I used to work contained by the food service and in my experience I enjoy never met so many rude customers who consider you have a low-life livelihood and think they're so much better than you are. Of course they're not adjectives like that but it does abet if you don't take any of the customers cruel comments to heart. I remember I have to bite my tongue so many times when a rude customer come through. But hey, if you don't really care what relatives think going on for you, then stay.
I love my career. I hated it for a while but after nouns changes and more responsibility I love it and in actual fact look forward to going to work after a stressful weekend at home! (I even get the casual to come on RunEye.coms which I hardly ever own the time for at home!) Stick with yours if the money/hours etc worthy enough but hold on to your eye out for something better.

Give it a few more weeks. I have a job I like then started hunch like you are. I give up on it and left. Then regretted it because I started have money problems I wouldn't have have. If I had given it a bit of time for things to work themselves out. Like I said. Try giving it a few more weeks. If things don't rework look for another one.
Find something better suited to your interest. We have to work at our profession or assignment for most of our lives. I believe it must be something we enjoy.
I would quit and try to obtain something you will enjoy.
If you are sorrowful it will reflect within your attitude to customers. Which in turn will imitate on the company and you could get contained by trouble.

i dont hold a job it would be fun to hold one. but my parents support me. im 15 and i thinking of getting a job at a cafe. so i will communicate you how that goes.
it depends on where on earth you work. I know I like mine during the first few montsh but after that it seem to get worst. plus my manager's an incosiderate a-hole so that make it even worst. I'm only sticking beside it till I finish University. Then I'm quitting.
I used to work at the supermarket checkouts for 3 yrs. I hated it and vanished.
I find that things don't usually get any better when you stay.
Give it in the order of six months and if you still hate it afterwards quit!

I currently work as a researcher in the US, and can detail you that yes, starting vacation time is usually one and only 2 weeks (or 10 work days) and you only return with 10-14 paid holidays past its sell-by date a year. That is standard in the country for pretty much any pen. However, in my experience, research is something that requirements to be done in charge to make decision, which means that when it's crunch time at the organization and everyone is working late, I still bring to go home prompt because I already finished my work. And I've only worked one weekend within two years, and rarely work unpunctually. So if anything, research is a good area to go into if you do not want to work close to a donkey. Hello, excellent question! I own worked in both Europe and US so I can share somewhat the difference. I am orginally from Europe and was trying to capture a job nearby for a while but found it very difficult.
Yes, within the US there is a strong prominence on work. Usually companies have two to three weeks of holiday when you start. Universities and Pharmaceutical companies own a bit more flexibility and usually are a bit more casual roughly speaking time off.

Vacations also oscillate company to company. In my experience it's typical to earn 5 days paid break after 1 year of service then any 7 or 10 days after 2 years. I find that some employers donate 3 weeks (15 days) after 5 years, but again all this vary. Also, for some companies after you earn 10-15 days, it takes a long time to acquire more, like 5-10 years.
Not everyone works weekends. Retail and foodservice commonly do, but highly developed skilled workers usually don't, unless they have deadline or a lot to ambush up on. Since you're a researcher, you'll probably work some weekends for sure.

Well, assuming that the notice that the employer have to give you is indistinguishable as you have to present the employer (which is usually the case) this must mean that you give your notice to go before you be officially given consideration of redundancy, so yes, you won't be eligible for a redundancy payment as the purpose your contract was terminated be your resignation, not redundancy.

I manage a coffee shop. Sometimes it is easier to train associates with no experience than re-train someone near experience to do things your way ,so don't agree to the lack of experience stop you.
When satisfying out the application put the hours you are truly available to work, not the hours you want to work. Say you don't want to work Fri. or Sat so you can go out next to your friends, but that's the coffee shops busiest time. They will take one look at your application, come up with she wont work weekends and toss it to the bottom of the pile ! Odds are you wont work every weekend and hours can be negotiated after you enjoy the job.
Be precipitate for the interview.dress casually but tidy. No shorts or too much cleavage etc. Assure the interviewer you are a quick learner, are not afraid of tricky work .Even though you don't drink coffee there is bound to be something they supply you like...be prepared to bring up to date the interviewer what your favorite drink is..(that they sell of course)
When you go and get the job other be on time..know your diary...only phone out if you are really sick...don't gossip..You'll be fine! Good Luck!

I used to work in retail as a sale associate/cashier at J C Penney... in WI and next here in FL. In Wi I started out at $6.50, contained by FL at $7.25. I'm guessing Sears is similar in it's wages. And I also had a 4 year point whne I started with JC Penney, but I'm no longer within.
