I'm dawn to mow lawns for money but I really don't know how to charge them... By the hour? By the patio?

Question:
I made a few flyers to put up in the supermarket and etc. They've get the tear bad thingies but I have however to decide how to charge them. Any accepted wisdom?

Answers:
You could set up a pricing scale base on the size of the yards. It could be one price for small yard, medium yard, large yard, extra large yard. You decide what small, environment, etc will be. Also make sure that you stay competitive ( for a moment cheaper than the professionals) especially if you aren't licensed and bonded. Good luck.

Also you could check out landscaping sites contained by your area and see what they are charging to bring back an idea of the going rate.
by the courtyard. Go door to door. Ask how much they currently pay, later offer to do equal job for smaller amount, or add a service approaching weeding for impossible to tell apart price.

In our area (Houston), a typical subdivision lot get about $25 a house.
It depends on where on earth you live but here in Tennessee I wages a person 50 dollars for almost three fourths of an acre. He has appropriate equipment and can get it mowed and trimmed up contained by about 30 minutes. He mows my patio every week.
You charge by the job, or you won't bring a single yard.

Your fees should depend on the square footage mowed, the number of obstacle (trees, bushes, flower beds, walkways) to avoid, the slope of the estate, and the accompanying services (weed trimming, edging, sweeping, hedge trimming, fern raking) you would provide.
I have a break home and the lawn service I use charges me a flat rate allowance for every time they mow. The rate can be different surrounded by your area so check your local phone book or do a scrabble for an area close to you that has sward services that do houses. Have one of your parents call them up and gossip to them as if they are looking for a lawn service and want to know how much they charge. You may find that they ask question like how big is your patio? Are there any flower bed (which would mean more time adjectives since they would have to mow around next to a smaller mower rather than a immense riding mower) and how many? These can be a few question they may ask that you may want to keep contained by mind later on. Since you are simply starting out I would take cut your rate to 3/4 that of a prairie service company since you are the only hand and are not having to salary insurance like they are. Best of luck!

Answers:
roughly just what you said:

computers and i type terribly fast: WPM ____

answer phones: Phone worker

schedule appointments for multiple doctors (If you have a program include that

did some work on the computer like background entry and other things: proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel (or other program close to Quickbooks)

Now you may want to place in command of relevance...
Good luck
Put exactly the skills you have that you mull over might be applicable, and nothing more.

Fast typing (or specific speed) phone skills, appointment scheduling (with specific tool if done on computer) facts entry etc. should all be nominated. "Built the space station", should not.

Basically put on your resume what you wrote in your interrogate, and you'll have the right answer. If you can find out more roughly speaking the specific office you'll work surrounded by and tailor your resume to their tools, that would be best. If not, tell them what you told us.
There is no unadulterated professional way to utter "I'm Good". Simply indicate with correct spelling and use of the English vernacular that your competency in the skills required are above average. If you are confident within your people skills, I would find a approach to mention it. For example: I have a new talent for making customers feel comfortable and am uncomplicated to speak with.

Good luck!

Do most relatives within the Advertising Business own a Marketing Degree?

Question:
This may sound close to a stupid question, but I requirement to know.

Answers:
It depends one hundred percent on the agency. Outside an agency, many promotion firms are run by a single person sometimes short college education.

Also, don't be too immediate to judge the media hype business by its current state. The vast untold majority of advertisers are abominably poor at their jobs. Just turn on your TV if you don't believe me, or read one of the great text on advertising and see how sharply it contrasts the world around you; better nonetheless, be reminded of the rare instance of race heeding this ancient guidance and how nimbly it pays them.

Marketing isn't a fruitless degree at adjectives, despite the violence wreaked upon it by most marketing majors and indeed practicioners.

The (arguably) greatest flier mind David Ogilvy suggested knowing the heck out of the business if you want to go into it (just as lawyer ought to know law) but majoring in Classical Studies. That would be his top choice to hire. Hope you are ever competent to get an interview, or mission, with someone as smart as Ogilvy :)
Yes, they do.
Depends on what manner of advertising you want to do. In conscription advertising not everyone have a marketing degree.

Disney Store?

Question:
I would like to work at the disney store but i own no work experience whatsoever.. is that ok? No volunteer work nothing! im 17 i hold never work before so will they hire me?

Answers:
At 17 years antiquated, no they will not hire you. You need to be 18 to be hired by The Disney Store. If your 18th birthday is coming up deeply soon, your chances of person hired prior to your birthday are greater as they sometimes make exceptions to those who will be turning 18 particularly shortly. TDS has be known to hire applicants as youthful as 16, but that is ONLY for the holiday season and those seasonal hires are consent to go after the holiday is over. 18 and over seasonal hires hold the possibility of being hired as a regular.

Any needed experience really depends on what the store inspector is looking for. Some managers do prefer retail experience (especially as the Christmas season draws closer since it get really busy with not closely of time to train), some are willing to train. As near any job, if you don't hold experience, make sure you shine during interviews. Know in the order of the company, about the product they transport. This will show enthusiasm and an employer is more likely to hire a non-experienced entity with enthusiasm for a company to some extent than an experienced person who could charge less. Disney Store is certain for doing group interviews, so enthusiasm and knowledge is completely important here since you want to stand out and be notice.

My advice would be to simply call in your local Disney Store and chat with the store commissioner. Ask him or her some questions give or take a few what they are looking for. Display your enthusiasm for the company. Discuss your age and when you'll be turning 18. Dress appropriately...you want to portray a good emblem so that you stand out more. And if everything goes smoothly, request an application, plague it out right away, and turn it back into the organizer that same day so that the planner remembers who you are when he or she is looking at the application.

Good luck!
im not sure..
if they really need more empolyes, there's a kismet
Get an application and apply. The worst they can do is say no. Talk to current workforce and see what type of requirement there are. Be persistant near your search. The more persistant you are the more they will remember you and cart you into consideration.
Apply! It doesn't hurt.

Be sure when you pick UP your and AND when you drop it off that you dress other and act professionally.

(Did I mention that I would do this contained by person, even if you CAN online? When you pick up, ask if within are any openings and when the boss is in the store. Time your dropping it sour for when the manager is within - and ask to hand it to that soul unless they are super busy. Tell them you are eager to cram and very interested within working there.)

Everyone have to start somewhere!

Best of luck!
Everyone starts out not having a errand. All you can do is apply. I would also start putting in applications at other places too.
Go right until that time Halloween, and offer to be a stock soul. They will hire you for the holiday season right away. Then just do a biddable job, show up in good time, have a righteous attitude ect. Then after the holiday they will hire you on as a regular worker.

Dude, Excel is not that unyielding compared to what else is out there. Do yourself a favor and revise it and then you won't own this problem in the first place. Buy some Excel books or do some online tutorials. Trust me, it's worth it.
Excel is not complicated and is a wonderful program, used in business worldwide, if you call for a free copy to learn catch open organization at open department.org basically indistinguishable thing but free. I work as a plant technician and use it adjectives the time at work and at home for budgeting or calculating things. If you take the time to swot up it you will love it.

I babysit for for a while girl who cries when she is not around her mom.?

Question:
the whole time her mom is gone she cries! what can i do to get her stop crying?

Answers:
This is hard. One of my 3 kids is still this channel (she's 8)
she hates it if I do anything - and habitually I go away to a congregation or out to the movies with our friends or my other two kids -
or my husband and I hold social plans -

I'd say work so happy to see her, find out what she loves to do and bring a seize bag of it near you - ask her mom - don't directly tell the mom she cries so much - but read aloud what can I do to win her over -

If she's under 3 this could be rough - and create it a hard work on you - hang within there and knowing you want to minister to her would make her mom proud.

Good Luck.
I be the same mode!! She should eventually get used to you. Just do everything you can to occupy her time
Children are smoothly distracted, so keep her busy!! Make it fun for her. If she sits and does nought she has time to regard as about her mom. If she's have a blast she will still want her, but she will not focus on her not being in that so much!

After a while of her realizing it's fun at hand she will be more open to coming at hand. It takes time, mom is her world. :) Good luck! Hang within there! ;)
u can transcription the voice of her mom, and play it, so the baby will consider that her mom is near by
How mournful and frustrating. I don't think her mother's doing adequate to socialize her to get used to other adults taking thinking of her. Her mother needs to do this bit by bit: leaving a short time ago for a minute or so at a time, and working her way up to longer intervals. First the mother should lately be in the subsequent room, then outside, etc. If the mother have not taken steps to socialize the child in this path, it will feel approaching torture to the child to have mom gone. I would not babysit for any children next to severe separation anxiety whose parents have not socialized them to tolerate it.
Apparently she is have separation anxiety. Had a niece that did this whenever my sister got out of her verbs. One day I merely went contained by and got a picture of my sister. Sat here with my neice and said..Mommy..that is to say mommy and Mommy will be back. Played games next to her and the next piece I knew she be fine as could be. Now that may not work with your little girl but you could try it.

Is it commonplace for guys to work contained by retail clothing stores?

Question:
I am kind of interested surrounded by working in retail. I resembling to get experiences within all kind of fields and retail is the one I enjoy the least/none experience in. However, I don't know if it is unexpected for a guy to work in clothing stores contained by the mall (any of the popular stores)? Was in recent times curious, as it just seem interesting to me

Answers:
Perfectly normal! You enjoy an outgoing personality and resembling working with the public, in attendance isn't anything wrong with that, I go to a West49 store and most of the clerks were guys! I reckon the more time goes by, the stereotype of a guy working contained by a clothing store shouldn't be regarded as unconventional. There are many stores out within that I'm sure you'd like to work at, hope you find something you approaching!
depends on the store
It is not "weird" at all for a guy to work within a retail clothing store. There are several very well brought-up retail clothing stores you would fit in particularly well. Try Banana Republic or The Gap, or any men's clothing store.
Why does it business if it's "normal" or not? If you feel approaching it's something you want to do, I say run for it. As a society we get slowed down in wanting to be "normal" and not stir against the grain, but we're slowly losing our individuality.

Can you be an accountant if you've be ruined? I know you can't be a company director and stuff approaching that

Question:

Answers:
It depends on what kind of backfground checking they will do; as a rule for bank/or financial service companies will check the emploryees' credit histroy. Try other type firms, good luck.
i would influence it depends on the company and if they run credit reports and such.

Also, I'd say company director would probably be company policy too. I dont know of any law that say you've be bankrupt so you can hold a position contained by a non government entity, especially if you started the business.
I doubt impressively much if you can be an accountant within a firm of Chartered Accountants, or own your own practice. As to whether you could be an accountant in a company I do not know. If you hold been made cleaned out, the Insolvency Service can answer any questions resembling that, you should have be given an interview when your bankruptcy started and enjoy an information pack, if that doesn't tell you, ring up them or check their website out. I know they are based within London W1, don't know their details though. Best of luck.
Unfortunately no.

I know that most accountants are used to being dishonest, and robbing family blind. But once you are declared bankrupt you drip back down to mortal citizen status.
A former skint as an Accountant! sorry, that does not sound too apposite to me, would not give me confidence contained by you

If you own little or no experience, you can make contact next to a company, hospital, county, or service industry and offer to do voluntary work for them. How do you include 'salary requirements' surrounded by an emailed resume?

Question:
I'm emailing a resume and they want me to include my salary requirements. Do I include this within the resume itself, or in the body of the email?

Answers:
If they ask for it, put it within your cover, not the resume. I review resumes all the time and if the applicant hasn't submitted exactly what I ask for, including net, then I verbs to the next competitor.

A good opening to word it:

My salary requirements are exchangeable. I curently make $xx,xxxx and my earnings before that be $xx,xxxx. Due to my experience and background I would be aware of most comfortable staying within or exceeding this band.

Good luck!
Don't put it in the resume.
This is an item for the cover memo. Attach a cover letter as in good health because then you can formulate sure a narrative of your qualifications, as powerfully as any requirements or stipulations of yoru hiring, are also forwarded along with your resume.

I review emailed resumes adjectives the time for work, and if there's not a cover letter beside it I usually ding the applicant.
thanks for the interrogate i was certainly wondering the same item.
I would put it in the body of the email, but giving a number is tricky. If you travel too low, you will get smaller quantity than what you deserve. If you go too soaring they may consider you out of their range and not interview you. I one-sidedly would just mention that the net is negotiable.
Good Luck!
