How should I turn surrounded by my application at a retail store?

Okay, so I got the application to the following stores:
EB Games (video winter sport store)
American Eagle (clothing)
Gamestop (video game store)
Pac Sun (clothing)
Barnes and Noble (book store)
Basically I'm in recent times applying for positions such as cashier, customer service human being, you know those store positions.
So when I go to turn contained by my application, who should I give it to? The store chief, or the person that give me the application?
Also how should I dress while giving the application, decent, indifferent, etc?

I work as a security officer at a state funded employment agency within Texas. You'd be amazed at how lax people are these days when looking for work. They dress as if they were going to the seaside with shorts,sandals,flip-flops, and the piece de resistence,wearing the orb cap indoors near sunglasses perched on the brim.
It may kill you for a couple of hours,but wear a long sleeve shirt AND a tie.
Wear slacks NOT jeans.
Wear shoes(shined ) NOT sneakers.
Cover up those tattoos and shave.
Know what a toothbrush is and use it.Nothing kill an interview than bad breath.
Bring a pen and at lowest two sharpened pencils.
Write down all your reference and addresses of adjectives your past job,phone numbers,zip codes the time before you step filling out applications.
You other ask for the manager on duty and you may not beleive it,but he/she is looking at your appearance from manager to toe.
It's very intermittent,but sometimes your future boss will hold extra time on their hands and settle on to interview you right there and afterwards.

So i would dress nice maybe not best dress but hold a nice apperance and give to a supervisor.

I've been at my duty for exactly 1 year and 7 days. I work for a huge health insurance corporation (3,500 employees). I'm 24yo, entry smooth, 1st admin job w/o admin experience and my wages is 45,000+/yr. Now, I've noticed that other admins who've be here before me seem to be to get rewarded less. But as expected no one negotiations about this on the position.
What I don't understand is this. I grain the Admins are pretty much the ones who keep everything for the boss/company surrounded by order. Without us, they would be lost. We pretty much hold everything together! So I don't twig why the pay is sometimes so low. (I'm not complaining just about mine, I'm actually exceptionally happy and blessed)
For example, my friend be looking into a Med. Asst. job and be told, she'd start of at $27,000. I mean, yes that's a start for someone w/o a post but I never understood why the reimburse is so low. Or is this just a NYC article?

I don't gain it either. Around here (MS), Admin Assistants start out contained by the low 20s. The cost of living here is way lower, but still, you can't realistically live on 20K/yr. I don't deliberate people realize how much assistants do. You're right. We really do preserve things running!

This happens within many field, not just administrative assistants.
You're right admins do deeply of work to keep things running smoothly. However, the executives get a huge burden, make main decisions, etc., hence their larger salary. The work I did as an admin was critical to my boss, it freed him to do the things that made our company extremely successful and profitable.
It also depends if you're working for a small pribate comp afterwards you're salary will be lower, it's mostly management and big executive company that pays more. Plus experience is an asset.

I'm making very righteous money with my current occupation but am interested surrounded by obtaining a scope or diploma of some sort in a fall-back craft. My family and lots friends have be plagued with drugs any abuse or distribution so I would close to be in a profession to help combat the ever growing problem and hopefully prevent some from following that lifestyle. The merely thing I can regard of that isn't quite counseling would be lessons.
I know there are special speakers who will travel out to schools and run instruction programs ... I'm not sure what they would have studied ...
(Oh, and depending on where on earth you live, border patrol agents do a lot of drug interception - as does the coast guard.)
I suggest going to your local institution and seeing about taking some assessment test (Meyers-Briggs is the best known, but in attendance are others) This will help you focus your interests contained by a career area. Depending on the school, this type of article is usually either through the Career Center or is a counseling course. (Career Exploration be the title of the one I took.)

I know its tough. I got pregnant when i be 17. Try baking and selling what ever you bake it keep you busy and might bring in some currency. I did that. Another advantage of this is when your infant is old satisfactory you can use baking to spend quality time near your child. I know I do.

Based on those experiences, I immediately know as I once did before, that it is better to listen to your own gut atmosphere, rather than trying to consciously analyze the situation (which unless you hold perfect and relevant background, is almost impossible or very difficult to do most of the time) or listen to what others may say (which is not other wrong, but you should let your gut ultimately recount you if what someone says make sense or not).
Basically: Learn to listen to and trust your gut. This is what I am working on trying to do more often. They read aloud "Mother knows best." I would own to say however that "One's own gut know best."

You should open up a cafe/activity center kinda piece. You could have the cafe module selling whatever drinks or food you want. This would involve the business and marketing interest. You could hold nights for poetry reading or something like that for you writing interests. You could enjoy an art section for your ocular arts interests. I'm sure people would love to own a place to go where on earth they could just sit down and hold a place to be creative when they want with no actual guidelines, no grades on their work, and no specific time limit. You could charge them political leanings fees for a certain amount of time so that you wouldn't be losing money. The dining nouns for the cafe part should be resembling a lounge sort of area so that relations will feel relaxed while they're here. When you aren't having a poetry dark, you could have a music night and have local band or singers perform. You could even hold a karaoke night. I actually worked near a girl that used to play Cindarella at Disney World.
The only article I know about i.e. that Disney has really strict requirements on makeup and what they expect their princesses to look close to. I am sure you have be told you look a bit like Cindarella.
The article about working at Disney, is it's a conversation peice. It won't be a occupation starter by any imagination. actually i know of a program offered for students contained by college but i am not sure if it is for disneyland or disneyworld or both. My friend is doing that this coming semester and she's going to disneyworld in florida but I surmise she said you can goto disneyland also but I am again not sure. Try going to disneylands website and searching for different things going to arts school and doing that would be a great choice so you can kill two birds near one stone. But you do have to audution for the cut you know and even if you don't get the bit of cinderella they have heaps other disney princesses you can try out for. All I can say is do what you want to do but I would insist on you looking into the student program they have for college students...even if it is at the one surrounded by florida I believe the only entity you would have to foot for is air generous and room and board which they take an ammount out of your paycheck i believe.
