually something like 20%)... the work is not messy (unlike restaurants), but sometimes the custumers achieve annoying. Just how much you like your available job, may also depend on who your manager is: a nice manger can formulate your job really pleasing, but there are some populace who set out to make your natural life miserable.
most of those places require you to be at least 16, but heaps require 18. Check with respectively individual place, as most have different requirements.
Most credible 16, though if they're connected with a precinct, I'm not sure if the mall have other rules. You'll probably start around $7/hour, if you're lucky and start from there. Since most clothing stores require you to wear their clothing, they usually set aside some sort of discount, I've heard of some places giving as much as 50%. I would suggest heading to the shopping precinct and walking around. Ask who's hiring and talk to some of the human resources on the floor (if it's not busy, otherwise you may annoy them) about what it's approaching to work there.
You hold to be 18 to work at Hollister. They pay minimun wage, and you seize a 20% discount. I know this because my daughter applied there.

A trade choice?

Question:
well, i merely wanna know how long do u have to stay contained by school to finish psychology?

how much is the usual pay cheque?... initially..

is it a good job to pursue?

Answers:
It will be hard to find a honourable paying job beside just a Bachelor's level (4 years). Easier and more money with Master's (5 or so years). Doctorate (8 years) will capture you prestige, big money, respect, etc...You can teach at a key college with a Doctorate. A Bachelor's amount may not even get you a position surrounded by your field but a scope of any kind other helps. But if you want to work contained by a clinic, rehab place or jail departments, school, etc.I would recommend at least a Master's. I judge it would be a fascinating work. I wish I have stayed with it but I switched to Geology. What a disaster that be. Bachelor's pay won't be much. Master's reimburse will get you upper middle class stratum. Doctorate will be 6 figures more than likely-maybe not right away though.
The above poster be right in that it usually requires a masters to work surrounded by most counseling positions...

Pay statistics are always a bit dodgy... there are some who form much more than the average... i.e. many years ago the average psychiatrist foot was $90k, but the average pay envelope for those in private practice be over $200k.
Also, for medical professionals, including psychologists, pay is heavily impacted by current insurance policies.

Good work to pursue... psychologist help those:
- many are purely having difficult issues beside marriage or clan relationships.
- some are struggling to overcome horrible abuse or sickening accidents,
- some are at the boundary of the abyss.

It is good to assistance people, but you will hold to be able to concordat with pretty distrustful situations (that happened to your patients).

How much to ask for during a trial mediation?

Question:
My case against the company is Wrongful Termination, Sexual Harassment, Termination for Retaliation, Hostile work environment, and afterwards an individual who is also being represented but the companys advocate. Im so ready to stir to court but if I have to come up next to a $$ figure what would it be? I tight this man touched me and they did nothing after continued to look at porn in front of me and the did nil. I had only bought a house and my boss knew it. Ive be out of work for a year couldnt get a charge to save my energy becasue I have fired stamped on my person in charge, andthey go on their jovial lives expanding the company and the perps are still employed there. I feel bad for the owner becasue he be so nice to be but now hes lying and covering for these populace. The judge wishes us to settle out of court I have be so violated but cant put a price on that.

Answers:
I noticed you asked equal question yesterday and the answers be about indistinguishable - you need to get hold of advice from your attorney on what to ask for. So, any you do not have an attorney, within is a concern that the attorney will charge you for time to discuss the settement amount, or you are attempting to second guess your attorney's advice. Your attorney is the solitary one who knows your baggage, the laws contained by your state and how the two connect. He or she is your best source to determine how much to ask for.

If you were my client and depending upon what type of mediation you are surrounded by I would tell you to make a payment up your losses; lost salary minus any job loss benefits received, amount spent on benefits that you would have received when employed by this company (like medical insurance), out of pocket expenses such as attorney fees and medical fees where on earth the doctor has certified that the treatment is the result of the termination. Depending on where on earth you are in the court system you may or may not know how to request pain and suffering, however that amount should be surrounded by line beside what other cases in that same court are awarded.

Usually if a go-between indicates that the parties should attempt to settle the suitcase out of court there is a object. Only your attorney can make a guess as to what that idea is. Usually when a judge advise something the parties pocket that advice to heart.

The issue of you have just bought a house and the boss know it - is a worthless point in a nouns lawsuit. As for your inability to be hired, it may not be the fired but that your filed a lawsuit specifically making other employer's wary of hiring you.

Again your attorney, not a free answer group, is where on earth you should be looking for advice. For adjectives you know one of us is representing the employer.
That's a pretty big case. I too own a case in anticipation of against my former employer, but I have an attorney and what occur to me had nought to do with touching or porn. Where is your attorney? He/She should be the one sitting down near you and discussing settlement. My sister sued IBM in California. Details of your situation is completely close to my sisters. They settled for 1.2 million if I recall correctly or a touch less. I do remember it be 1.? million.
dont trust anything red velvet says she is a fraud . she know nothign and speaks like she know it all. you should bring a lawyer you cant do this by urself. how much money be u making before appendage? have you gone through the eeoc? what did they read out? what does ur attorney say. this is a much better analysis than that fraud red velvet and her dumb answer you entail facts she just tries to analogize minus knowing anything

There is not much you can do about it - except to explain it when it comes up within an interview. Hopefully, you have things close to certifications to back up your work.

You can offer to work for experience. Explain why you are liable to do this. Also, check with hospitals. People tend to forget that at hand are pharmacies in hospitals. I am contained by Canada and know that you need your citations for Pharm Tech in directive to with prescriptions. If you are currently a student within that course you can be there, but not hold any contact with medication. It is beause of lawsuits, people's lives, theft and misuse of the system that a certification is required.
It is accurate that you have a eagerness for it, you need it. It is a rewarding art and at times difficult. (Standing for hours, dealing with not so nice people) You procure that from other jobs too though. It is the thoughtfullness and accurate advice that preserve people coming support to your "pharmacy". When people are sick you are the one that they be in motion to. So be kind, sympathetic, empathy and listen. I have have bad Pharm Techs and flawless Pharm Tech help me. The ones who are cool, distant and not listen are bad. One jam-packed a prescription for me without checking beside me first. I was on a plan and they didn't cover that medication and I couldn't pay envelope. She was to check the system contained by the computer to see if it was billable to the plan and except to let me know. She didn't listen to me.
I hold taken a Pharm Tech course here in Canada. I am not sufficiently expert to work due to health reason but everyone that was surrounded by the class was hired within the field.
Good luck to you and your adjectives.
Have you gone through Pharm tech school? That ensure you a job at any pharmaceutical place of business.

violence within the workplace is on the rise and most businesses have ZERO tolerance

why not hire an attorney take it expunged from your record?
It might. I work at a temp agency that caters to plants and factory. Most of our clients will not accept team who have crimes of antagonism on their records. However, some companies merely care something like felonies. The company you are applying to might be one of them.
Now you get the picture.---All the good things you did your in one piece life is gone because of one ""Aha S***""" They are protection themselves from ferocity in the work place. My first thing that I generally say to the ton of money comment is this. If you abominate your job, money routine jack. My first job made me money, enormously good money. Had I be willing to go and get a Masters I would be millions now. I HATED EVERY MINUTE OF IT. I have no life, no time and no freedom. I be on call every minute of every hours of daylight. I had to smile, dress and wear the perfume others required me to. The good communication is I quit with adequate money to start over. WADE WORLD TRADE tuition course?

Question:
Has anyone ever made profit from an agency after buying this course of instruction? Would they mind giving any tips? Thank you. Dorothy.

Just from their statements on their website FAQ, sounds like a honest way to spend a couple hundred pounds on a course that won't expire up making you anything. Are there opportunity in the import-export business? Absolutely. Will their course receive you into it and profitable? Not likely.

Just on small example: They read aloud they'll send a catalogue of possible contacts every month - but they also say "no selling, your customers will come to you" - does this track?

Good luck getting your money pay for if you try to invoke their "100% guarantee".
There are thousands of "courses" by fancy sounding 'Universities' advertised every time ...

Many claim to 'reveal the SECRETS of wealth' - however the ONLY thing they enjoy in adjectives is selling the COURSE is what makes them money - and NOT by in truth doing what their course "teaches" you ...

Is Craig's register a moral site to look for a charge?

Question:
Second, when applying for a position, how do you set your email address to yahoo or hotmail?? because mind goes to word email

Answers:
No, I don't deduce much of Craigslist as a place to find a job. It have too many 'scammers' on the site for it to be reliable as a mission source.
Craigslist.com CAN be a great resource for job lead. You will have to sort some of the rubbish postings from the legit ones. However, there are some GREAT job on CL.

Good Luck!
First of all, adjectives you do is sign in to your yahoo or hotmail and compose email to that chore posting you think you are qualified and fit to do. I wouldn't recommend Craigslist because within order for you to hold a job, you own to know the company's name that you are applying to. Most of the mission seekers get eliminate if they don't know what the company stands for and what it does. The majority of the Craigslist ads are anonymous, so you won't know how to research them and go to round 2 of the interview. Look elsewhere similar to simply hired or indeed. Good luck.
