Obviously, that first nurse has an issue next to Physicians Assistants! Well, these are 2 different jobs--so it just depends on what you love to do. OTs work near people who own had strokes, coup¨¦ accidents, etc and want to work their back into the world to live. I ruminate this could be very rich or very heart breaking. But if you love helping relatives make small gain to live as well as assistance them regain their independence--this would be a good errand.
PAs work like MDs--all the headache & joy that go with that. The stress of crisis, lawsuits, pt anger as capably as long hours, weekends etc. But you can go anywhere (I am currently working the summer contained by the Chesapeake bay within maryland but I am from Cali) and do a multitude of jobs--from clinics to hospitals to MD offices to member of staff health, to research, to surgery, to phone advice--its pretty unlimited (even cosmetic medicine). By canon, you can do whatever your "doc" can do, diagnoses, prescriptions etc. The recompense is about $45.00 an hour and up. I pick my shifts and days I want to work. I do ER so its anything comes in the door. Hope this help
Occupational therapist make more money. There are more opportunities for OT's. Physician's Assistant is a squander of time. There really isn't a demand for them. OT's can walk anywhere and write their own ticket!
I also recommend going into speech therapy. Big constraint for them too, and big bucks!
Physicans assistant is a very accurate career-however the Physicians have assistants to do the delayed hours, the on call duties, etc... An OT make really good money, and have more freedom to be the one with an assistant.

Goodness, yes there's a difference. A nurse practitioner is an RN who have a Masters Degree. They can usually write prescriptions, perform pap smears, and do other procedures that regular RN's are not qualified to do. They breed good money.
A physician's assistant is someone who newly takes fundamental signs and does basic procedures that a non-licensed party can do. Probably not much money in this one.

Should I adopt my friends hold out working at McDonalds?

Im 19 and am currently taking a course in college and am taking several more courses within the fall.
He tell me it pays for tuition, the boss is the same age as me, and free food.
But its McDonalds tho... the most degrading brief there is. Should I swallow my pride and help yourself to the job or should I of late focus on college right now, or should I look for another assignment (I applied to a few other places a couple weeks ago)?
Jobs in the recent past REALLY haven't worked out for me especially while I'm in institution. I always terminate up quitting.

Get a grip, and be in motion flip a burger. Make a deal next to yourself to stay for one year no matter what. It sounds resembling to me you have an just the thing world in your team leader and no one is assembly your demands. Truth be told there is no surefire place and you need to amount that out now until that time you have a college amount and are even more warped.

Don't go into express food. You will get zits and your self esteem will suck after a few years. Get a profession in an organization or intern at an IT company. They can pay for tuition sometimes. Stay away from McDonalds. It IS the worst living ever.
Mcdonald's isnt degrading at all. I honestly havent worked within fast food, but to me a allowed job is a honest job. you're surrounded by college bettering yourself so you already know your potential. Mcdonald's is just gonna pass you a lil extra cash and free lunch on the track to meeting your goal :)
I'd say stir with the position. If your friend is there it will be an agreeable job. I work at McDonald's presently because two friends talked me into getting a chore there so we could product getting money fun. If you try to make it fun it will be fun. We own these games we play there and they take home us forget we are actually self payed. I've been in that since last December and the food sitll taste good to me. I'd give somebody a lift the job if I be you. I hope this helps.

OK, so maybe Macdonalds isn't the most glamorous and exciting of places to carry a job but its honourable honest work. You'll be surprised how the skills you will gain there will relieve you later on within life. The faculty to multi-task, the ability to touch pressure and customer service skills will all stand you surrounded by good stead for anything career you hope to find yourself within when you graduate . Plus the hours you can work in a food service mission such as Macdonalds are a lot more flexible and you can fit them surrounded by around your studies. Do it for the experience, learn adjectives you can from it and don't eat to abundant of those fries :)
My advice is that if your friend have offered you such and he has already put surrounded by a good word for you beside the boss at a place that has markedly flexible schedules, and your own position search so far have not gone well, you should jump for it. Your friend is practically your job citation here! You got nought to lose and everything to gain. If it works out, I would figure you'd stay for one year working recreational. Just enough to include on your resume.
Many of college students today thieve part-time job wherever they can find it. You are not alone.
Besides, once you work at McD's for a while, the free food would be the hardest fragment to let move about once you leave that opportunity for good. :-)
