Both offer credentials (with completion of requirements) and is good for network. It's a great profession - i *LOVE* going to work everyday. Not everyone can say that in the region of their job. On the flip side, I travel 40% of the year and own lost touch with greatly of my friends because of it. I miss out on a lot of my home events because I'm always so busy.

I live in Phoenix and own to wear a suit sometimes. It's especially important if you are applying for a goverrnment livelihood. It's really hot and awful so don't put on the jacket until the last minute. Once hired, you will revise to love capri pants and skirts because it is cooler contained by the summer. The men actually suffer more because they are habitually expected to wear long sleeved dress shirts and slacks year round.

While you might not have to wear a suit for the living, you'll have to pony up and wear the suit on the interview. But - you can wear a short-sleeved shirt/blouse and wear that underneath your jacket and although it's a pain, I would wear pantyhose, too.

Before your interview don't rush and lug your time getting ready and avoid anything that will effect you to perspire a lot. When you return with to where the interview will be, stop at the restroom and freshen up if essential - touch up make up, blot along your hairline, etc.

If your sous chef is a jerk, expect the career to be a living hell. But if the cooks are cool, it may be a very fun environment. Some advocate, make sure to do a thorough career, and don't take any crap from the bussers, they own the worst job contained by the place, and they take it out on the dishers!
Been here, done that! Worked my way through college wash dishes at local Veterans Hospital in the afternoon and evening shifts. By doing a great situation, not just a worthy one, I had frequent of the servers, who also had to verbs up, ask for me to help them. By doing a great situation, I was given other responsibilities, similar to helping the vets who be handicapped with their meal. Oh, and I also got free meal while on the job.
My ex-future son-in-law be a dishwasher. The pay sucked, the work be hard BUT I sure appreciated his expertise contained by the kitchen at clean-up after Christmas or Thanksgiving. I am a full time student at West Virginia University at Parkersburg,also the Managing Editor and Senior Reporter of The Chronicle (our college newspaper) and a full-time mummy to three wonderful,beautiful kids.It's a wonderful,crazy,exciting and fulfilling time and I do love it.Matter of fact, I ADORE it! :)

right now i am a student going to university for business informatics and live with my boyfriend while working at a dry cleaners section time from three to seven mon-fri, and bartending in the plummet through the winter, i am currently only working chunk time at the dry cleaners and start school again august 20th...my boyfriend lays tile and adjectives different types of floors, and owns rental property we live in one of the properties.
i am not sure what i will do when i graduate, and i close to what i do now although i will i could get organized and stir up earlier and enjoy a pool i could go to..

I've never studied it - properly - and I had other job before this one, but very soon I know I've found my calling. I happened upon a mentor sometime and the rest is history.
