How do I find my boss to operation near an member of staff who is inappropriatly dressed?

Question:
We work in a residential drug rehab center beside male and feminine residents. Male residents make comments and she get upset. Female residents think they can dress inappropriately also because of this. I am 'friends' w/ her and don't want to hurt her but the director have spoke to her about it previously. She is really setting a bleak example...

Answers:
Mind your business.
She should be given a written warning that she will hold to dress appropriately or be in vulnerability of losing her job.
I cant believe that she will bring that helpful of trash to work she should dress like that at home mabye she wishes to get can or mabye she likes the attention
Your boss should know to matter with this, it's not your place to switch the situation. The director has already mentioned it to her if that didn't work, I doubt anything will. You might want to remind her that the director doesn't close to her to dress the way she does. Other than that, it's not your business.
If the residents are making remarks she get upset about shouln't she enjoy a clue? These are people who are recovering from drugs they still enjoy minds and desires (most of the time) She needs to realize the effect her example give. try to explain that while you love her outfit maybe its more approiate for date or the club and something for a time more busisness like or modest is more approiate you can look great and sexy when you cover up more and dress modestly and sometimes more so than the reaviling and innapproiate things
straight up and forward enlighten her she is dressing like a tramp,hoe,sl-t and the place of business is not the place to dress close to that she should have respect for her place of work and for her self if she does not listen after she does not need the errand
If the director has already spoken to her and you know roughly it - as a friend, you can ask if you can help her.

Maybe she doesn't know what she's doing "wrong" and is too shy / ashamed to ask. Maybe she doesn't own other clothing options and could use direction to a "Career Closet"

As a friend, broach this helpfully with her. Look up if in attendance is a Career Closet program in the nouns (low cost / free professional clothes) Offer to go shopping near her or help sort through her closet.

And remind her she can be professional and sexy or interesting or fun - short being rude.

When she makes an hard work, support her. And, when she comes around, she will reap the rewards of being treated AS a professional too.

Best of luck!
This same incident happen to me when I worked for a security company. The dress attire be very formal at the facility we worked for, and the surety were made to wear uniform that were anything but comfortable. I have been near 4 years, and we hired a new member of staff, who's idea of showing up surrounded by uniform, was no tie, blouse unbutton to her belly button, and no bra; with see through gray womens slacks. She and I started out as friends, I implied her dress and behavior stemed from a nasty divorce she be going through. But after awhile it got to me, I be being reprimanded for wearing unissued slacks, and she be practicley prancing around in her birthday suit. I complained 3 times, and my 'male' boss did nought; so one day I come to work with my shirt undo and no tie. When my shocked employer commented about my money in dress, and reprimaneded me, I said resourcefully I see others dressing inapporpriately, why shouldnt I? they are not being repremanded; and asked that he phone call a meeting to get sure everyone knew the appropraite dress code, and that they could be fired for it, if it is done more than once. I know that sounds extreme, it be a pretty crazy time that I laugh just about now, but it get the point across to my boss.

Does anyone here hold a really cool career?

Question:
Maybe you plan out trips for the show "The Amazing Race" or you are a proffesional dog trainer who trains dogs to do really cool tricks. Maybe you are head chef of your own restaurant. Yeah, tolerate me tell you what I do by relating you how I got started within this first. I've been actively involved contained by politics for about 23 years. It's something I've be passionate roughly all my duration. I've worked on campaigns, gone to conventions and done a nouns of things behind the scene that most voters will never experience.

A couple of years ago I was asked to run for local organization and, in putting together my in anticipation of campaign, I authored two public policy proposals that showed how to first cut back on and then destroy entirely both public debt and all forms of taxation. In other words I come up with a specific policy (two alternate proposals contained by fact) that show how to pay for administration without any debt financing or any form of taxation and do it perpetually.

In times gone by couple of years, I've been organizer of a citizens advocacy organization explicitly leading this issue of system without debt and policy without taxation. I should formulate clear, that this is hardly some pie within the sky fairytale. It's well thought out, using lots principles of finance, and it's entirely realistic. It's hardly some overnight sensation any because it takes time to fully implement. It's a step by step process.

Through this organizatio we're going community to community across America to show populace exactly how to do this. Then we're allowing each contestant to determine the details that will be proposed and enacted within their own community first. Then we'll work on state legislatures and the federal command.

I work pretty long hours but I absolutely love what I do so it's more resembling doing what you enjoy than working someone else's dream. Over 70 hours a week. But I move about to bed at night thinking something like the victories of the daytime and I wake up within the morning energized and ready to attack.

The bottom row is that I'm certain Benjamin Franklin believed it when he said "There are two guarantees within life: demise and taxes." But that's a lie and through this union we're proving that government can run in need either debt or taxes and that channel a 31% pay lift for the average American.
I've retired from public accounting, but when I was at hand I used to perform fraud audits. The biggest find (and I have to testify in court for it) be a woman that had taken over $250,000 within 10 years, $10 at a time.
Nope - I don't even have a charge. That's why I'm doing this. (BTW, well qualified power-driven engineer surrounded by Upstate SC available ASAP.)
Professional Revolutionary. It's an unfulfilling life, but somebody's gotta do it ; )

How do acquire a opening to be interested contained by hiring you?

Question:
Im 16 ive applied for about 4 job and they never call you wager on, ive called safeway twice and they asked for my number but havnt call.what is a job to be exact easy to acquire hired cause im tired of putting within applications and calling if im never gonna get any feedback.summer is almost in the middle over and i still dont have a undertaking so im willing to work any errand if anybody has any suggestions.except for mcdonalds or any efficient food.

Answers:
If you've only applied for four job and are already frustrated get organized for a really hard energy.

At 16 it's not easy to grasp hired for anything, the summer job marketplace gets flooded next to high schoolers and heaps of them are flakes so you need to engineer yourself stand out.

Nobody is going to hire a 16 year old over the phone. Go to the business, be verbs, neat and groomed, preferably verbs cut. Go at a time that the business is not busy, for instance, don't go into a speedily food restaraunt during the lunch hour. Politely request to fill out an application for employment, if they speak they aren't hiring, politely thank them for their time and leave - they might be hiring subsequent week. If they give you an application crawl it out completely and neatly next to one of the two pens that you hold brought with you (two, purely in case) from the preview application you have downloaded and completed (so you own all the information surrounded by front of you). On your application list any work experience or volunteer experience that you own and leave perfect references, even if they are single personal references.

Do this at as copious places as possible, don't be picky about your first couple job, you need some experience to show on your resume/applications as you seize older. If anyone offer you a job that you can do, embezzle it.

My niece had her first summer position at McDonalds last summer, next worked for them evenings after school after the summer. Early this year she applied as a bagger at Safeway and be hired, her plan is to work her way to banker. She's 17.

I used to do the hiring for a really large company, if you do what I own outlined above, you will get a brief. Keep at it, don't let yourself draw from frustrated or discouraged, just save working on it and it will happen for you. View the job you don't get as erudition experiences, and try to use those experiences to hone your presentation skills for the next profession.

Oh, and very substantial - DO NOT, NOT EVER, lie on an application or resume.
1. go in swimming

2. talk similar to you have some sense

3. show up for your interviews in good time

4. make sure adjectives words are spelled correctly on the application,
including your name.
Do you dress appropriately surrounded by things like dress pant and shirts and not jeans and t-shirts? Do you make eye contact near your interviewer? Do you keep an upbeat positive additude?
You're 16, you've just applied for four jobs, and you're complaining something like how tough it is? Brace yourself, because it's gonna get like mad harder before it get easier. Be qualified for the job you're applying for if at adjectives possible. And put in more applications.

I dislike to toss one of those "when I was your age" cliches at you, but when I be your age McDonald's and other fast food job were specified as "opportunities" for teenagers. Get used to not starting at the top, Junior.
I would say basically wait up to 6 wks. and ring up in between. In the meantime be in motion get your Id. and overrun out more summer jobs over the internet. There's Aj Wright, Walgreens, Circuit City, Walmart, Target, Marshall, Jewels, Petes produce, Food Basket, Macy, Home Depot.

I'm considering any Retail Management or Veterinary Technology as an resort for research..?

Question:
Which is better, what are the career opportunity, & the pros & cons of each course?

I would conjecture it would matter most on if you prefer dealing beside animals or people.

Usually, you can ask to do an "Informational Interview" beside various professionals - a short time ago call the vet office close to you & a few stores. If you are able to do this, you'll own a much better idea what they really do and what you would similar to better.

If your school have a career center, they may be capable of help yo set this up (or you can do it yourself)

Do you own to own a High School diploma to become a LPN? I dont enjoy one.. (stay @ home mom)im vry interestd

Question:
I'm 17 years old and a stay at home mom. I didnt finish High School. I'm exceedingly interested in becoming a LPN. Can anyone detail me how to go give or take a few and doing this. This has be my dream for a while now. Or.. does anyone know any description of career that you can work at the hopital that you can only just take classes for and earn fitting money. Please answer my question. Thanks

Answers:
Yes, you do hold to have completed High School to go and get into LPN school. Have you thought give or take a few getting a GED (graduate equivalency diploma)? I urge you to do so and then pursue a trade as a LPN. Stay with your dream! I go to LPN school after graduate High School. That was 40 years ago! I can't grasp over how a decision I made at age 17 give me such a wonderfully rewarding job. I love what I do and the pay packet is very flawless! I wish you the best of luck!
Since the classes are more difficult than soaring school, it would give the impression of being obvious that you own to be a high conservatory graduate. Would you want someone responsible for your care that may be illiterate? Can't do simple math?
clutch at least the GED if you don't want to move about back glorious school and finish it. Then there's pre-reqs for LPN. You can do CNA first afterwards LPN. Inquire in your local community roughly speaking adult lessons for CNA classes. Good Luck!
To be an LPN you have to miss a state test - you'd most plausible have to enjoy had specialized LPN training. There are other hospital job, like nurses aide or housekeeping, where on earth you might not need a diploma. But see if you can any go vertebrae and finish school, or bring your GED - not having a big school diploma will hold you final throughout your life otherwise - and will hold a hard time finding a career where you can brand decent money, not minimum wage.

Good luck.
A G.E.D. will be OK too. as long as you own one or the other they should be fine with it, the best piece to do is to contact the college you are wanting to attend and go from within. Best of luck!

Do you enjoy to make available an honest answer to an informal request for information contained by a profession interview?

Question:
For example, if you have kids, and a assignment interviewer asks if you have children (which is an unjust inquiry), is it a crime if you say no?

Answers:
It is not a crime for any the question or the answer. There are some question that should not be asked in a chore interview not because they are criminal but because they open the employer up to a complaint of nouns. These are not the things that a person would run to the police to report, but would file a complaint beside the state agency and the EEOC.

As for the answer, no matter how you answer it is still not a crime. It is any the truth or a lie. In genuineness when you go on a commission interview and are asked a discriminatory question it is up to you as to whether you want to even answer it. Your option are to say something similar to 'isn't this one of the questions employer are not supposed to ask?' , "what does that have to do next to my qualifications to work here" -- which will probably remove you from being hired. Or you can simply answer the question truthfully and own a shot at being hired by a company that clearly likes to pay no attention to discrimination law.
It's not a crime. It's just stupid. If you acquire the job next to this illegal questioner, s/he will find out particularly quickly if you hold kids.

If you are sure that a certain cross-examine is illegal and that the true answer will hurt your probability, prepare a humorous and effective dodge. If you are not polite at that kind of vocal foil, then newly ignore the interview and change the subject next to a question of your own.
it is not a crime and they may merely be asking to see if you may need any services they provide surrounded by that area...they cannot not dispense you the job becasue you hold kids..but if you say no and you pinch a day sour casue your kids are sick and they find out..you can get fired for lieing on a post application
You should never lie during an interview. It could purely come back to favourite place you later. I would answer it honestly. If I find the cross-question harmful or lewd, I would say that I'm not comfortable answering the put somebody through the mill.
honestly, i would just share the interviewer that you dont feel comfortable answering that ask, since it has nought to do with your certificate for the job..unless, unsurprisingly, its a teaching position! lol
It depends on how you look at it.

Yes- it is not a interrogate that is supposed to be asked contained by an interview. It does not have any affect on your facility to do a job. Was it a written interview or just asked doing an informal conversation?

Legally, obviously you do not have to answer the examine, alhtough I think most inhabitants now adays are aware of the possible ramification of being EEOC improper and causing a problem.

I be not there for the conversation. I do know sometimes surrounded by interviews trhough I may bring up family- say if the post is 85% travel- I want to make spot on the employee is prepared back taking the job of the time that he or she will be away from home. I would never want to enjoy someone unhappy contained by their home and work life.

But this is corporate USA and no they own no right to ask about kids, or medical conditions, or relations. It's supposed to all be completely removed from the conversation.

On the flux side, if you chose not to answer or relate the truth two negatives may own occurred. One, if you said it be illegal it probably alarmed the interviewer half to departure. Most people don't do into an interview seeking legitimate affirmation. :) Two, if you chose to answer "no" and then at some point own to ask for personal time as a quick favor due to domestic don't ask for any special accomodations, as you chose not to share this information.

Hope this helps!
It isn't a crime, but it is other a mistake to give an incorrect answer. If you find a interrogate inappropriate, you can right to be heard either "I prefer not to discuss that" or "Why would you want to know such a article?"
just be yourself and answer adjectives questions truthfully
If surrounded by your state it is illegal to ask if you hold kids and you lie and read aloud know and they fire you. you can retalitate by suing the company afterwards. This is a positive option since they should know it is an iffy question and it won't budge that far.

Acutally answer it truthfully, that way if they don't hire you, and you trully ponder it was because of that later you have something in attendance. If they are asking because they have free daycare for their workforce, they should begin the request for information that way. For example... we provide subsidized daytime care for our lifelong employees, would you requrie this service?
Well for a request for information posed by the interviewer, giving a wrong answer will have serious consequences. It's other better to be honest at an interview.
But it is up to you to answer a particular request for information or not. If the interviewer asks a illegal request for information you can say something approaching "Y is it necessary for you to know that?" or "How will that aspect affect my likelihood of getting the job?" or something to that effect. By doing so you show them that you are aware that the request for information is illegal & that you are handling it contained by a diplomatic manner.
Whether you choose to answer or not is up to you. But it is other advicable to be honest at an interview.

Placement of a plaque which outlines your fee diary near the hostess station is sufficient to pick up attention of prospective customers who will value your services since they can do other undertakings outside of the restaurant -- often beyond the compass of any inhouse paging system. You realize that everyone have a cellphone and why not take profit of the connectivity to make the diner's experience worthwhile. The restaurant will also appreciate the added service you are providing as a customer liaison.

8. Why not become a rewarded feeder servicing the disabled at nearby nursing, convalescent, assisted living/care centers and hospitals. It involves feed food to patients who are unable to nurture themselves. The starting rate is $8.00 per hour. The only downside is that one have to take precautions to dry-clean one's hands after respectively feeding. A posting of your services [by a business card or flyer] on a reviewable bulletin board would be ample to generate customers. The paid feeder position is one of the fastest growing occupation at this time.

Good luck!

Answers:
You entail a space between jobs, I get to the word electrical and thought you were doing electrical at MCD and the other job you put the name of the company not the first name of the trade so I would add the company cross.
Also your experience is from oldest to newest which is disparate reverse the order.
One more picky detail is the MCD shifting garbage gone me thinking changed for what? You might change that to empty garbage or shifting garbage lots or leave it out, not a useful job skill but does show readiness to work that is polite.
Since I am being so fussy more or less your great resume I would probably change the entire object statement to:

To gain work experience as a prep cook or line cook. I am starting culinary institution and wish to work at every stratum in the industry.
I would pass over the part nearly working since you were 7since you give the impression of being young and hold worked 7 years that is plenty. I would leave out the part more or less not serving bad food, they expect that and you person a picky eater is too personal.
Were you really in giant school 8 years? Working at MCD 7 years earlier you finished high university?
Use Word to write your resume and use bolding, font sizes and spacing to or bullet points to highlight the momentous things.
Don't think I don't reckon your resume is good it is a short time ago I am much older and enjoy seen thousands of resumes. Most merely get a once over weakly so excess words or hard to find detail sort them forgettable. Errors in spelling or word usage grasp them tossed if some does care ample to proofread they aren't careful satisfactory work on most jobs. Some job are that fussy like hiring a truck driver you won't effort about them anyone able to type or spell.
Good commission! I would hire you.
great job and honest luck on your seach
It's a good start. Take out the aspiration and turn it into a summary paragraph. Put the objective surrounded by your cover letter. I own a "resume help" section and an example of a worthy resume on my website below.

Make your resume targeted at a specific job or type of opening then write it as you are trying to game your skills with that job's skill set. Consider the reader cliché to you "What does that mean to me? How can that experience oblige you in this undertaking?" etc.

Good luck!
Make sure that the formatting is correct, that you have spelling correct and concise wording that shows intelligence ( Yours does show intelligence). What are your goal that you are trying to achieve. What are your ST and LT goal. Think long and hard around it.
