Actors spend closely of time 'resting' so you do need to consider whether that is to say something you wish to commit ot. Otherwise, as the other answere say, make some stuff, return with a stall, see if it sells. Ultimately you're probably going to own to think of anyone self-employed because unless you have a qual surrounded by design/pattern-cutting/textile design the competition is so fierce that you may find getting work difficult - no concern how talented you are. OK, you have no prior experience. Figure out what personal skills you have that would make you the person for the job - for example, are you organized, neat, on time, a team player, learn quickly? That type of thing. They may ask you why you want the job - don't just say for the money. Say you need to start somewhere to gain experience, and you like their business because (whatever reason). They may ask you what hours you can work and how you feel about overtime. They may ask if nights and weekends will be a problem for you.
Take a couple of deep breaths before you head into the interview, stay calm and listen to the interviewer; if you let yourself be too nervous you won't listen clearly and won't be able to give clear answers. They will understand some nervousness. When the interview is over, if they haven't said when they'll make a decision, shake the hand of the interviewer and ask when a decision might be made. 5. Write down your own questions. Near the end of the interview, you will be usually asked if you have your own questions. This is the time to inquire about the nature of the work, the working conditions, working hours, training programs given to employees, chances for career growth and advancement, and any other points that may have not been covered yet. Questions pertaining to salary or benefits are never discussed at an interview unless the interviewer introduces them. Ø If you think you need a haircut, get one.
Ø Don't splash on too much perfume or aftershave. Many people are allergic to scents.

Ø Take a shower that morning and wear a deodorant.
Ø Polish your shoes and press your clothes the night before.
Ø Absolutely don't chew gum or smoke.
Ø If you suffer from sweaty palms, keep a handkerchief with a little baby powder or cornstarch in it. Before your interview, go into the restroom and dry your hands with it.
CONDUCT DURING INTERVIEW
Ø Don't accept coffee, tea or even water even if it is offered; having a drink is a distraction you don't really need right now.
Ø Show enthusiasm for your present job (even if you are not that excited about it).
Ø Listen carefully to the question asked. Pause for a moment before answering. Paraphrase the question if you are not sure you understood it.
Ø If you don't understand the question, ask for it to be repeated.
Ø Make sure that by the end of the interview you've gotten across your strongest skills or characteristics. Be specific about them. It is always a good idea to prove your expertise and personal skills by giving examples.
Ø Leave the interview with a good closing impression -- a firm handshake, a smile, good eye contact, a "Thank You", and a closing statement like, "I am very interested in this position," or "When can I expect to hear from you?"
INTERVIEW QUESTIONS
Here are some questions that employers often ask candidates. Prepare answers for these and you won't fear them, or any variation of them. Be brief. Answers to questions should not take more than 90 seconds. Do not ramble during the interview.

That real long answer is certainly correct, but since you're 16 they're probably just going to ask what hours you would be available to work and maybe something about job skills such as, if it's cash register, have you ever worked a cash register before? At your age & employment level, the interview should be quick & simple. Smile and if needed, take a breath before answering questions to collect your thoughts. Don't be afraid to laugh a little if appropriate. Be clean, well-groomed, dressed appropriately & it'll be fine.
Go over your past experience (work, volunteer, school) in your mind so you're prepared. Go over in your mind what you bring to the table and what you could do to benefit your potential employer. You'll be more prepared to answer questions and more confident.

first how outdated are you ? If you are young, HS or college age, you can jump to college and study that...i did that, i was involved beside my TV PRODUCTION club when i was within HS...also i took a TV PROD. Course at this Vocational Technical school...i cultured alot there, also through my own, videotape with my own camera, i together my Town's COMMUNITY PUBLIC ACCESS CHANNEL...you can do that too if you live in a city or town, everytown have it...look into that...then be in motion to college and study COMMUNICATIONS MEDIA with a concentration on Television production, here you will swot up all the stuff roughly speaking making a tv show and the media within general...Being a cameraman is a tough and competitive opportunity, you might not end up anyone the cameraman but you could start off anyone a Production Assistant for the show, then becoming an Assistant to the Cameraman, it take years to get to that position, but it's a hell of a ride to find there.lots of fun and more entertaining than counting numbers at a accounting bureau.

I am a bit skeptical on whether to pursue a career within Art or a career contained by something more realistic and consoling. I like drawing but I be aware of like in attendance are many others who can draw of late as well except better. Tell them you're hugely interested in working for that hotel, and you'd close to to talk almost the position in more detail. Then distribute your resume directly to that person. It will still be an uphill war, but not so hard as trying to bring back past HR.
